Leo 10^th house: Rahu conjunct retrograde Jupiter (full Moon February 24^th)

Rahu comes into the 10^th house with Jupiter. Rahu will being some intensity to public life and a drive for pubic recognition. Jupiter, as owner of the 5^th house transiting the 5^th sign will bring extra energy to this desire for recognition. Since that fifth house is 8^th from the 10^th changes in career could come with some suddenness or unexpected. The Sun look on his own house should also be positive for 10^th house thru his transit in Aquarius. Saturn is also looking at the 10^th which is sure to take some of the joy from your occupation especially when the moon goes full in Leo late February.

Rahu can also bring some desire into the 2^nd house which suggests a phase of gathering, collecting and saving; or at least the appearance of having done so. Rahu is always much more concerned with appearance than actual substance, though he does not deny accumulation of substance either. Rahu’s look at the 6^th house will be driving the lower ego to be more challenging. It’s this 9^th look on the 6^th house that competes for a place in tenth house. Since Rahu is in the 10^th house, the 2^nd and 6^th work to improve his 10^th house standing. Perhaps trying to show a successful face to the world thru 2^nd house and competing thru 6^th house in order to gain in public recognition.

Aquarius 4^th house with Ketu (Conjunct Sun mid-February to mid-March, Eclipse March 6^th. New moon on March 9^th will have Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, & Ketu all conjunct in the 4^th house.)

Ketu will be in the 4^th house, transforming ones sense of home. But Ketu doesn’t work for change with the same intensity as Rahu; Ketu rather fills a person with ennui so that change comes thru a feeling of familiarity and already having known and done that. Ketu often shoes us the lessons we’ve already learned and have no interest in repeating. But he still cuts our ties to things in his own subtle way, especially when he’s associated with the Sun, who he will be eclipsing in early March, and Mars who will be looking at the 4^th house from his powerful transit thru 1^st house Scorpio. Changes could also come sudden to 4^th house in a transformation way that leaves one unable to go back to the way things used to be.

Ketu affects the Moksha – Liberation trine here which could limit your peace of mind as you struggle and compete for Rahu’s indications. It might not be a great time for “letting go” since you’re likely to feel as though you’ve already experienced that path. Mars and Ket will also be looking at the 8^th house of Gemini, and when Mercury conjoins Ketu in early March, one could experience some sudden events in the home and/or in ones emotional being. With Ketu’s involvement it’s possible you might accept these changes without being disturbed by them so much and Ketu can repress or negate ones emotional life. Ketu, like Rahu, can often give an appearance without the inner substance, so watch for insincere outpourings of emotion as well. Ketu’s 9^th look at the 12^th house can open up the dream world or at least give the impression that he has entered that world, but again, with been-there-done-that kind of attitude.

Saturn conjunct Mars in 1^st house Scorpio

Saturn is seeking to limit the personality, dry it out and make one seem a little dry and uninteresting, perhaps a little reserved and traditional. His transit through a person ascendant often makes people appear older than they actually are (at least for the period of transit). Mars will be in his own house when he conjoins Saturn which will of course energize the personality, and perhaps his conflict with Saturn will add some mystique (Scorpio) qualities to ones personality at this time. Saturn’s 3^rd look will help to give durable effort and could add a touch of duty to ones efforts. It’s also a good time to focus some effort on ones own self health since first house signifies these things as does the 6^th house which is ruled by Mars who is also in the first house. Saturn and Mars are both looking at the 7^th house which is sure to have a frustrating effect to trade, relationships, partnerships and other such things that people come together in agreement. Saturn’s 10^th look will make you work hard in the tenth house things and could delay or change advancement of recognition from 10^th house. This aspect will certainly make you work for what you want. This is one of the ways that Saturn shows us the things we really want. Thru failure we discover very quickly if we have the determination to try again for what we really want.

Note:For Aries people and countries, the time around the full moon on February 24^th and the solar eclipse on March 9^th 2016 could be especially difficult. I think it’s fair to say that we can expect a major world event to take place around this time, perhaps a kind of one two punch that could have significant effects effects throughout the world.

Rahu 5^th house Leo

Rahu enters the 5^th house of creation and intellect. You will want to be recognized for your creative capacity and productivity. The fact that Rahu does not necessarily deserve recognition is how problems will arise. Rahu’s desire does not always match his capacity; he want’s too much so he’ll break the rules to get it. By this token he very well might get the recognition he wants, but he will always suffer for it in some way. Be careful with acting like a dirty politician or a poor sport. With the sun six houses away at the time Rahu moves into 5^th house Leo, disruption in your productive capacity is sure to be disturbed, especially late January early February, but possibly until mid-april when the sun once again enters Aries and finds a strong seat.

Rahu’s look at your 9^th house can cloud your belief system for the next 18 months. You could change your beliefs in order to rationalize some behaviour, or perhaps merely be a hypocrite. His look at your 1^st house could add a bit of dirtiness to your personality, perhaps affecting your health as well. Watch for fevers and wounds, maybe a bit of mental confusion or intellectual error that could cause you to go astray.

Ketu in 11^th house Aquarius

Ketu will have a restrictive or negating influence on friendships and gains. Old friendships could be lost while new ones from unlikely places emerge. This will certainly affect 3^rd house networking and 7^th house of partnerships and contracts. Desire’s could be restricted since Ketu is sitting in and looking at the Kama triangle (houses of desire). This could have a spiritualizing influence on Aries people, or it could mean that they just have bigger worries. When Mars goes into direct aspect of Ketu in February before moving into Scorpio to give Ketu and sun his 4th aspect, it could signify an explosive situation regarding partnerships and contracts which will certainly affect the 11th house of gains.

Mars in Scorpio (February 20 – June 17, 2016)

Mars’ entry into 8^th house Scorpio , though generally positive, is likely to cause some frustration to Saturn who is powerfully advanced in the house. The hardest effect might be felt in the second house receiving the aspects of Saturn and Mars ( malefic and mutual enemies): it could be a very difficult time for savings accounts and other liquid assets. Mar’s look on Sun and Ketu together will bring a lot of heat into the 11th house. Hopes and gains could suddenly be lost; friendships could come to an end. By the rather poor condition of the three houses aspected by Mars (the 11th, 2nd, and 3rd), there is likely to be difficulties with communication, reaching out and moving forward.Mars – Saturn conjunction in the 8th house certainly points to some secret or sudden activity that could be the source of great changes. Since Mars will be in his own house, it’s likely he’ll be able to restore order and perhaps champion us towards positive change. Mars is likely to cause Saturn to worry about his 10th house signification, namely occupation, but this should remain strong; labour is always needed.

Jupiter – Rahu conjunction in Leo 5^th house

Jupiter may not have the power to confer his blessing on Rahu or the 5^th house since he is retrograde (January 7- May 9, 2016) and just a few degrees in front or Rahu. My impression is that he is being chased by the enemy, outcaste planet Rahu even in the house of the Sun (5^th house Leo). It seems a little disgraceful to me but I’m not certain how to take it. Jupiter will surely get retribution when he turns direct and conjuncts Rahu at the end of June 2016 before moving on to Virgo. Jupiter will once again be free of Guru Chandal yoga limiting his blessings.
