Saturn in Ashlesha

Their work space is often toxic, polluted, and dangerous. Stone snakes: cold, hard, disciplined, controlled emotions. Tough love. Working in early in life. Works hard to get an education, often putting themselves though college or university with is typically delayed. They are disciplined and disciplinarians. Saturn in Ashlesha typically gives them a duty to teach the topics of the house. They are often involved with land development, underground work, water, sewer, irrigation, trenching, canals. They may also work in other underground fields like  astrology, tantra or the occult; working with kundalini energy. This is a very calculating position for Saturn. He always likes to know what will happen in the future. Habits, routines, roads become fixed.

For Ashlesha main page follow this link.

There is often a  step parent involved, mothering nourishment and care may have been lacking or restricted. Mother may have been busy with work. They typically grow up in the working class and have a working class home; cold house, chores, labour work early in life, child labour. They can be tough surly,  tactless, self medicated people who do not take criticism well.

Venus aspects to Saturn in Ashlesha in the 9th house  is good for astrology, underground guru (not a popular one). Saturn with Venus or Jupiter can make a medicine man. Malefic influence can cause misuse of the knowledge. Saturn and Moon conjunct with with malefic influence can make the mother poison somehow.

Saturn in Ashlesha reflects the simple blue collar working class culture and rhythms. They may work with civil infrastructure. These people get a lot of experience being in a tight spot.

House is usually old and there may be water problems, leaks, humidity, black mould, sewer blockage. They have to spend considerable time and effort for upkeep and maintenance. They are caretakers of the home and the land in so many ways.

Fredrick the Great Inspects the Potato Harvest

Frederick the Great, who has Saturn in Ashlesha with the Moon conjunct and Mars aspecting, sets out to tame or conquer nature. He completed massive land reclamation projects: he drained swamps, built canals, roads, and farms. He once told Voltaire that, “Whoever improves the soil, cultivates land lying waste and drains swamps, is making conquests from barbarism.” Although this had a huge toll on the natural landscape (which puts me in mind of the story of Rama’s war against Taksha the serpent mother) he also had a great love for nature, plants and animals. He was also known as the “Potato King” for introducing Potatoes to the region.

He didn’t like hunting and set up the first veterinary hospital. He never wore spurs on his horse because he saw it the same as having someone stick a fork in your belly. He was very much a man of two natures who could care for his home while destroying his enemies.

The other things we find with Ashlesha placements is architecture. Louis XIV, with Venus in Ashlesha, built grand and beautiful palaces while Frederick the Great with Saturn here saw the home and the land in a much more pragmatic way. Culture was important to him: he also revived the Opera, the libraries, sculpture, and the fine arts, as well as the sciences and mathematics.

Frederick the Great became increasingly solitary later in life, preferring to spend time with animals rather than people. By his late 60’s he was suffering from asthma, gout and other ailments but he continued to rise before dawn, drank six to eight cups of coffee a day, “laced with mustard and peppercorns”, and attended to the affairs of the nation.

They can be immune to fear and hard living and be very self controlled.  They have simple habits, but they can become very set in those habits; this can of course include addictive habits. This Saturn in Ashlesha also contributes to kidney problems  and hearing deficiency.

Charlie Chaplin played the working man and Schwarzenegger appeals to the working class masses. Connection with the 4th house will give a spartan home. Hearing trouble is common with this placement though it may not come until later in life. “Thick skin.” It may also be related to kidney trouble, as it hardens and dries some of the watery cavities; which is a dictum that we can extend to the other body parts depending on the placement of this. This Saturn in 12th house might make them dream of a simple life and possibly take long trips to watery places. In the 9th house he might create a work to live scenario offering some kind of service for a place to live. I’ve seen this even in the charts of wealthy people. They are very likely to take a long pilgrimage to watery places or places associated with snakes.

Saturn in Ashlesha Pada 1, Sagittarius Navamsha:

Saturn in Ashlesha Pada 2, Capricorn Navamsha: This is this is the most common pada for Saturn in Ashlesha. This part of Ashlesha provides them with a very solid foundation to build their career on, slowly but surely they will make it to the top of their field. They get a reputation for hard work and discipline. They typically remain fairly callous, but this is often a prerequisite in their job. They might be surrounded by emotional manipulation but be unfazed by it. They should gain a leadership position or leadership responsibilities later in life. They are capable of the most difficult and unsavoury leadership tasks.

Saturn in Ashlesha Pada 3, Aquarius Navamsha:

Saturn in Ashlesha Pada 4, Pisces Navamsha: They might use their work to escape from reality. Very hard workers who don’t get much rest. They have a tough skin, they can take anything, name calling, hard living, pain, whatever it is they are immune to it

Saturn in Ashlesha 1st house:

Rules the 7th & 8th houses for Cancer ascendant.

Phala Deepika: Saturn in 1st house “causes one to be afflicted with sorrow and misery from early childhood and is sure to suffer from poverty and want. He is untidy and indolent.”

Jataka Bharnam: Saturn in 1st house: “If Saturn is exalted or in own sign the native becomes the king of his country or his own city, but in any other sign he is unfortunate, diseased and devoid of wealth. The disease will affect that part of the body represented by the sign.”

B.V. Raman: Saturn in the 1st house: “Foreign customers will be easily copied and imitated. If Saturn is not afflicted there will be much concern for others. Self confit dance is normally justified. Moral stability will also be marked. The disposition is calm, grave and serious. The body will be weak and emancipated. Progress in any venture will be slow but certain. There may come an aversion for responsibility. This position makes habits inactive. Loss through negligence and lack of opportunity are possible. The same results will be noticed when Saturn aspects the ascendant. Misfortune is likely in the early part of life.”

Chamatkar Chintamani: Saturn in the 1st house: “The native has plenty of wealth, unabated greed. Discontented, quarrelsome, unhappy, crude. Poisonous glance; mental agony, billions, jealous. The native is rich, regrets, disputes, destroyed the strongest enemies but is dissatisfied. Perturbed, angry, Saturn-like looks, jealous of others property and victims of various ailments. The native is sick, sexy, gloomy, lazy, faces various ailments in childhood. If Saturn is in it’s own sign, exalted or in Sagittarius, Pisces the native is affluent like a king, chief of the village or town; learned, a scholar, handsome, long-lived and charming. In other signs the results are similar to those of the Sun, there is trouble in the nose, illusions, heart-burning, trouble in the womb and joints, biliousness, chill, pain in the private parts, under-arm and body pains. Respiratory problems if Saturn is afflicted. If it is unfavourable, trouble due to poverty, own acts, evil spirits, devils and thieves. Saturn is very troublesome causing total ruin. This Saturn can kill the enemy just by his poisonous looks. If afflicted by the Moon, they will live only by the mercy of others; but this is modified if aspected by a benefic. If well placed by sign or aspect the native is contemplative and considerate, discrete, prudent, systematic, diligent, frugal, intimate, attentive, quiet, sincere, and serious, loves merit, thoughtful, growth and success are slow but sure. Afflicted Saturn indicates trouble and sickness in the part of the body represented by the sign it’s in. Their temperament is subtle, acquisitive, penetrative, careful, secretive, and sometimes gloomy and discontented. There is loss through sickness, misfortune and delays. Generally these natives are deficient in Phosphate and Calcium. They are given to nervousness, timidity, and diffidence in youth; boldness from middle age. The native with Saturn in Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces prefers service and gets promotion after pursuing seniors. Fortune smiles on him by retirement time. There is only one marriage; sons are few or none but many daughters. He has large but weak eyes, commanding speech, authoritative look if in Aries, Leo or Sagittarius. This Saturn in Gemini denotes 2 marriages, absence or progeny, progress and success later in life, good education, interest in law, education or medicine. Polite, captivating and tactful if in Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces. In Taurus, Virgo, Libra, Capricorn, Aquarius indicates success in government or corporate service. There is trouble through the family, strife with partner, two marriages, sensual, ailing partner, early death of parents (Longevity to parents if in Libra). He is best by age 56 but suffers economic loss in the 25th and 31st year. Marriage is denied or the partner fails to survive if afflicted by Venus. Wealth and sons do not go together. Trouble through business. Accidents, sudden death or imprisonment if afflicted by Mars. Wicked and deprived if it conjoins Moon. Ugly and poorly dressed if in Leo or Sagittarius. In water signs indicated cold, strictures, obstructions, bones and urinary problems. Biliousness if in Gemini or Aquarius. The native leaves a good impression in the first interview. Good natured in Aries, Cancer, Leo, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Pisces. Selfish in Virgo, Capricorn, Aquarius, Taurus.”

Jataka Bharnam: “Moon & Saturn conjunction allows the native to enjoy sex with many women, loves and prostitutes. They have a guilty disposition, mixed blood and are devoid of manliness. They do agriculture or labour work and often take part in local elections and may be successful. In a female, this conjunction in the 7th house will give menstrual irregularities and in a male chart they might lack interest in sexual intercourse.”

BPHS: 7th lord in the 1st house: “the native will travers others’ wives, be wicked, skilful, be devoid of fortitude and will be afflicted by windy diseases.”

B.V. Raman: 7th lord in the 1st house: “The native might marry someone he has known since childhood, or they were brought up in the same house. Ones partner will be stable and mature. The native will be intelligent and capable of weighing the pros and cons. Afflictions can bring constant travelling. If Venus is also afflicted, the native will be sensual and seek clandestine relations with the opposite sex.”

B.V. Raman & BPHS: 8th lord in the 1st house: “The native will be bereft of bodily pleasures, be detractor of gods and brahmins and will have wounds.”

Commentary:  Cold, hard, serious, severe people. Cold-blooded blue-bloods.

Saturn in Ashlesha 2nd house:

Rules the 8th & 9th houses for Gemini ascendant.

Jataka Bharnam: Saturn in 2nd house “native lives with other men, is addicted to some evil habit (like drinking), is deserted by his own men, wanders in different countries, gets honour from the king, wealth and conveyance.” “It often happens that they have to live far away from their family. Their speech is harsh, they are thrifty, there is some possibility of disease of the mouth and they might not be pretty.”

B.V. Raman: Saturn in the 2nd house: “Unless exalted or in own house it tends to make earning an uphill struggle. Much work with little gain. Harsh speech, unsocial, sorrowful and roaming about aimlessly, the person comes across many opportunities but seldom takes advantage of them. In family life he will be unhappy. He will gain by dealing with metals, storage, mines, labour, etc. He will be unpopular.”

BPHS: 8th lord in the 2nd house: “The native will be devoid of physical vigour, will possess little wealth and will not regain lost wealth.”

B.V. Raman: 8th lord in the 2nd house: “Conjunct the 2nd lord brings trouble of all sorts. The native suffers from eye and tooth troubles. He will have to eat unhealthy, tasteless, putrid foods. His domestic life will be filled with discontent and quarrels. His wife will not understand him. This may lead to estrangement and separation. If longevity is good he may suffer some severe illness. If in the 6th, 8th, or 12th navamsha the intensity of the results will be reduced in some way.”

BPHS: 9th lord in the 2nd house: “The native will be learned, popular, wealthy, lustful, and blessed with happiness of wife and son.”

B.V. Raman: 9th lord in the 2nd house: “The native will be learned, popular, wealthy, lustful, and blessed with happiness for wife and sons. Exalted Venus here will cause raja yoga and give very auspicious effects; as will Venus or Mars when they are in their own sign for Virgo & Pisces ascendants. No planet is debilitated in this position.”

Commentary: They feel like life is simple; all we need in the bear necessities. They may have been very poor in their earliest years; living in very cold conditions. They will devote their life to researching and developing wisdom to give better

foresight. Family is hard, they value simplicity and travel. Family is usually educated and may be involved in public service, social work agriculture, or labour. Building wealth will take lots of time and lots of hard work. They value public service which can lead them to undervalue their time and energy and restrict their earnings. They are often lovers of history and they work hard  for their higher education and are generally hard working  and very thorough student. They value education and will be life long learners.  The generally speak a harsh truth, they like to talk about philosophy and global cultures. They might change their religion or appear as secular or atheist (just a blue collar guy) despite having deep faith.

They can be masters of the art of argument, rhetoric, grammar, languages in general. This could also translate as a technical or scientific language due to Saturn. The can be extremely calculative; they don’t like for anything unexpected to happen, so they develop good foresight. They can be harsh in speech, some might say they “spit poison.” The can come off as very cold, cruel and a little too defensive,  They can suffer in regards to financial security: there may be some land in the family but little liquid wealth. They may have grown up in a poorer home facing many problem from step parents and step siblings.

Hillary Clinton: Gain of wealth from the Clinton Foundation. The Moon, the ruler of this house is in the 7th house giving trusts, Mars in of course conjunct this Saturn in her chart and Jupiter & Ketu are both aspecting.

committees, all with some relation to Ashlesha topics: budget; armed services; environment and public works; education, labour and pensions; ageing; and security and cooperation with Europe. September 11 happened 11 Sept 2001 and in October 2001 she voted for the patriot act and the war against terrorism began with Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan (and about half a dozen other countries that got no notice).  By December 2002 she was already busy with war and weapons sales and by Oct 2002 she voted to go to war against Iraq after carrying on about fake WMD for the past year. These campaigns have, of course, faced heavy criticism and the whole of 9/11 has become one of the grand conspiracy theories perhaps even greater than the assassination of JFK. Her husband also took 26 trips on Lolita express in this period.

B.V. Raman: Saturn in the 3rd house “Brave and courageous, wealthy, loss of brothers, eccentric and cruel. Sorrow through brothers; honoured by rulers, the head or president of local boards, municipalities, etc. He will protect many people. He attains success only after he suffers disappointment and reverses. The tendency of the mind is toward gloom, anxiety and misgivings. The mental condition improves with age. If afflicted, the Despondency  is likely to run into mental affliction.”

BPHS: 9th lord in the 3rd house: “Native will be blessed with fraternal happiness, be wealthy virtuous and charming.”

He may be forced to sell his paternal property due to trouble from his writings.”

BPHS: 10th lord in the 3rd house: “The native enjoys happiness from brothers and servants. He will be valorous, eloquent and truthful.”

B.V. Raman: 10th lord in the 3rd house: “The native has to travel constantly on short journeys. He will be a speaker, writer or celebrity if the 10th lord is well placed. His brothers may be instrumental in helping with his career in some way. If this planet is poorly placed by sign, nakshatra or in navamsha (6th, 8th, or 12th navamsha) the natives rise will be slow and beset with obstacles. If the 3rd lord is also afflicted, rivalry between brothers may lead to reversals and obstacles to ones career.”

Commentary: Thick skin on their hands and shoulders. Some healing ability through the hands is possible. Might be involved with getting groups together to merchandise and sell basic ayurvedic products or other medicinal or chemical products like make up, Mary-K, candle parties and the rest of these kinds of things.  Influences by either Rahu or Mars is more likely to increase the chemical content while Venus and Jupiter will make it more natural products. Mars aspect can make it toxic while rahu aspect might make it oily, illegal. Jupiter influence will take it from being a small business into a larger enterprise. But either way, the meeting will be quite, not much said. Saturn Ashlesha is very sensitive to vibration which might actually give them fairly good hearing in the 3rd house of hearing. They are always listening, feeling things out. The third house also represents the neighbourhood they grow up in. Regardless of what the home itself was like, it was dangerous territory outside of the home. They might have enjoyed playing in the ditches and canals; this might also describe their work environment. This Saturn certainly gives a blue-collar mentality, restricts the personal expression; this no doubt relates with the hushed tones the meetings of this Saturn; they don’t want things to get out. Of course the secrets aren’t buried very deep in Ashlesha and this Saturn is 9th & 10th lord.

This can also be express as the person who is quietly sneaking around the group like snake, or like a wedding photographer. Just sitting quit at meetings and tribal events.

Or he will be a puppet in the hands of his parent-in-law.”

BPHS: 2nd lord in the 7th house: “The native will travers other’s wives and will be a physician. If this 2nd lord is conjunct a malefic the natives wife will be a harlot. The natives spouse may have secret addictions. Poor relationship with partner and eventual divorce is common. For Capricorn ascendant the native love does not reach beyond the physical level. The beloved may be younger than the native and one might fall in  love with a married woman who is much addicted to love.”

B.V. Raman: 2nd lord in the 7th house: “Likely to become a healer. Laxity of morals will mark both husband and wife and much money will be wasted on the gratification of the senses. When the 2nd lord conjoins the 7th lord and they are well-fortified there will be an influx of wealth through foreign sources. The native will take journeys to foreign countries for business. When Rashi, navamsha, or constellation held by the 2nd lord happens to be a feminine one he will benefit by contact with women.”

Saturn in Ashlesha 8th house:

Rules the 2nd & 3rd houses for Sagittarius ascendant.

Phala Deepika: Saturn in 8th house “makes the native untidy and poverty stricken. He suffers from piles and starvation; is cruel minded and condemned by his own friends.” “Native developed neurotic troubles.” “Brings death from windy conditions (too much vata), or by dreadful fever like typhoid.”

Jataka Bharnam: “Saturn in 8th houses give a person a weak body, suffering from diseases like ringworm, itching etc. is without fear, discontented and lethargic complaining of constipation and fearful of diseases of a private nature. Their right eye is weak and he has to suffer the loss of original capital in his trade. If no other malefic aspects this Saturn they will have a long span of life.”

B.V. Raman: Saturn in the 8th house: “Gives good longevity but many responsibilities in life. The native will discharge his duties through sheer perseverance against all odds. He will have defective eyes, very few children, a paunch, and will seek the company of women from outside of his caste. He may have a predisposition to suffer from asthma, consumption and lung disorders. If afflicted, his children will cause him pain and grief. The native will be dishonest and cruel.”

BPHS: 2nd lord in the 8th house: “The native is endowed with abundant land wealth, but he will have little mental felicity and be bereft of happiness from elder brother. Wealth usually comes from testament or inherited property. Wealth increases after marriage from the cooperation of partner or partners family.”

B.V. Raman: 2nd lord in the 8th house: “Will have very little of no happiness from husband or wife. Misunderstandings with elder brothers. Gets landed properties. When the 2nd lord is strong there is and influx and loss of wealth. Observation reveals that there will be very little earnings but inherited or accumulated wealth will disappear.”

BPHS: 3rd lord in the 8th house: “The native will be a thief, will derive his livelihood from serving others and will be killed by the king. The native himself becomes the cause of his own death, he is given to criminality due to which they receive the capital punishment. They have proven to be inborn criminal. They also tend towards suicide. If a malefic is in the 8th house he functions as an opponent towards ones longevity that provokes to commit suicide.”

B.V. Raman: 3rd lord in the 8th house: “Involvement in a criminal case or false allegations. Trouble on account of a death or bequests. Marriage is unfortunate. Career will not be smooth, victim of misfortune. Suffers from serious or dangerous disease and looses his younger brother.”

Commentary:  Hitler is the only one on this list that we “know” killed himself (this “knowledge” is disputed by some who think he may have escaped to Argentina).  They may take fairly regular travels abroad or work. Safety and security, trenching safety.  Their savings and wealth we be a very closely guarded secret and may be physically stored underground in a root cellar or bunker.

Saturn in Ashlesha 9th house:

Rules the 3rd & 4th houses for Scorpio ascendant.

Phala Deepika: Saturn in 9th house “deprives the person of good luck, wealth, children, father and religious merit. He is wicked besides.”

Jataka Bharnam: Saturn in 9th house “native has faith in his religion and acts in conformity with it. His body is disabled, he is stupid or foolish but extremely beautiful.” “Enthusiastic towards religious traditions and unshakable faith in scriptural traditions. He is considered hard or stiff for not adapting a more flexible attitude; this makes them foolish. It gives feelings of pride and arrogance and causes loss of destiny. If this Saturn is debilitated, the wife remains diseased and sickly, and one will die of a windy disease, or paralysis all of a sudden.”

B.V. Raman: Saturn in the 9th house: “The will lead a money life and may not marry. He will be well known for his valour on the battlefield. Conjunct with the Sun can cause serious conflicts with his father as well as with his own children. He may suffer from growths or lumps in the stomach. Conjunct Mercury makes the native untruthful and deceitful though he may be wealthy. Thrifty in domestic life, somewhat irreligious, he may become a founder of a charitable institution.”

BPHS: 3rd lord in the 9th house: “Native is bereft of paternal bliss, makes a fortune through his wife and enjoys the happiness of having a son.”

B.V. Raman: 3rd lord in the 9th house: “Fortune will improve after marriage. Father untrustworthy. Long journeys. Sudden and unexpected changes in life. If favourably disposed the natives broth will inherit ancestral property. The native himself will benefit though their brother. When afflicted, the native will have misunderstandings with his father.”

BPHS: 4th lord in the 9th house: “The native will be devoted to god and loved by all. Virtuous, honourable and blessed with every kind of happiness. Home will be near the temple.”

B.V. Raman: 4th lord in the 9th house: “Generally a fortunate combination favouring father and properties.”

Commentary: Since 3rd house rules over our mentality these natives typically have a humble spiritual mentality, their efforts are usually in line with ethical norms. They can be very patient and withstand almost any conditions. They can be very tough, even cold blooded. They might at times practice a kind of tough love. They will travel widely, live close to the land in some way, and be unmoved by hardship. They may be writers of philosophical ideas and philosophy might be like a hobby to them. Ashlesha can make then especially good at communications across cultures.

Parents may be educated blue collars types and there is likely to be a split between them. Step-parents the logical result and the native may not get along with them very well. Father may be a blue collar worker, labourer, or farmer. Mother may have been absent from parenting due to her own education needs. Foundational education might be really tough to complete and they might go into debt for their foundational education without ever receiving any diploma. They are not likely to feel comfortable in university and the professors may be hard on them, they might change their major, bureaucratic issues might arise and they will have to work-hard at a job in order to survive while studying, many obstacles to education will be there.  They take the hard road to wisdom and become well versed on folklore, mythology, home remedies, and local cultures. They might be self taught, gaining wisdom as they travel. They might be teachers of philosophy; typically some kind of Shaivism, sacrifice, humility, penance. Since Ashlesha relates with the kundalini Shakti naga they will of course gain practical knowledge of how to control this powerful energy. They can be hard teachers who teach about the two sides of reality as well as the friction that allows them to merge in the middle. They may be involved with land development, civil water and waste-water. They might live at their place of work or have housing provided. Housing is typically simple and of lower quality. They might find their comfort near water, near a sewer, or at the university; though it’s also likely they will change home seasonally. They whole world might be their home. They are typically excellent caretakers of the land.

Further Commentary: because this Saturn is in Mercury’s Nakshatra the aspect to 3rd house is especially potent for writing larger material, editing, and ensuring their communications are correct. They can be a little blunt or harsh is the communications. They take action to defend dharma and have no qualms about sacrificing themselves to do so.

Personal experience related to Saturn Ashlesha 9th house: I can speak of my own experience with Saturn in Ashlesha 9th house. This Saturn rules my 4th house so I’ve always been nomadic and my home has often been supplied by my employer, I’ve mostly lived near water. My higher education was delayed for work and my work involved trenching, piping and setting grade underground. 99% of my work from those days is buried; never to be seen again. My stick in those days would have been a seven foot steel crowbar and perhaps the shovel. I’ve worked in the sewer, washed dishes, and done some fishing in my life; many dangerous jobs, underground and sometimes under the table. I grew up fishing; baiting hooks and baiting traps. This Saturn is 2nd from my moon so my mothers family is a fairly solid working class family, much of what I learned in the forest comes through my elder brother who learned it from our mothers side of the family. My mother was also a bit older by the time she had me.

I eventually went to university to study languages, communications, logic and rhetoric; topics much beloved by Mercury. I already had a solid grounding in mathematics, map (blue-print) reading and engineering from construction management. All of these different ways for calculating and analysing the world around us eventually culminated into Vedic Astrology. Then there’s the spiritual aspect of this placement in 9th house which has turned my beliefs very conservative and old fashioned. I live mostly in Varanasi now which provides the wet filth of Saturn in Ashlesha while the 9th house gives me a spiritual or philosophical setting; it’s kinda like living in a big ashram with no rules on one hand, but very harsh social restrictions on the other hand. Moon, the ruler of my 9th house goes into the 8th house highlighting research and Tantra; while Mercury, the ruler of Ashlesha goes into Sagittarius highlighting my humanistic philosophical side. I have also studied several holistic healing methods. It could be mentioned that my mother was a forensic psych. nurse and I grew up studying her text books. All of which has a strong influence of Ashlesha.  Saturn in 12th gives strong powers of renunciation, sacrifice, and fortitude; cold comforts.

Commentary: This is a position for a long dedicated pubic service career. They are known for their sacrifice and they will be celebrated in the end. If this Saturn is in the 10th from the Moon they might be working outside of the system but still feel like they have dedicated their lives to the people. They might also have some kind of special immunity. It takes a thick skin to take on the kinds of public responsibilities they do. They call this throne yoga!?

Commentary: Marital disputes get lost in the background and both parties resist breaking up. Thick skin on their feet doing service or labour work. They tend to be sequestered for long periods of time. They get a lot of work done when they are alone and they are disciplined when they get into the office. They offer their services behind the scenes, Heavy afflictions to this Saturn will bring more difficult periods of isolation, bad dreams, prison or strict boarding schools,
