Rahu in Revati brings dreams alive. Escapists, expats, exiles, dreamy nature, fascinated by other worlds, good psychic ability, innovative but a bit ‘out-there.’ They have a fascination for the other side of the great ocean, making the cross-over. The duality of this placement makes them masters of disguise or imitation, character actors like Jeff Bridges who can easily take on different roles; travellers who adjust to different cultures. They do not usually have good boundaries between servants & service personnel and there might often be some kind of confusion, argument, or accusation that these folks can easily walk away from. They might not like drama, but they are often themselves the drama. They can pick up all kinds of different work, they are impartial. They can work or not work; meh. Again we might look at Jeff Bridges iconic role as the dude living in a bathrobe. There also seems to be a sense of always watching, perhaps even voyeurism, or merely bringing the bedroom attire into public. Seers and overseers whose job doesn’t really matter that much; and maybe they are watching, or they are themselves the eye candy (again, maybe like a foreign traveller who stands out. Or like Tamerlane overseeing the hoard. Rupert Murdoch is (or was) “the most watched” 24 hour news from around the world, satellites, phone & internet hacking. He’s watched because he’s watching.

Many expats “living the dream,” or exiled from their homes. Some kind of crossover almost seems to be going on in many of these charts; perhaps it’s the transcendent quality of Revati. The law may be a little blurry for them, cops blurring the lines, practically getting away with murder but also getting reprimanded for things they didn’t do. Strange or unusual crimes may surround the person, like Gillian Anderson’s X-Files or Carl Jung’s dream analysis they get unusual cases and problems to solve; out of this world; and they probably have an equally unusual approach to solving problems. Occasionally, like Tamerlane, their main method might be eradication, elimination, annihilation, alienation, abandonment, they might themselves be without papers or documents and may be practically refugees themselves, but one also wonders how they feel about such people.

They don’t have to go looking for trouble, it follows them around because they never really face it head on. It’s the same with work, it always finds them eventually; strange, random problems that they are suddenly called to fix in their own disinterested way. They usually have a high tolerance for imbalance, illness, addiction, criminal behaviour. It seems to support policing, doctoring, diagnostic or therapeutic abilities though this isn’t their focus. Their focus is Rahu in Revati, escape and maybe for a cop it’s all about putting the bad guys away.. It seems many of these natives go to great length to make sure others don’t get away. If they are not catching criminals they might be helping people by providing some kind of life-line connection between the universals and the particulars. As Tom Waits sings “Baby, you gotta hold on.” They often have an unusual sense of humour.

They can be a bit touchy feely without even noticing it themselves. Ketu brings his no boundaries to the hands which might seem to reach out on their own as they talk with their hands or communicate through touch. It’s good for finger dexterity generally, and by extension, for playing guitar and those kinds of things. Hand-held technology or perhaps just handsy, touchy, no sense of boundary or limit with their hands. We might expect Ketu to bring numbness, deadness, missing, discoloured, something strange and unique about the hand, fingers, wrist; some kind of anomaly, mark, or ability. Rahu on the other hand is likely to leave his mark on the abdomen, groin, or ankles though dysfunction, disability, unique of fascinating trouble, discolouration, or foreign substance or life form. Pope Clement lived through at least 5 major cholera epidemics.

A patchwork of false dreamy personalities & identities. They might non-the less inspire reverence for no particular reason since they don’t really do anything but give Dharshan; they see and are seen. The ‘other’ is just there to witness their transcendence. This leads to relatively random, vacuous relations with others and opens a potential for sexual fluidity; meaningless engagements with others, and informal handshake agreements. There seems to be something with “ha.”

Pope Clement XII (1652 – 1740): He was the first pope to condemn Free Masons, and raised funds with a public lottery. He governed over a surplus of funds which he spent on antiques and architectural building projects: a port connected to a highway going into the interior, a fountain, a few facades, he restored the Arch of Constantine, built roads, drained swamps, founded a library. Sent an emissary to the east to find manuscripts. He was blind and conducted all affairs from his bed with capable officials. He named five saints and beautified eight people. He died from complications related to gout.

Otto Von Habsburg (1912 – 2011): He was the last crown prince of Austria-Hungary from 1916 until the dissolution of the empire in November 1918. He was exiled in 1919 and grew up mostly in Spain, but he also lived in Switzerland, Madeira, Belgium, France, United States and finally in Bavaria (Germany) where he died in 2011. Having earlier been stateless, at the time of his death he was a citizen of or possessed passports from Germany, Austria, Hungary, Croatia, Spain and the Order of Malta. His son Carl was born just as the family left Hungary.

Robert Frank Borkenstein (1912 – 2002): Inventor of the breathalyser. A unique hand-held device the emphasises the exhalation: ‘ha.’

They travel all over the country, all over the world collecting stories. Many of them are tall tales, fishing stories. Maybe they like fish and seafood too, but certainly unusual foreign foods, an unusual diet. Storage areas might be noisy places (music, media, recordings) so many little things. A messy storehouse where things get lost, but they’re usually here somewhere; just buried under the junk. Rahu will increase feelings of indebtedness but not stop a person from taking more.

They are good story tellers, but maybe pulling your leg a little bit, technical manuals, how to books, tools, science and technology.

There tends to be a depreciation in value and values. They do not have proper family values, and they don’t honour their family lineage. They might misuse the family name and bring ultimate ruin to the family. They’re too materialistic hoarding in a sense, and their material nor their stories have lasting value. Like a technical manual, it quickly becomes outdated. If this happens to their food stores there could be stomach problems.

It is none-the-less very good position for having a great hoard at some point in life, but it could be a stampede and is not likely to last. They have a very strong hunger to accumulate, but they will over-reach their ability to hold onto it. Like Tamerlane grasping at things thinking in the mind that he has five fingers to hold onto it, but he doesn’t and looses his grip with only three.

This Rahu can also affect vision. Aquarius natives already suffer and bit of blurred edges due to Pisces in second house to I would suspect Rahu or Ketu here to bring blurriness, poor vision, and probably not great foresight.

Tamerlane: (1336 – 1405): He had a couple fingers missing on his right hand and certainly had a fascination with flocks and herds. His army itself was a hoard. Has some paralysis on one side of his body. Hip injury from being shot with an arrow when he was young.

Toni Morrison (1931 – 2019): In her acceptance speech she gave when receiving the Nobel Prize for literature, she told a story of an blind elder, the local wise person, mystified into a witch by the long people. Some cruel kids ask her if the bird in their hand is dead or alive. They are hoping to trip her up and take advantage of her blindness to make her look foolish. After some time, she answers: “I don’t know,” she says. “I don’t know whether the bird you are holding is dead or alive, but what I do know is that it is in your hands. It is in your hands.”

Discussing dreams. Their messaging might be just a bunch of noise, sermonising. They tend to have a bit of a dirty mentality that seems to always be trying to get something from a conversation. You know, smiling too much, giving insincere compliments, they are just a little bit too hungry.

William Shatner: Captain Kirk.

Tamerlane: Timur the Lame. Was born a poor Shepard, raised by a single mom, and became a great  Turkic-Mongol warlord. He grazed sheep and goats of the rich in exchange for food. He was also working in the blacksmith shop at a young age. He as visited in a dream and told to buy the blacksmith shop, though his family had no money. But the genie in the dream also told him where there was buried  treasure. Multi ethnic army, spies, propaganda to weaken the enemy. He was a petty thief as a child and ruled his empire in a similar manner.

Leaving their mark makes them feel like a part of a place. Like a traveller carving his initials in the wall on his way through. Pope Sixtus destroyed many antiquities as he sought to restore the prestige of the Vatican with his building projects. He ultimately angered the local populous with heavy taxation to pay for everything. I suspect that some of the boxers or fighters would like to leave their mark in more violent ways. Home life is not likely to be secure; it will be a false sense of security towards which they put much effort to be a part of the community; but the more effort they make, the less they feel like their a part of everything. Random service jobs, working in places marked by imbalance, lounge singer and piano man. Working with his hands.

Rupert Murdoch (1931 – … ): Owner of News Corp., Fox News, The Sun, Sky News, WSJ, the Times. Known as “Red Rupert” for his left wing politics. He is known for hacking, bribery, corruption

Friends with the enemy or opponent; odd friendships; many well wishers but few real friends. They may be quite close with many of those who provide service to them, perhaps going back to the same people that did as children and maintaining those old bonds. But again, they are not really friends, they are people who do things for the native.

Drives people forward with a fascination for crime and exploitation. They like to figure things out and put all the pieces together. Puzzle makers, astrologers, councillors, psychoanalysts, using the process of deduction; detectives, snoops. No sense of privacy for oneself or others; secrets get out and there may be a lack of shame. The private lives of random people.

Allan Pinkerton (1819- 1884): Started the Pinkerton Detective Agency, a private detective agency and precursor to the FBI and some of his counter-intelligence work during the Civil War was not unlike the CIA. He was born into barrel making, wooden casks and the like. He was an abolitionist and his home was a stop on the underground railroad. The whole detective thing started by accident when he was wandering the forest looking for wood for his business: he came across a gang of counterfeiters and went to the police. His insignia was a wide open eye with the caption “We never sleep.” Bob most accounts he wasn’t very good at his job, but he managed to make a reputation.

Patrice Alegre was basically abandoned as a child. He also experienced violence and sexual abuse. Dropped out of school young to take on a life of crime along with some handy-man work; which is how he began to enter the homes of the women he killed.

Leonard Nimoy; “Dr. Spock” (1931 – 2015) & William Shatner; “The Captain”(1931 – … ): certainly went on a fascinating voyage where no man has gone before. They were a little like intergalactic police officers though that part of the story tended to be understated. Dr. Spock also had some special powers, the simple touch on the neck that rendered people unconscious, and that thing he did with his finger to open the V in the middle fingers, keeping the pinky and ring fingers together.

“Space: the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Her ongoing mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life-forms and new civilisations; to boldly go where no one has gone before.” — Leonard Nemoy (Dr. Spock)

Tom Waits (1949 – … ): Used very specific details, names of peoples and places to create a broader atmosphere of being away in some strange place. There is strong break in the logical ordering of the details for poetic value. Lots of repetition used for emphasis.

“They hung a sign up in out town: ‘If you live it up, you won’t live it down,” So, she left Monte Rio, son, Just like a bullet leaves a gun…. Oh, you’ve got to hold on, hold on; Babe, you gotta hold on; Take my hand, I’m standing right here; You gotta hold on.” — Tom Waits

Clap Hands

Wine wine, Why the goose drank wine
And the monkey chewed tobacco on a streetcar line
Now the line broke and the monkey got choked
And they all went to heaven in a little row boat
Clap hands
Sane sane they’re all insane fireman’s blind the conductor’s lame
A Cincinnati jacket and a sad-luck dame
Hang out the window with a bottle full of rain
Clap hands; Oh clap hands; Oh clap hands; Well clap hands
I said dream, It’s a hundred bad dreams
Shine shine a Roosevelt dime
All the way to Baltimore, And running out of time
Salvation Army seemed to wind up in the hole
All went to heaven in a little row boat
Clap hands clap hands clap hands

Random arguments. High tolerance for imbalanced setting, argumentation, exploitation. Dream analysts, dream workers, escapists, retreat, going farther than any man has gone before. They might work in the loonie bin, the psych ward,

Carl Jung (1875 – 1961): Worked as a Research Scientist in a physiatrics hospital, was President of the International Psychoanalytical Association. He had a complex relationship with Freud. Individualisation, synchronicity, archetypes, dream analysis, collective unconscious. He recalls an event from his childhood when he saw a faintly luminous and indefinite figure coming from his mother’s room, with a head detached from the neck and floating in the air in front of the body. His mother saw spirits and spend some time in a psyche ward. Jung had a better relationship with his father. But he often carried around some kind of talisman. He said he had two personalities as a child: one was the typical schoolboy of the time; the other was a dignified, authoritative, and influential man from the past. He travelled extensively, he likes to push the limits with his travels to connect with ancient cultures and ancient gods or America, India, Africa. He eventually left public service and started a private retreat practice out at the lake. He remained marries his whole life, but had almost a second wife and member of the family through one of his students. The ladies helped him greatly in his career, working as his assistants, secretaries, writers, editors, publicists, etc. After Writing the Psychology of the Unconscious in his late forties, he had a break from everything and everyone and went off to do his own thing. He resigned from his position at the psychiatric hospital to open his own practice. It was also around this time that he became obsesses with mythology. This is really the period when he began to define psychoanalysis and co-founded the International Psychiatric Society with Freud in 1912. He took a mistress, but there seems to have been some agreement from his wife as they were all going out together. 1915 he was drafted as an army doctor. 1916 was the year his articles started to find publication. 1921 his book on psychological types was published. His mother died in 1923. He also travelled to USA to meet the native Americans that year. It was also around this time that he started building his tower. In 1925 he traveled to Africa.

“It is a primordial, universal idea that the dead simple continue their earthly existence and do not know that they are disembodied spirits, an archetypal idea which enters into immediate, visible manifestation whenever anyone sees a ghost.” “Often the hands will solve a mystery that the intellect has struggled with in vain.” (He was talking of drawing.) — Carl Jung
