“What, if some day or night a demon were to steal after you into your loneliest loneliness and say to you: ‘This life as you now live it and have lived it, you will have to live once more and innumerable times more’ … Would you not throw yourself down and gnash your teeth and curse the demon who spoke thus? Or have you once experienced a tremendous moment when you would have answered him: ‘You are a god and never have I heard anything more divine.” Friedrich Nietzsche

Healthy, strong individuals seek self expansion by experimenting and by living dangerously. You need people who can tell you what you don’t want to hear.“”The camera can film my face but until it captures my soul, you don’t have a movie.— Al Pacino

The Moon is still considered debilitated. Natives with Moon in Jyeshta are jerks, know it alls, lordly, proud and arrogant. They are typically comfortable precisely when everyone else its uncomfortable, so sometimes they make it happen. They have incredible psychological depth and they will use this to stir things up. They only want you to look at yourself, look at what you’ve become and perhaps reconsider your choices. Why do they have to be like this: just blurting out the most inappropriate thing at the moist inappropriate times. They don’t like to feel like they have no control. If you’re close to a Jyeshta, its best to talk to them about making changes in your life or they will become offended. And whatever you do, don’t tell a Jyeshta what to do; its’s the quickest way to offend them. They always know best, so do your best to make them think it was their idea: they love that. They are also suckers for flattery so don’t be shy about buttering them us before asking them for favours.

“The true man wants two things: danger and play. For that reason he wants woman, as the most dangerous plaything.”

Friedrich Nietzsche

They can be very self-sacrificing. They needs heart and soul, they need to be all in, they need a bit of danger in life. They typically face many ups and downs that are completely their own doing. And they know this, they are usually ready for the sacrifice before they even open their mouth. All of nothing in one roll of the dice: now that’s exciting. They need to feel their heart beat; they need to feel the heartbeat of the universe.

They can also be very protective and jealous; they can also have a lot of jealousy directed at them. It’s just the atmosphere they often find themselves in. Like Ashlesha, Jyeshta can be like a den of snakes with danger lurking around e era corner. This can also trigger a bit of paranoia, but moon in jyeshta is always boiling inside, always agitated in some way, and they usually act before they have really thought things through. They mostly act by faith, leading from some internal feeling that seems to have little to do with reality, but something the future does vindicate them. They are usually misunderstood and tend to mess up a good thing when they have it and thus end up spending a lot of time alone. Besides, they’re no-it-alls who can talk a lot, but aren’t very good at listening. Sometime one has to wonder: what’s the point in even trying to have a reasonable conversation with a Moon in Jyeshta.

A master looks at every move he would like to make, especially the impossible ones.”

Garry Kasparov

They can be incredibly inspiring and they will do everything that no one else wants to do. They tend to be heroes who swoop in at the last moment and save the day. When all else fails call your Jyeshta friend. It’s also better to keep Jyeshta’s close rather than make them into an enemy. They are very protective of friends and deadly to enemies. They will work sick or injured and not tell anyone; they will sacrifice everything for others and never say a word (until you cross them and they figure they can sting you by telling how much they sacrificed for you. They can be manipulative like that, just usually their passionate and angry ways work against them somehow.  They seek to achieve psychological superiority and control things from the background rather than get directly involved.

The classics tell us that natives with moon in Jyeshta are very ill-tempered, cruel, lying, libidinous, addicted to women not his own, lordly, wealthy, content, interested in meritorious deeds and just. They suffer heavy expenditure, will endure much grief, will curse others, and will not have many friends. They will be exceedingly irritable but they will have a strong sense of responsibility.

“The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.”

 Friedrich Nietzsche

He cannot estimate his means, resources, or the situation in order to do anything or turn a profit.”

B.V. Raman: Moon in the 2nd house: “Will have a large family and enjoy much happiness. Money will be obtained through females. Commentary: This moon gives a fairly round many face. And softens some of the sharper martian traits they might have. Of course if we again add Mars to the mix as we see in a couple of charts we get some sharper lines, frown lines. Mars, the ruler of this second house will have much influence on the results of this moon. But this moon will give them a fairly expressive face, they will be masters of giving hidden signals with their face and eyes.

They likely come fro a very psychologically manipulative family.

B.V. Raman: 1st lord in the 5th house: “The first child does not survive, not much happiness from children, short tempered, subservient and serving others. If fortified, he will be in the good graces of rules or powerful political parties and likely be absorbed into trade of diplomatic service. He will propitiate deities consistent with indications of the 5th lord.”

Commentary: It’s not that Jyeshta don’t see how their intensity and need to control everything eventually destroys the very ones they love. It’s a kind of self-depreciation while at the same time, shrugging their shoulders because, well, they are also the king. But this also connects with the importance of Libra in the 12th house. Due to this kind of self loathing, they want to get away from themselves and the best way for them to do this is in a relationship. But they are also such bastards that they tend to spend more time dreaming of some mythical other than actually experiencing reality with any other.

Commentary: Usually one of the popular people, many friends, well known, comfortable in big crowds, parties, rallies, and that sort of thing, Friends are important to them and they are prone to comfort shopping; they like to be in the marketplace, the bazaar, the shopping mall, community events. They are soothed by marketplace participation, motherly, parental and caretaking  figures. They might be a trauma healer or will at least be interconnected with the trauma, tantric, sexual healers. Fundraising, gain from contracts, gain from partnerships, from negotiations, business deals, one-to-one connections. But the Jyeshta aspect of this moon suggests they may be shit-disturbers in the marketplace.

Their partner is likely to come from their friends circle or they will get involved for purposes of economic gain. They will be close to elder sibling, and those who are just ahead of them in the marketplace. Age gaps are common as Capricorn natives seek stability, security and comfort through relationships. Ones mother typically participates in the marketplace, earns independently, is active as a community organised, and gains a sense of belonging through achievement and awards. Earnings my come through housewares, travel, emotional comfort seeking, foundational education, agriculture, products of the sea. They may be vegetarian themselves or followers of progressive movements, activist or revolutionary circles.

This position of the moon upsets the home life, is not good for ones mother or ones early education, teachers, police, landlords or landowners. Additional affliction can bring problems with the breasts or chest. Hormonal rhythms will likely be off. The upheaval can be powerful enough that one changes their citizenship by moving to a new country. Although they are sincere in their relationships with others they also tend to seek out those who can help them achieve their materialistic goals. People might be used as a means to an end; in a gentle way we could say that relationships and friends are a vehicle for gain, but are not necessarily exploitive. They tend to be more comfortable in the broader economic marketplace and big systems than they are with the local home culture (the 4th house is 6th from moon).

If Rahu conjoins this moon they can be excessively materialists with a craving for wealth and social connectivity through fundraising or sales.
