Moon in Uttara Ashadha (Sagittarius) Pada 1, Sagittarius Navamsha:
Pushkara Pada & Vargottama Navamsha. Those with Moon (or other planets) in a pushkara pada are some of the most successful people on the planet.
This first pada is a power Puskara pada that gives global luxury travels, international celebrity culture, global political theatre, the bright lights and bright smiles. Due to the Jupiter Sun combination of this pada usually follow some spiritual path of at least reflect a divine light. With negative influences this can be a holier then thou competition. They will insist on the best comforts fit for a king; it’s all part of the high culture they belong to. It’s all ceremony, smile, tip the hat, do what you have to do and go home. Unless there are afflictions, it’s all clean and tidy and as it should be when your on the international stage.
They are typically charming, charismatic, intelligent, respectful of the gods and have knowledge of scripture. They are usually quite wealthy, stylish, well dressed, good citizens, good hosts, and respectful as guests
Many of them are father figures at the top of the hierarchy: by divine right on Sagittarius side and by merit on the Capricorn side. Obesity too much of the good life, too much indulgence can spoil their health. They can be enlightened rulers, faithful public servants, or at least give the public what it wants. They radiate a divine light to everyone without distinction. They can be inclined towards many partners and the men might have an unknown number of official and unofficial children with wives and concubines. They are typically quite wealthy and capable of providing for all of them.
Like to hear secrets and romances from other people while sharing their own stories to inspire those who are coming up behind them. They often have an eager audience, others to question their wisdom so that they can chip away the impurities of world philosophy; their own personal identity. Broad understanding of human nature. Optimistic about large undertakings. They have a very encouraging internal guidance that allows them to believe in their own power to take on big projects. Confidence and high optimism help them to realise their political vision. This is the source of spiritual energy: all that is good and holy in this world. They usually come from a very wealthy family and are capable by wealth and temperament to enjoy all that the world has to offer.
It’s said they will have the large, horsy, teeth we sometimes expect from Sagittarius natives. They tend to fight with their family or more extended relatives. They will have health problems at a very early age, but one will live until 90.

Moon in Uttara Ashadha Sagittarius Pada 1
Moon in Uttara Ashadha (Sagittarius) 1st house
Rules the 8th house for Sagittarius ascendant.
Phala Deepika: “Waxing moon in 1st house provides and strong body and long life, power, wealth and freedom from fear.” Waning moon in 1st house is “just the opposite.”
Jataka Bharnam: Moon in the 1st house “with malefic influence causes the native to lack restraint and do base and evil deeds, they may be deaf or dumb, disabled.” Malefic influences will have a powerful effect on both moon and ascendant when the moon is here as there is no secondary ascendant to defuse some of the affliction, so even minor afflictions may be acutely felt.”
B.V. Raman: Moon in the 1st house: “The native becomes fanciful and romantic, a moderate eater. Considerable restlessness is usually tempered by an easy-going disposition. The fortune is generally changing. It makes one an idealist, a great traveller and explore. If conjunct Saturn, the mind will always be worried. If with Mars, women will suffer mensural disorders. Sociability tends to be a strong feature. He will be successful in professions that bring him in contact with the masses. Conjunct Rahu can give hysterical tendencies. Conjunct Jupiter elevates the mind.”
BPHS: 8th lord in the 1st house: “The native will be bereft of bodily pleasures, be a detractor of gods and brahmins and have wounds.”
B.V. Raman: 8th lord in the 1st house: “The native will be bereft of bodily pleasures, a detractor of gods and brahmins, and will have wounds on his body.”
Commentary: An agent of social transformations and destruction. One’s own personal identity and body will undergo radical change. May identifies as a social ideological outcast. May live a high risk lifestyle with many brushes with death; may be always on the edge. Identified with many taboos, and emotional volatility. They might themselves act as caretakers of those suffering traumatic abuse while perpetuating it on others. A wounded healer caught up in cycles of catastrophe and comfort. Their lives are often cut short. They might, however, have undisclosed sources of rejuvenation and protection. They often exude mystery, sexuality, death; everyone knows they are trouble, but they are often the ones who are there to comfort even the most dispossessed.

Phala Deepika: Moon in the 2nd will make one “rich, very learned, soft spoken, blessed with all worldly pleasures, but occasionally stammering.”
Jataka Bharnam: “Full moon in 2nd house brings prosperity, happiness, humility, progeny, good looks and wealth. Slim moon in 2nd causes the native to be a liar, penurious, has little intelligence, lacks foresight and has a narrow outlook on life. He cannot estimate his means, resources, or the situation in order to do anything or turn a profit.”
B.V. Raman: Moon in the 2nd house: “Will have a large family and enjoy much happiness. Money will be obtained through females. The financial position will be somewhat variable, will have a fair complexion. Dhundiraja says the native will be reserved and not much sociable, squint eyes and much admired.”
BPHS: 9th lord in the 2nd house: “The native will be learned, popular, wealthy, lustful, and blessed with happiness of wife and son.”

They bring knowledge of complex systems to the home culture. Many be an activist for small scale solutions. This is like the person who gains by transforming a local culture into a tourist attraction. If both karaka and 7th lord are weak the native may only dream of marriage but never marry. The natives wife may hail from a servant family. He will be close fisted and generally poor.”
Commentary: This is not a good position for partnerships or marriage and partners will always be distant and mostly a drain on your resources. They can however help with private getaways, foreign travel, and seclusion. Both partners typically have a strong need for privacy in the marriage and the terms of contract. Often times they just come together for one point, which certainly eludes to sex, but it could be anything; other than that one topic they don’t really have any further business with each other. They might use partnerships as a means of emotional escape, possibly with someone of a foreign culture and different ideology. They will enjoy getting away with their partners, private affairs, secret deals, backroom negotiations. They are typically very private people. All their partnering activity, deal making, and trusts fade into the background of their lives. They are not visible components of who they are; which typically makes them appear as independent actors. Spouses might identify as a hurt, exploited, marginalised person who is not good enough for the native; possibly causing them to wall themselves off from the relationship, or initiate divorce proceedings or lawsuits. The more power there is in the 12th house, the greater the losses will be for the native. One is likely to replace actual knowledge of their life partner with imagination and fantasies and conduct the relationship based entirely on subconscious projection. This creates and cycle emotional abuse and conflict followed by nourishing and comforting bedroom behaviours.
