Ketu in Scorpio for all Rising Signs

Jyeshta is represented by Indra, the king of the gods, the hero and dragon slayer who wields the thunderbolt and is the master of electrical energy and the atmosphere. Jyeshta is also represented by the Eldest sister to Laxmi; the dark sister who married Mritu, the fearsome god who kills. She is the Shakti of the god who brings death; she has the power to send people into the underworld. But the symbol; is the urubus, the snake eating its own tail, realizing the infinite by bending time. Jyeshta relates with all kinds of occult magic, alchemy, tantra, aghore and all that which comes from the underworld.

Mercury, the ruler of Jyeshta has already mastered the underworld of the Naga represented by Ashlesha; in Jyeshta we find ourselves to have traversed another full cycle and come back again to the underworld with a little more refined magic. Here we find mysterious Mars and adaptable Mercury combining their energy. This makes jyeshta a master of tactics and strategy; a master of the art of war. Jyeshta rules over all senior positions and seniority in general. Even today many people say that Indra is the most powerful of all the gods.

Ketu in Scorpio-Jyeshta  will reveal such mysteries that we cannot imagine. Some key phrases that come up for me with this combination are: unrestrained psychological warfare, scattered secrets, no barriers to research, no limits to the depth that can be found here, research of the paranormal, lifeless revolution, scattered conquests, alien hero, unexpected surrender, loss of sexual boundaries and a numbing effect from all of this.

With Mars’ aspect on ketu we could see great destruction, revolution, terrorism. For the average Aries native this could bring great transformations, upheavals, accidents, unbounded access to the abyss, to the worlds of mystery, sex, dealth, emergency. Mars and ketu can bring surgical strikes or it can be very unstable and cause great explosions. Mars is blood, fire, steel and cutting, ketu numbs, his cutting utterly destroys (or scissorizes as my teacher says). For the most daring tantric personalities this could be an incredible opportunity to dive into the great dark unknown. One would turn inward, receive the blessings of Ganesha, the guardian of Shakti’s abode. Rahu will be in Taurus relishing the material comforts so the forces of illusion will be strong and foresight will be covered by his thick oily smoke. Combined with Mars’ impetuousness this could really be a recipe for disaster.

Venus will also be conjunct with this ketu in the first and last part of 2021. This combination makes me think of psychedelic art, but it’s also not considered good for contracts, agreements or negotiations as these things are either cut off or occur in such a scattered and random way that almost no one takes it very seriously. Since it’s happening in Scorpio the negotiations could be kept secret unless ketu’s no boundaries influence created a leak; and the leaks could be significant, random, anonymous, ghostly and perhaps not even a part of this earthly existence.

If you have Ketu in Scorpio in 1st house you should be prepared for a complete loss of personal identity. This can be good for those on a spiritual path but there will no doubt be some pain of separation. Can be good for becoming “the face” of some product of movement that ones heart is not fully into.

Ketu in 2nd house can spell the breakup of the family, savings can come from otherworldly sources or be completely destroyed. One might act against family values. Can be good for learning a new language or starting a new age superfood diet. One needs to be mindful of the things they say.

Ketu in 3rd can bring a randomness to communication behaviors. If you are part of a group or a team it could be time for the break up and scattering of the individual. One might not be mindful of the details or the details may be scattered in such a way as to seem unreal. Might have difficulty connecting when reaching out to the world.

Ketu in 4th can be a very unstable period when one’s base or foundation becomes unstable. There might be little comfort or release in the home, or perhaps home changes altogether. One might feel alienated from the home community and boundaries will not be effective. One’s sense of belonging will relate with everywhere and nowhere.

Ketu in the 5th is not a good time for having children, and for parents it can be a time when the children leave the home (and are scattered). Speculative tendencies, romance, fun and your unique expressions might be a little strange at this time. It can signify a very experimental time regarding personal expression. It can be alright for people who take centre stage, but their schedule might be a little wacky and shows might come and go without explanation.

Ketu in the 6th is a destroyer of enemies, but it can also become our own destruction if we are not more aware of our enemies. It’s wise to remember that just because we are not affected by our enemies, debts, illness and jealousies doesn ‘t not mean they are not there to bring their malevolence into our life.

Ketu 7th brings his ambivalence to our relationships and negotiations. There can be unexplainable changes to agreements, negotiations might be cut off for no apparent reason. It’s a good time to either read the fine print. Can be a great time to negotiate a surrender. We might even find ourselves seeking to form a relationship of deal thru the art of surrender, which is not always the best way to achieve a balanced agreement. But it’s possible that a forced surrender could bring about union.

Ketu 8th house will bring up a lot as all our deepest fears and secrets that we don’t want to talk about will be revealed. This position can remove all our sexual and taboo inhibitions and bring in random sexual partners. But catastrophes can also seem to happen randomly and in a disconnected way.

Ketu 9th house scatters the wisdom and makes one believe in ghosts and aliens and other supernatural phenomena. One is likely to disregard and disrespect gurus as they wander from one to the other; or one might meet a guru who is more like an unorthodox wandering saint. This position also supports surrendering to a guru, Islam (which is surrender), nihilism or Buddhism which idealized nothingness.

Ketu 10th house can cause one to take a strange job or random jobs. It’s not a good position for a durable career unless you’re in the spiritual or supernatural business. Leaders and authority figures can be inept, incometent and lifeless.

Ketu in 11th house will bring some strange friends into your life. People and profits can come and go like ghosts without boundary. Strange hopes and wishes or empty desires might make you feel like you don’t know what you want, and if you get what you want it may be tossed aside like a piece of meaningless trash.

Ketu 12th house brings very strange dreams, little privacy and scattered sleep patterns. It can be good for meditation, clairvoyance, Privacy can come at strange times in strange circumstances. One might go in and out of consciousness, space out or seem to disappear randomly.
