June 21 transits

June 21 Eclipse in Gemini will have significant effects on media and communication. It will be occurring in Mrigrashira nakshatra, but very quickly after crossing the Sun, the moon will go into Ardra nakshatra. Both of these nakshatra relate to research in slightly different ways. It’s the part of the story where the inebriating quest for satisfaction is sought in the material world where it meets with disappointment, frustration and sorrow.

Dark moon is always a time of diminished sensitivity, but with Rahu it can pervert the mind, heighten fears and phobias and mask the true intentions. With Sun in this house, truth can become skewed and people may feel a false sense of power. With Mercury, I expect the emotional rhetoric to increase dramatically for the few days around the eclipse. With the warrior Mars aspecting from Pisces the rhetoric will be especially aggressive and there is likely to be much talk of war.

The path of the eclipse is through Congo, Ethiopia, Yemen, Pakistan, North India and across a good partition of China and Taiwan. This could be especially deadly in North India where 20 Indian soldiers were recently killed in what can only be described as a brawl with their Chinese counterparts of the remote border region. And Yemen has been under siege for so long that anything could happen there. And China, including Taiwan, have their own problems which are not so different from what we see going on in Seattle these days with the autonomous zone.

Gemini rules over the arms: not just the arms of the body, but also the armaments of nations and the weapons we possess. This is an interesting point because it suggests how words are weapons, and how media rhetoric and information technology play into the struggles and obstacles we face. We have seen numerous unconventional weapons since Rahu came into Gemini; much of which would be in the form of propaganda, but we have also been hearing about lasers and “super duper” fast missiles. Sun and Mars will be affecting Rahu giving powerful effects to the force of unconventional arms.

Gemini is the sign of groups, teams, gangs, associates, and essentially tribalism. We have seen this great fascination with tribalism over the past couple of years as society drifts away from the notion of the sovereign individual. The current BLM movement has certainly exacerbated the divide between whites and blacks (while ignoring the reality that most of the world falls somewhere in between the two), the fascists and the anti-fascists (while ignoring the fanatical extremism on both sides). There is a tendency for the media to lump people into groups and judge people based on their group identity rather than their individual identity or actions. Again, the Mars aspect here can easily devolve into tribal warfare. (You’ll notice that I even just lumped the media together as a tribe before I made my allegations even though I am arguably taking part in the media myself by writing this.)

Gemini is also the 6th sign from Capricorn suggesting the obstacles we face as leaders as well as the obstacles faced by governments. This is why something as simple as free speech is so important and so contentious: it’s the enemy of the government. And as an interesting twist, Gemini is also the 10th sign from Virgo which suggests some connection with the leader of the enemy. So we end up with these masked rogue leaders in the USA and plenty to suggest that it’s not organic as it seems. I have been saying for months that nothing is as it seems. This is the Rahu effect in Gemini.

The loss of cultural grounding that we get in Cancer is lost in Gemini. Where Cancer brings people together out of a sense of shared values and national identity, Gemini (tribalism) works together with(7th from) Sagittarius (globalism) for the destruction of the natural rhythms, home comforts, culture, and boundaries. The more direct effects of the eclipse are usually only felt for a few days before and after so it’s possible we will get some growing expressions of nationalism by the 23rd or so.

If it was a human chart I was looking at with the Aries ascendant, I would likely diagnose them with hyperthyroidism in the eclipse chart.

Mars in Pisces brings with it a kind of repressed anger that comes out through as aggressive communication. It causes one’s enemies to also be more aggressive, and fights with partners and generally unruly negotiations. It brings a kind of passive aggressiveness that infuriates everyone around. It should be noted that Saturn is also aspecting Mars which will increase the inner sense of frustration. This can also bring some tension at sea that will last for the duration of this aspect.

This Mars Saturn tension is also affecting agreements and negotiations with their aspect on Libra along with Rahu. This Mars influence will likely be the final straw for many agreements and partnerships as each party begins to assert themselves. Rahu has been aspecting this sign for about a year now so many of these negotiations have not been in good faith anyways.

Mars in Pisces can also increase that activity at night, fighting going on behind the scenes and fighting in foreign lands due to a kind of subconscious aggression. Some might say that the ancestral spirits want to express themselves in an aggressive way.

The good news is that Jupiter also has an aspect on Virgo which should allow diplomacy to avert all out war, but the smaller tribal wars like we see in the USA right now are likely to experience heightened intensity for only a few days.

Jupiter and Venus are still giving effects in Taurus which will continue to be good for the bankers. Though inflation is also possible due to these two powerful benefics increasing the value of stored resources while mercury, who is the Money itself is corrupted by Rahu and burnt out by the two fiery planets.

Eclipses are a good time for Tantra and occult sadhana for those who are prepared to face their shadows with compassion. It’s a very good time to distinguish ourselves and others as individuals rather than as members of the group. It’s also a good time to take action to overcome our obstacles, illnesses and enemies. Mantra meditations can be especially potent with Leo’s ruler in Gemini. Gemini shows what we gain from Mantra. The value of fixed assets can grow in this time. Research, secret knowledge and revolution will all feel some appreciation from Venus aspect, but since Mars, the ruler of Scorpio, is in Pisces it might be difficult to actualize, though there can be unexpected gains none-the-less. Active meditation, commonly done through walking or yoga can have special benefits as well.

This eclipse seems to me to signal the end of six months of Kal Sharpa. The illuminator of truth is finally coming out of the grasp of the shadows. Much of the confusion of the first half of this year should begin to become more clear. But we also have to be open to the idea that we may have been wrong about some things over the first part of the year. This is crucial for personal growth. Allow reason to keep your intuition in check while simultaneously allowing your intuition to keep your reason in check. Allow them to meet in the middle without giving primacy to either.

Good luck

Prana: The Most Essential Quality

What is Prana-Vayu?

We should distinguish between “prana” and the “prana-vayus.” “Prana” is life force; the “prana-vayus” describes the way that prana moves in the body. Prana is life force or vital essence; the vayus are the winds. Yogi’s seek to draw panic life force into the body  and retain it; using it only for achieving the goal of union with god. The Ayurvedic perspectives seeks to keep the channels open and the energy moving. Of course there is a lot of overlap between these two projects; but the difference is notable. Prana is movement so Ayurveda considers the way things move. Most of our physical life force is maintained through intake of food, water, and air. In other ways we get power for praise or accomplishment, overcoming challenges, winning competitions, and sacrifice when properly carried out. We can gather a kind of false prana thru insincere praise, unearned advancement, pretentious sacrifice and any number of ways including using drugs or alcohol and other addictive and temporary “uppers.” These kinds of pranic increases are short and can be fatal in the end.

Prana represents the two elements space & air. It can be incredibly fickle. Yoga teachers talk about inhaling or increasing prana, but few warn about the dangers of unnecessarily leaking our prana out all over the place as we promote our “spiritual practice” and pretentiously signal our virtues. The Buddhist Diamond Sutra warns about seeking merit through mercurous deeds; merit or life force is only increased when the good deed in spontaneous.

The prana vayus are said to move between the heavens and the earth. The vayus are the vehicle of lord Rudra and his Maruts. This is why we visualise the movement of breath from heart centre to the 12 finger space above the head.

Ayurveda offers us five prana vayus which we can also use as visualisation tools for meditation. We can become very sensitive and aware of the body by practicing visualisation along with our pranayama.

5  Prana Vayus:

    1. Prana: Represented by the Sun. Rules over respiration and sensory perception. It’s produced in the chest or heart. It typically moves inward and upward. Prana is emission, like when we exhale, our vital force goes out through our breath. When we use our senses energy is used to illuminate the world much like the Sun illuminates the world. If we look at a pretty girl we give energy to her and lose a bit of our own. If we listen to gossip we waste our energy. Whenever we project our thoughts or words or actions into the world we lose energy. When we turn all our awareness inward we illuminate the heavens and are gifted with true energy.

Pranayama is one of the best ways of building our life force. Pranayama can be understood in different ways. Some say that it’s prana + ayama and others say it’s prana + yama. On one hand pranayama brings life, power and vitality to the body and the senses; on the other hand, we can practice pranayama in order to still the senses and slow all the vital functions to preserve energy and ultimately ride the breath to heaven leaving the duality of earthly existence behind, (Incidentally, it seems there must also be some connection with pranayama and Bharani nakshatra since it is ruled by Yama.) Prana brings warmth and movement to whatever is inert, lifeless and dead. Yama drains the live force and makes things inert, motionless and dead. The senses do not reach out for satisfaction, they become motionless as we life without desire or attachment. We become dead as individuals or distinct beings, and we come alive to universal flow and consciousness.

When we exhale prana, that life force which was given to us by god, reaches out to the world through our senses to colour and flavour the objects with whatever flavour we might crave; whatever we have inside of ourselves at the moment reaches out to the world to create a counterpart. When we inhale and bring back all of that sensory material we generally forget that we have just created it, so we react. We forget that we always get back what we give. As long as we have forgotten this fundamental rule we will suffer from our karma; once we learn it, life becomes a spontaneous play whatever might be your circumstances.

“The vital breath is essentially a state of consciousness which manifests as the movement of two breaths; prana and apana (exhale and inhale).”

This is a major theme of Tantra: that one thing appears to be two separate things; or, as is the case in waking life, as a multiplicity of distinct objects. As we look at things more and more closely and understand them for their subtleties rather than accepting them at face value, they begin to merge together as though they were never separate. As it says in the Stanzas on Vibration:

“Whatever else may exist apart from you, if subjected to sound reflection, simply disappears like the fables palace of celestial musicians and you alone, changeless remain….” Stanza 10 goes on to say that , “then the soul realises that his true nature (dharma) is universal agency and perceiving subjectivity, and so he knows and does whatever he desires.”  ~Stanzas on Vibration~

In yoga we often talk about the body, mind and soul. We can think of this as three worlds or three layers of our being. The prana lives in the intermediate region of the mind, in our highest intelligence, but prana moves between heaven and earth; the soul and the body; the subject and the object. It’s through the prana vayus that we are connected with everything. Vayu is Air and Ether, which allows it to pervade and move between all 36 tattva. Tantra associates the prana vayu with the right pingala nadi.

The prana vayus are known as the vehicle of Rudra, an ancient name for lord Shiva that means “the Howler.” Rudra is known as the “Lord of Beasts.” He is often associated with the 11 Maruts which signifies his rulership of the mind and the 10 indriyas (5 sensory and 5 motor functions). Rudra and the Maruts are said to ride upon the vayu.

Prana is the expression of our life force which penetrates the world and forever leaves our mark upon it (which will come back to us again through the 5 fold cycle of the vayus). Prana also represents what we give to the world. It’s said that people who belong to traditional cultures will begin a deep breath with an exhalation whereas modern people are much more likely to inhale straight away when told to take a deep breath. It’s the difference between giving to the world first before expecting rewards, and asking for the world to give to you before you’ll give anything to the world. The second modern perspective is, of course, an unhealthy aberration.

  1. Apaana: Represented by the Moon. In Ayurveda it’s the downward movement that aids in urination and elimination. Tantra associates apaana with the left Ida nadi channel of the kundalini.
  2. Samaana: They call it the equinox; “the equalising breath.” Ayurveda describes the movements as spinning inward towards a centre point. This is the energy of digestion, assimilation and meditation. It purifies things to their essence. Most of this activity takes place in the navel region and it’s related to the element of fire. It’s said that in the waking and dream state, prana-apana is active, however in states of deep-sleep samaana balances the inhalation and exhalation.
  3. Udaana: The Ascending breath. This is the central channel; the sushumna. This is the upwards rising force. Most of its action takes place in the head (though others include all the extremities of the body. According to Ayurveda, it also moves outwards to produce speech and any kind of coordinated activity, including that of the five senses.
  4. Vyaana: Expands in all directions radiating outward from the navel Often considered the nadis energy system similar to the meridians of Chinese Medicine that provide nutrients and energy to the whole body. This is a windy airy quality to it and some say that it doesn’t live in any particular place in the body, but rather pervades every part. This is the most etheric of the Vayus.

To this list should be mentioned the other five vayu’s for the sense of mystery evoked by them since they seemed to have been forgotten by history other than a few esoteric mentions. 1.Naga: releases energy that is stuck by causing us to burp, vomit, hiccup… 2. Kurma: related with winking and blinking. 3. Krikala: induces sneezing to clear the blockages in the respiratory system. 4. Devdatta: yawning. 5. Dhananjaya: regulates the opening and closing of the heart valves and controls the fragmentation of a body after death.

Prana Vayu: the most essential function

Once upon a time all of the organs and functions of the body got into a debate about who was most essential. Many were praising the way the skeletal system gave shape and standing to the body, or how the blood carries nutrients to maintain the body, others marvelled the how the heart pumped blood and how the lung found it’s own way to pump air, then prana-vayu came along and everyone silent, for they knew that without the warmth of prana and the movement of the vayus that all life would stop. The hearth would not beat, the blood would pool and go stagnant, and the breath stops; the body becomes cold and inert.

Shiva: the most essential

Once upon a time, the Gods entered into a timeless argument over who was most powerful and essential for the functioning of life and this universe. Shiva happened to be moving about rather than sitting peacefully upon the peak of Mount Kailash. Something always seemed to be happening whenever Shiva was moving about. Then Shiva came across this childish argument and sought to quell it by simply pointing out that none were as powerful as him and they should all just go home and forget this pettiness. Of course some of the big gods who were standing around took offence to this, namely Brahma, the creator, and Vishnu, the preserver. To their protests, Shiva merely revealed his true form as a mystical shaft (lingam) of light (jyoti) and said, “see if you can find where I end.”

The two who remained standing laughed at the challenge and quickly set off in opposite directions to find Shiva’s loose ends and bring the argument to a close. Truth is that because of Shiva’s filthy appearance, they would all be happy to bring his pride down a notch or two. But after eons searching through the vastness of Shiva’s light they finally decided to meet back in Kashi where it all began. When they got here, Vishnu immediately fell to his feet to offer his most respectful pranam to Shiva. But Brahma, who, despite his capacity for creation, has no eye for consequences, lied and said that he had found an end. It was just over the horizon not so far and it had only taken so long to return because he had decided to rest there for a while and fell asleep. Brahma had meanwhile made a deal with the Ketaki flower to tell a lie about finding the end of Shiva.

Almost nothing enrages Shiva more than arrogance, false pride, egoism and lies; so from this instigation (or was it a deliberate provocation) all of Shiva’s most fearsome aspects rose to the surface and with an upsurge of impulse he took the form of Bhairava and chopped off one of Brahma’s five heads. The greatest crimes in India are those that go against pure knowledge and wisdom; they call this killing a Brahmin. Even the Gods are subject to karma so this fierce Bhairava form of Shiva became Aghore and took up the skull and walked to four corners of India as a form of tapashia and renunciation of his life. This is the version of Shiva most emulated by modern naga babas and Aghores: naked, fearsome to behold, covered in the ashes of the funeral pyre from the cremation grounds where they often make their home. Every part of his external image brings fear and revulsion. But if we take the time to get to know a true aghore we will get to know and overcome our own fears. For that’s the social role of the Aghore, to show us that this is the worst it can get; this is our greatest fear; but actually, it’s not so bad.

After 12 years of wandering like this, Bhairava returned to Kashi, and not far from the train station washed himself in a small pond. All of his impurities (malas) dropped away, along with the skull which had been his companion for the past 12 years. He once again brought balance to the three gunas within himself, overcoming their excess and deficiencies, freeing himself from the wheel of time and the cycle of cause and effect. In short, even the most fearsome evil was able to overcome the inner turmoil of self and social recrimination and realise himself as that same light of the universe that is in all things without distinction of good or bad or any of the other opposites.

Aries

Jupiter’s exaltation in your 4th house of home is creating some expansion of your home environment. This could be anything from home renovation to bringing a child into the home, or perhaps even a new roommate. Ketu’s look at the 4th house could support some uncommon occurrences in the home; some of which could keep the home expansion in check and restrict your expenditures. Jupiter will also be adding certain kind of respectability to your expenses; but your ego could also be heavily influencing where you are putting your time, money and energy.

It could be a difficult year for health with Saturn in your 8th house and Rahu in the 6th. Rahu could bring some acute illnesses, but he could also drive you to learn about and improve your health. Saturn may provide some incentive by giving you some fear that the relatively minor illnesses of gifted by Rahu cold turn into something more chronic. And we’re human, so this is always a possibility. Take care of your health, especially after Jupiter takes his benevolent look away from Saturn and your 8th and 12th houses in July.

2015 Transit indications for finance are not great for Aries and you could be facing some unexpected tasks at work that could mean working longer hours. Although these extra hours might not translate into extra pay, you might enjoy the work and receive some other kind of recognition. After Jupiter moves to Leo in July, you could experience some gain in wealth and/or knowledge.

Emotionally, the first half of 2015 should be accompanied by a happy feeling of contentment and satisfaction. You might even get on peoples nerves with your emotional self-satisfaction, especially since this feeling will be accompanied by some mental tension concerning your health and long-term security. After July it’s likely you’ll see yourself come back down to earth emotionally from some kind of learning or knowledge you will collect.

Despite the difficulties and tensions you will be facing, all of 2015 should be a lucky year for you. Your luck will be served by your emotions in the first half of the year while your mind will be lucky for you in the second half.

Taurus

Your efforts will bear uncommon fruit. Look for some kind of spiritual metaphysical gain rather than hard currency, though with exalted Jupiter looking at his own 11th house it’s a good time for wealth too; especially the period before Jupiter makes his move in July. In the first half of the year, Jupiter will be expanding your efforts in unique and noble areas, but excessive pride from these efforts is also likely.

Saturn in your 7th house could be centering your fears around your relationships these days. This could cause you to question your path and yourself. Some friction in the home is also possibility. When Jupiter moves to Leo in July, some illness to your partner is a possibility. However with Jupiter moving into your 4th house, your home could be seeing some expansion, which could indicate children, but it could just as easily indicate some new ritual that is brought into the home.

Rahu will influence indulgent risk taking (gambling and love affairs and such), but it’s not a good time for gain from such things. Your mind will be feeling sharp and you’ll grasp things quickly and move on to the next. It’s up to you where you direct your mind. This could function as mental acumen or stress which cold have either positive or negative effect on your luck and personality.

Rahu and Saturn combined aspect on your ascendant in 2015 could cause some ailments which will arise with the movement of Venus as she makes her way to Scorpio by year’s end. If you have children, they could also be causing you some grief by their efforts.

Gemini

Jupiter is in an excellent position for long term prosperity, saving, land investment and such. Ketu is giving his unusual touch to this and his influence could mean you pick some new routine that ensures long health of body and mind. But some kind of long-term financial prosperity is likely until Jupiter moves to Leo in July; at which point you may begin to use this new prosperity to fun your efforts for even greater gain.

You might feel like you’re wasting your money on your home right now. Perhaps rent is too high or tedious repairs are adding up. It’s likely everyone in the home is busy these days returning only for pragmatic purposes. On the other hand, Rahu’s look at 8th and 12th house opens the possibility for foreign travel.

Saturn in your 6th house means you have to watch out for small illnesses, which could hamper your health, especially after July when Jupiter takes his look away from Saturn. Some wasteful spending is also indicated this year by Saturn’s look at your 12th house.

Jupiter’s exaltation might cause you to idealize your partner and all of 2015 should be a good year for love and business partnerships if they can measure up to your ideal.

Cancer

With Jupiter exalted in your sign the only thing you have to watch out for is your own inflated ego. Jupiter is an excellent position to show off your personality. Ketu’s look at your first house could add a touch of uniqueness to your personality, or he could restrict the natural expression of your personality. Your luck and your mind will also be experiencing the benefits of Jupiter’s location in your chart for the first half of the year.

After Jupiter moves into Leo, he’ll begin to give some positive influence to your savings and long-term investments. Your career should also see a boost, along with your health. All of 2015 is a good period to focus on eating healthier.

Ketu in your 9th house with Jupiter’s look in the first half of the year could set you on an uncommon path in life. Some unusual spirituality could also come up in this period.

Saturn could be interfering with your long term prosperity for now, but when Jupiter moves into your 2nd house these issues will mostly fade away in the broader perspective, though Saturn will continue to disturb your gains. Rahu could act as a counter balance in this regard, but gains and acquaintances will likely come from the wrong side of the tracks. It could be a difficult period for your mother, your children, and your younger brother.

Rahu will be making it hard to focus your efforts this month. You could be starting things without finishing them, or merely spreading your effort so thin that nothing gets accomplished. If Rahu is positive for your chart or you’re in a positive dasha period Rahu could help you complete the multitude of effort and bring very nice gain.

Leo

With Jupiter exalted in your 12th house until July, you may be feeling rather generous in gifting your time and/or money to charities or some cause you believe in. Ketu’s look on Jupiter is likely to add a touch of the unusual to whichever cause you choose to support. This same unusual effect of Ketu will be affecting your secret hobbies; your guilty pleasure will likely turn a little strange this year, but I wont tell anyone if you don’t. By Jupiter it’s likely that you will become involved with what is foreign to you (this could happen in your own country, or you could go somewhere for the experience) The second half of the year indicates some kind of pilgrimage travel.

Saturn will be having a negative effect on your home and home-happiness, which will be noticeable in your personality to those who know you. Jupiter will hold things together with his watchful eye until he moves in July, but be prepared for a bit of a bumpy ride in your home life for the second half of the year. If Saturn, Mars or the moon is negatively affected but strong in your chart this year, you could experience some fear and sadness.

The good news is that Jupiter’s entrance into Leo in July will open the doors for better luck, broader thinking, and a more congenial personality. Life will certainly feel better. As karaka for wealth he will be causing some disturbance to your own bottom-line during his stay in your 12th house. After July, expenditure should go down allowing you to better accumulate wealth. Saturn and Rahu will both be influencing long hours and hard work. Some chance of a career change is also possible this year.

Virgo

Jupiter in your 11th house for the first part of the year should bring in some nice gain in fame, or knowledge, or even money depending on your own ideals. This gain is likely to come by way of your home and from pursuing your own deeper happiness. Some unusual relationship will also be influencing this gain. After Jupiter moves to your 12th house on July 22, you will experience an increase in your expenditure. It could be just the tax-man knocking for his share or you could be feeling charitable. In any case, your spending could be increasing your ego. Saturn could be providing the discipline to reign in your expenditures, but try to save something for a rainy day.

You could be a little lazy and contrary in your physical efforts while perhaps finding the dedication to continue with your longer term creative efforts in a stoic sort of way. It could a good year for meditation, but depending on your chart (on your own personality) you could feel some mental stagnancy.

You could face some problems with your father in 2015 and with your younger brother in the second half of the year. Your partner could be picking up some strange habits, and if you’re just starting out in a new relationship people could be laughing a little at your choice; by the end of July you may start understanding why.

You could find yourself becoming quite indulgent in the second half of the year; some criminal tendencies could arise. You need to be careful as your luck is also not so good. It should generally be a good year for your mother and older brother.

Libra

The first half of the year will be difficult financially gains will be less and even saving could go down while expenses are high. The good news is that it’s unlikely you will go into debt and some and your biggest expense could be the paying off of your debt. When Jupiter moves to Leo in the second half of the year, your gains are likely to improve, but you have to be careful that you are not increasing your income by increasing you debt again. Jupiter’s position in your 10th house in the first part of the year could get you a promotion or some other agreeable position of influence. The expanded duties could come with some benefits for long term security but it’s unlikely to be accompanied by a raise.

Be careful of colds and flus that are going around as you may be susceptible this year; especially for illnesses affecting the nasal and the stomach. In the second half of the year, there’s also some chance of an accident to your foot depending on the situation of Ketu and Jupiter in your chart; it might also be a good time to visit the dentist as Saturn could affect your teeth.

It could be a good year to make contact with older people of influence. And amongst your peers, you may take some classes for to improve your health (Ketu’s influence in your 6th house will attract you to holistic and alternative methods) or to rise in your occupation. And if you already have high position in your occupation, it’s a good year for teaching what you know.

Scorpio

Saturn could be afflicting your health, especially your knees, but you should take care of all the joints of your body these days. Some stomach problems are also likely to come up. Saturn’s influence in your first house could cause you to restrict your personality somehow. Perhaps you’ll go out a little less, or merely keep silent if you are out. Scorpios need to be aware of their partners (romantic liaisons, marriage and business partners) as all the houses in this regard are afflicted. The 7th house has Rahu and Saturn looking at it which could cause some illness to your partners. These same two planets have your 12th house hemmed in giving a negative effect to your night-time pleasures which includes everything from sex to sleep and other secrets of the night. Jupiter could however be giving you an indulgent sense of romance which could either be offset by Ketu’s constrictive nature or heightened by his strangeness.

Jupiter is in a very good place for pilgrimage travel until July. He will also be adding a bit of a golden touch to your effort which is being sustained by Jupiter. The whole year will be a good for making effort to do the things you want to do, and until July you can expect a bit of mind-expanding influence as well. After July Jupiter will move into Scorpio’s 10th house creating a big expansion of your occupation. Perhaps some training duties or some other noble task will come your way. In any case, you should see a rise in your ling term wealth and prosperity in 2015.

Ketu could be giving your some strange ideas this year; others will find it especially strange that you don’t even recognize the strangeness. This will reflect on your personality. Rahu should be happy in the 11th house of gains since he’s happy with almost everything.

Sagittarius

Jupiter is in an excellent position for overseas travel, but it could relate poorly to your personality. Some unexpected money could also come your way in the first part of the year. Jupiter will still be in a very good position when he moves to Leo in July. Travel is still highlighted by this Jupiter, and though you could remain far from home, you may not be going overseas.

Saturn in your 12th house could be a wasteful time. Your actions (and even purchases) will likely cost much more than you expect. Although you can enjoy your time and travels by Jupiter, Saturn is warning against travelling to anywhere too foreign.

You may find your time well occupied with several different jobs going on at the same time. It could be a good time to take a service job to provide a little extra security. Ketu on the other hand could be restricting your enjoyment of all this activity. In any case, it will leave you question the result.

Capricorn

Jupiter is in an excellent position for you partner, wife/husband, business partner and other such people; but since Jupiter is looking at your 11th house, he could provide some gain for you as well. After Jupiter moves to Leo in July, it could become more the case that these people fund your expenditures than directly afford you gain. Jupiter will also be expanding your desires while Ketu adds his unusual touch to your efforts. Since Jupiter in also looking at your 1st house, he could also cause some friction between you and your partner since Jupiter and Saturn are not friends. On the other hand, this look could help you see a general rise in status.

Saturn in your 11th house cold have you trying to achieve wickedly materialistic hopes this year, and though you could make some progress in the first half of the year, once Jupiter takes his eye off this house you could find yourself facing disappointment. With Rahu and Saturn both looking at your 5th house you could find your creative productivity in a slump. Lack of inspiration could result.

Rahu will be adding some mystery to your personality as well as your mind. Even friends may question if they have you figured out as they thought. Some bad luck could come about in a way that forces you to believe in the occult and perhaps even seek remedies from this field.

Aquarius

Rahu will be influencing a strong interest in astrology and the occult, overseas travel and pretty much anything foreign. With Saturn in your 10th house disturbing your occupation as well as your reputation, and the two of them (Rahu and Saturn) looking at your 4th house, it’s a very good time to travel. Changing jobs is also a possibility; especially in the second half of the year. The good news is that there is a very good chance of gain as well as long-term prosperity from a partnership of group activities in the second part of the year.

Saturn’s disruption of your public profile could reflect in your home and partnership as well as your expenditure. Saturn often forces us to consider the strength of our commitments. Often times it’s a question of following our duty or following our heart, and although the virtues of the heart path are widely extoled, neither path is really any better than the other.

Jupiter in your sixth house could be giving you an interest in learning about your health or otherwise using knowledge to defeat your enemies. Long term gain from this action is to be expected. You could be following unusual eating habits this year as well; perhaps trying out different diets as you seek better health.

Pisces

Jupiter is in an excellent position for student of anyone trying to expand his or her mind. Ketu look on Jupiter in the 5th house could stimulate some very unique thinking, but there’s some chance in this new way of thinking becoming a little too unique in the second half of the year. Some health problems in the first part of the year could cause you to seek a solution in the second half of the year. You could also start feeling forced to do service which is below you after July.

And don’t be surprised if people find your personality a little strange after July, chance could bing some strange circumstances for you to deal with, and along with the broad mind you will be sporting the first half of the year, the second half of the year could prove interesting for Pisces. Ketu could bring in some new age touch to your personality, but you have to be careful of the excesses desire being provided by Rahu.

Saturn can bring you some expenditure by bad luck, but also provide some gain through hard luck. You have to watch out for making some dirty effort for material gain; you could find yourself tempted (perhaps by a co-conspirator). You could face issues with your father of coworkers.

End note: Once again I would like to highlight the inaccuracies of these general horoscopes. I have not taken retrograde motion, degree, nakshatra or many other things that affect the transits into account in these horoscopes. Even in regards to sign placement, conjunction, and aspect, which I have begun accounting for in these horoscopes, my descriptions are far from exhaustive in regards to the possibilities. When we further consider that I have not taken your personal chart into consideration at all, we can consider these horoscopes to be little more than good fun; perhaps just an introduction. In any case, if you’re interested in getting more serious about astrology, please let me know. And of course if you have any questions or comments feel free to post them or address me thru e-mail.
