If both karaka and 7th lord are weak the native may only dream of marriage but never marry. The natives wife may hail from a servant family. He will be close fisted and generally poor.”

Commentary: This is not a good position for partnerships or marriage and partners will always be distant and mostly a drain on your resources. They can however help with private getaways, foreign travel, and seclusion. Both partners typically have a strong need for privacy in the marriage and the terms of contract. Often times they just come together for one point, which certainly eludes to sex, but it could be anything; other than that one topic they don’t really have any further business with each other. They might use partnerships as a means of emotional escape, possibly with someone of a foreign culture and different ideology. They will enjoy getting away with their partners, private affairs, secret deals, backroom negotiations. They are typically very private people. All their partnering activity, deal making, and trusts fade into the background of their lives. They are not visible components of who they are; which typically makes them appear as independent actors. Spouses might identify as a hurt, exploited, marginalised person who is not good enough for the native; possibly causing them to wall themselves off from the relationship, or initiate divorce proceedings or lawsuits. The more power there is in the 12th house, the greater the losses will be for the native. One is likely to replace actual knowledge of their life partner with imagination and fantasies and conduct the relationship based entirely on subconscious projection. This creates and cycle emotional abuse and conflict followed by nourishing and comforting bedroom behaviours.
