Saturn in Aries Nakshatras: Ashwini, Bharani, Krittika
Saturn in Aries
“It must be remembered that there is nothing more difficult to plan, more doubtful of success, nor more dangerous to manage than a new system. For the initiator has the enmity of all who would profit by the preservation of the old institution and merely lukewarm defenders in those who gain by the new ones.” “Never was anything great achieved without danger.” — Machiavelli
They tend to be serious people, possibly a little scary to others. You don’t want to get in their way. They might even be a little afraid of themselves.
People who are out there on a limb, pushing themselves to the limits, terrified, but doing it; doing the impossible. They are not usually nice people, but they can get some charm from other planets and they can certainly get things done. They are full of self-doubt, self-criticism, awareness of their many failings, but never quitting. They can be excessively self-reliant and self-going. Rigid; some say stubborn. They do what they want and don’t care about the consequences, they will gladly face them. They become the true trailblazers, they have survived in the toughest environment; they have gone through hell and by later in life they ate absolutely fearless.
They will suffer the consequences from their lack impulse control, but if they have any blessing in life they will learn from this to take on only the most challenging missions in order to gain any kind of satisfaction. I’m not sure if they really care wether they live or die. They can be very self-conscious feeling like they are never enough, a nobody, undeserving, unworthy of anything and will have to work very hard for everything in life.
They tend to resist going deep for any kind of true self knowledge and they certainly do not let others in easily. In their youth they are typically full of fear, self doubt, and worry as everything seems to be life or death. They can also be extremely lazy and apathetic but if they sent on a mission they will tackle it with everything they have. These are the kinds of people that get sent into situations of certain death; but often emerge victorious (or perhaps these are just the ones we hear about). Their fear of rejection can be strong, and this can cause them to act out in ways that will obviously get them rejected, or they might try to hide in the shadows and never do anything for fear of rejection. They might prefer anonymity, but I’m not sure they will get this. This Saturn will demand that these native sacrifice themselves for others at every opportunity.
They tend to remain fearful of attack, and they may have very strong walls, but these only serve to invite further attack. These natives are typically defiant, disobedient and rebellious: independent to the extreme. They might feel like there is never enough time, they will manage to remain busy constantly as they wait for the critics, the attack their independence (which many others see as selfishness or stony defiance). Many of them are libertarian or something close to that. They are less likely to make the first move, but if they do have to move: look out.
Part of the reason Saturn doesn’t like Aries is that Saturn is just coming into the light after going through hell. Saturn is blinded by the light, he see’s his many imperfections, his darkness, shame, guilt; a servant at the command of any other. They can take a lot of suffering and humiliation; it’s shameful what some people put themselves through just to prove themselves. They are not usually very warm people; but it’s too these people some of the most difficult and daunting challenges are addressed. They will be turned to stone in order to complete their mission. Hard bodies that can take a lot of punishment. Many of these natives might be considered morally corrupt, but they often did what they had to do to survive. And they do make good survival guides. Or if you want to know how things really work, talk to them, but it won’t be a rosy perspective. It’s not uncommon to find them on a long impossible journey somewhere. They are very hearty people, and capable of making the most difficult life or death discussions.
They might be afraid to start over even after they have lost everything they will keep pushing. They really can’t take a hint. Possibly some level of autism they doesn’t understand social cues very well. After Saturn matters, their life will begin. These are they guys going to the gym for 6 hours a day, the ones working hard to build their body, becoming hard, become a somebody instead of the nobody they were born as. What makes them dangerous (in a good or bad way) is that they have something to prove.

Health: The life force is forward and upwards in Aries: Saturn here puts a cap on this life force. Perhaps the Aries relation with the red blood cells allows Saturn in Aries to restrict the oxygen (or prana). Prana is the fire which gives warmth to things and rising them upwards; again, Saturn would restrict these things, making them cold, short and probably a bit weak, easily and often scared, as well as having some trouble with their breathing. But these folks have very strong and determined hearts and will often struggle against anything that restricts their independence. Aries also represents the head so you could say that this Saturn gives them an especially thick skull that will allow them to do anything they put their mind to.
Speaking of the head, they often really do have something wrong with their head: problems starting in the brain are common and they may either be born with or develop brain problems over time. Genetics or accidents can play a significant role in their fate.. Saturn causes dryness, hardness, slowness to the brain and body. Hormonal problems like low dopamine, serotonin, oxytocin, oestrogen, GABA, and endorphins is all possible. They often lack natural reward mechanisms and well as the normal conscience that punished us when we have done wrong. Almost like they have an overdeveloped sense of reason. More heavily afflicted it can lead to the kind of pathology that is the right stuff for an exploitive CEO, or a brutal military leader, fighters and athletes, people on a suicide mission, and self-destructive people. Machiavelli literally has Saturn in Bharani.
Fibromyalgia, delayed satisfaction, lack of pleasure, or enjoyment, lack of bonding with others, mental illness, self-destructive, obsessive compulsive, anxiety, stress, agitation, depression, poor digestion or appetite (thus nutrition), poor breathing, body pain, taboo or pleasure seeking behaviour, blood, heart, lungs, body pain and stiffness. Both extremes of sexual perversity and frigidity (or impotency) can be experienced with this placement. If Rahu or Ketu are also involved, there may be some hormonal imbalance that may take several generations to work itself out.
You can’t expect anything to be easy when Saturn is in Aries. Some kind of physical pain or mental anguish will be a part of their lives they will have to get used to working through. Giving up is not an option. A well-placed Mars or even just an aspect from Jupiter can bring great success from this Saturn, but even then the feelings of enjoyment of that success may be lacking. They will have to deal with the devil inside of themselves and they tend to meet with the worse side of human nature.

“The impossible missions are the only ones which succeed.” “I wake up saying, I’m still alive; a miracle. And so I keep on pushing.” — Jacques Cousteau
“It is not a matter of being fearless. The fear is sometimes constant, but it’s about moving forward regardless of the fear. Courage means feeling the fear and doing it anyway.” “ My default is self-destruction, and anything on top of that is a bloody lot of work” .— Gillian Anderson

Old when they’re young, young when they’re old. They will likely have a second childhood in adulthood. Either they get younger with age or they finally take initiative and responsibility for their own life. In many ways these guys can barely function on their own for survival. You can tell because they are on such a mission to prove their independence. They often resist innovation and can be kind stuck in the past.
This tends to make them more conservative, libertarian, independent. But more broadly speaking they like to conserve energy resources, land resources and time. They resist or regulate innovation which can sometimes make them traditionalists who always prefer the old ways, even if they are more difficult. They might feel like they are above the law, or the law doesn’t apply to them, or that they are themselves the law; though they will seek the strict application of law and order against others; especially if they get to dish out the consequences. .
All around them are storms raging and they are just trying to hang on. Impulses will have to be ruthlessly controlled as one would have suffered heavy consequences for not doing so. The might have had to suffer heavy consequences for acting before thinking, therefore the remain resistant against starting anything new unless they have thought it out well. Saturn containing all of this wild energy is sure to build pressure which will likely have to find some kind of dark release.
They tend to stick with their current course out fear and self-doubt. They do not want to take initiative which will challenge the status quo. They have an unusual strength of determination to do what others say is impossible. Several mountaineers and polar explorers have this Saturn; it seems the immovable rock meets unwavering determination. Several of the female stars likewise sacrificed everything as they moved forward in their careers. Chyna was a feminine phenomena in wrestling.
Hunter Schafer has also pushed the boundaries of free speech as part of the caste of Euphoria. It could be said that their spontaneous penetration of boundaries, perhaps even the boundaries of decency seem to be the cause of much concern to others. This Saturn can bring a lot of impatience related with the qualities of the house he’s in. Early life can be really difficult, but they are able to rise above it later in life and gain success. Saturn is not fully debilitated until the next nakshatra 20 degrees Aries.
Hunter Biden who was resistant to the breaking news stories that pummelled his reputation, and he’s unlikely to try anything new.
Saturn in Bharani
Debilitated at 20 degrees Pada 2
“Men are driven by two principal impulses, either by love or by fear.” “All courses of action are risky, so prudence is not in avoiding danger (it’s impossible), but calculating risk and acting decisively. Make mistakes of ambition and not mistakes of sloth. Develop the strength to do bold things, not the strength to suffer.” “The vulgar crowd always is taken by appearances, and the world consists chiefly of the vulgar.” — Machiavelli
“The job of a theoretical physicist is to make mistakes as fast as possible.” — John Archibald Wheeler

Hell bent to get things done. With additional affliction we might associate this with the kind of dark black magic capable of raising up a dark beast that can destroy the world; like nukes. One may be confined by an illness, handicap, servitude or by law from taking initiative. This is a very tamasic placement with harsh consequences for non-compliance. There may be heavy feelings of guilt. Their gatekeeper is very strict and they will be punished for any derivation from the rules; as they grow older, they are likely to become the punisher. They can be lazy and try to make money in easy ways, but this typically backfires and they end up having to do long hard work hours to pay their debts. And this placement has a lot to do with paying off Karmic debts related to your lineage. The best way to pay this off is by accepting the heaviest burden you can find and carrying that. Don’t try to take shortcuts because they will set you back again every time; don’t skip any of the steps.
These loads we have to carry can be the worst kind of work, like dealing with foreign wars, weapons and oil like Dick Cheney; or having to work with nuclear reactors; it might just be chopping wood and carrying water like poor Cinderella. Step-parents, step-sibling, stet-children are likely with this Saturn depending on where it’s placed; the family will be separated by blood-line in some way.
Saturn in Krittika
They can become really tough characters. Life will have a way of testing their endurance, their commitment, their patience. This position is like forging steel. Trial by fire time and time again; heated to incredibly high temperatures and then beaten into form. They often grow up being bullied until they learn to become the bully themselves. But life is not usually easy for them as they are constantly trying to avoid getting burned, while constantly putting their hand in the fire.
They are often weak, of small, or cripple, or helpless in some way; but they put on this tough shell to hide their weakness. This Saturn can affect the brain as well as the whole body. Inspiration does not come easy for them, they are not usually able to connect with god or anyone in a loving way; they are stuck in reality and find it difficult to bring awareness to the higher states of consciousness. The right brain might be less active leaving the left brain to work through all the step by step solutions before coming to a solution. They need time to make critical decisions or work their way through critical missions. They might also freeze and hesitate when the time comes to act. Especially in Aries there can be a fear of taking initiative, they might not even bother trying to start things or take the lead. This makes them followers with much less personal empowerment; it’s a kind of false power or speculative energy. It’s not a true energy source that leads to righteousness.
But often times they work very closely with reality in life or death situations like explosive experts or bomb disposal experts. Many scientists working with volatile substances, criminals who get themselves into volatile situations. They might be working in construction trades in isolated and dangerous environments. They don’t usually have much to do with the arts, or anything that demands finer sentiments; though there are exceptions like Bob Dylan whose Saturn is in exchange with Mars
Saturn will also have his effect on the razor, making it old and dull, possibly stone age tools for cutting. The criticism will be cold, harsh and old; exhausting. The cuts are serious, repetitive. These people might be resistant to criticism, which of course causes it to hurt that much more. Their sense of self worth and Self-confidence can be low.
The work or service environment will feature a lot of heat, fire, cutting machines, steel. heavy equipment. They might work with fire and combustion metallurgy as well. There seem to be many people skilled with explosives, guns, rockets, flares. Even Stephen Hawking is famous for the Big Bang, Elon Musk builds cheap rockets and electric cars, Phineas P. Gage was an old school railway boss working with explosives. And of course The titanic likely fired off every flare they had as it went down.
An interesting point that has been raised through research is that several of these people have had their brains preserved after death. John Wayne Gacy’s brain is apparently in a ziplock bag somewhere. Phineas Gage’s brain is in Harvard. No doubt they will preserve and study Stephen Hawking’s brain after death.

Celebrities & the 9 Pada of Aries
Celebrities with Saturn in Ashwini
Saturn in Ashwini Pada 1, Aries Navamsha: Dharma Pada. Almost everyone here suffers from mental health problems: bi-polar, suicidal, drug, alcohol, sex addiction, risky lifestyle. A kind of disconnection from their physical body. But they can be hell bent to do what everyone else says you can’t do, or it can’t be done. They are most likely to work alone and stay alone and feel alone. There may be ghostly entities.
Craig Mathieson (polar explorer (1)), Jim Caviezel (actor played Jesus (1)), Ben English (porn agent (1)), Clifford Olsen (serial killer (1)), Patrice Alegre (serial killer (1)), Gillian Anderson (actress, writer, activist (1)), Lupe Valez (actress, singer, dancer (1)), Veruschka von Lehndorff (aristocrat, supermodel (1)), Mariah Carey (singer (1)), Tina Turner (singer (1)), Chyna (female wrestler (1)), Hunter Schafer (transgender model, actress (1)),
Saturn in Ashwini Pada 2, Taurus Navamsha: Artha Pada. People who are insignificant in every way, like, Lee Harvey “I’m just a pattsy” Oswald.. But they have that bull-headedness which combines deep faith and an iron will. They will persevere, and once they set forth on their mission, nothing can stop them. Many of them have real partners, but they are like ghosts.

Saturn in Ashwini Pada 4, Cancer Navamsha: Moksha Pada. This pada can make a person excessively rich and excessively cruel. They do not have much of a childhood and they had to grow up from a very young age, almost like a child soldier, hard nosed CEO who only sees profit margins and misses the people involved. Most of these people have killed someone and I suspect the others a capable. This brings an inner vibration, discomfort and insecurity. Paranoia might also be there as the rich are constantly afraid that will loose everything. Perhaps they’ve just made too many enemies. ,

Celebrities with Saturn in Bharani
Saturn in Bharani Pada 1, Leo Navamsha: They work really hard to be independent, but they end up loosing themselves, and suppressing creative potential. But they will work hard, against the odds, practice hard, face their fears and triumph. They can easily be hypocrites or even outright liars as they seek the winning formula by any means. It’s not about the truth, but about what sells. Fighters will fix matches, Dick Cheney is famous for lying to start the Iraq war. What is the truth? They will have good endurance. I don’t expect they will be particularly child friendly.
Pope John XXIII (1), Franklin D. Saturn in Bharani Pada 2, Virgo Navamsha: Saturn is fully debilitated here at 20 degrees Aries. Their level of logic can be deadly. Where’s the heart? The compassion? Is it a touch of autism or sadism that makes them this way. The fear of death can be debilitating. Perhaps this keeps them fighting in a winner takes all kinda way. I don’t think they could imagine sacrificing themselves for a higher good; it’s just not reasonable.
Machiavelli (2), Rutherford Hays (lawyer, President (2)), Alexander Fleming (physician, discovered penicillin (2)), Peter Paul Rubens (2), Picasso (2), Martin Flack (2), Melania Trump (2), Uma Thurman (2), Karla Homolka (serial Killer (2)), Marie-Soleil Tougas (TV host, killed in plane crash (2)),
Saturn in Bharani Pada 3, Libra Navamsha: Exalted in Navamsha. Saturn typically gives good results since they are likely to have a partner to go thru hell with and those commitments will be all the firmer for it. Lots of addictive tendencies here. This Saturn probably also sets them up for trust issues, because there are a number of relationships troubles and infamous fights with friends, work partners, colleagues. They work so hard to be free and independent, but also wan to work with someone else. It can bring on again, off again kinda relations; hot and then cold.

Saturn in Aries 1st house
Rules the 10th & 11th houses for Aries ascendant.
Phala Deepika Saturn in 1st house: “Causes one to be afflicted with sorrow and misery from early childhood and is sure to suffer from poverty and want. He is untidy and indolent.”
Jataka Bharnam Saturn in 1st house: “If Saturn is exalted or in own sign the native becomes the king of his country or his own city, but in any other sign he is unfortunate, diseased and devoid of wealth. The disease will affect that part of the body represented by the sign.”
B.V. Raman Saturn in the 1st house: “Foreign customs will be easily copied and imitated. If Saturn is not afflicted there will be much concern for others. Self-confidence is normally justified. Moral stability will also be marked. The disposition is calm, grave and serious. The body will be weak and emancipated. Progress in any venture will be slow but certain. There may come an aversion for responsibility. This position makes habits inactive. Loss through negligence and lack of opportunity are possible. The same results will be noticed when Saturn aspects the ascendant. Misfortune is likely in the early part of life.”
Chamatkar Chintamani Saturn in the 1st house: “The native has plenty of wealth, unabated greed. Discontented, quarrelsome, unhappy, crude. Poisonous glance; mental agony, bilious, jealous. The native is rich, has regrets, disputes, destroys the strongest enemies but is dissatisfied, perturbed, angry, Saturn-like looks, jealous of others property and victims of various ailments. The native is sick, sexy, gloomy, lazy, faces various ailments in childhood.
If Saturn is in it’s own sign, exalted or in Sagittarius, Pisces the native is affluent like a king, chief of the village or town; learned, a scholar, handsome, long-lived and charming. In other signs the results are similar to those of the Sun, there is trouble in the nose, illusions, heart-burning, trouble in the womb and joints, biliousness, chill, pain in the private parts, under-arm and body pains. Respiratory problems if Saturn is afflicted. If it is unfavourable, trouble due to poverty, own acts, evil spirits, devils and thieves. Saturn is very troublesome causing total ruin. This Saturn can kill the enemy just by his poisonous looks. If afflicted by the Moon, they will live only by the mercy of others; but this is modified if aspected by a benefic. If well-placed by sign or aspect the native is contemplative and considerate, discrete, prudent, systematic, diligent, frugal, intimate, attentive, quiet, sincere, and serious, loves merit, thoughtful, growth and success are slow but sure. Afflicted Saturn indicates trouble and sickness in the part of the body represented by the sign it’s in. Their temperament is subtle, acquisitive, penetrative, careful, secretive, and sometimes gloomy and discontented. There is loss through sickness, misfortune and delays. Generally these natives are deficient in Phosphate and Calcium. They are given to nervousness, timidity, and diffidence in youth; boldness from middle age. The native with Saturn in Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces prefers service and gets promotion after pursuing seniors. Fortune smiles on him by retirement time. There is only one marriage; sons are few or none but many daughters. He has large but weak eyes, commanding speech, authoritative look if in Aries, Leo or Sagittarius.. There is trouble through the family, strife with partner, two marriages, sensual, ailing partner, early death of parents (Longevity to parents if in Libra). He is best by age 56 but suffers economic loss in the 25th and 31st year. Marriage is denied or the partner fails to survive if afflicted by Venus. Wealth and sons do not go together. Trouble through business. Accidents, sudden death or imprisonment if afflicted by Mars. Wicked and deprived if it conjoins Moon. Good natured in Aries, Cancer, Leo, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Pisces.”
Jataka Bharnam “Moon & Saturn conjunct allows the native to enjoy sex with many women, lovers and prostitutes. They have a guilty disposition, mixed blood and are devoid of manliness. They do agriculture or labour work and often take part in local elections and may be successful. In a female, this conjunction in the 7th house will give menstrual irregularities and in a male chart they might lack interest in sexual intercourse.”
BPHS 10th lord in the 1st house: “The native will be learned, famous, a poet. Will incur disease in childhood but be happy later. Wealth will increase day by day. For Aries ascendant this Saturn will have an adverse effect on health and wealth. He will be troubled by headaches and there will be a diminution of longevity.”
B.V. Raman 10th lord in the 1st house: “The native rises by sheer dint of perseverance. He will seek a profession of independence, they become famous, a pioneer in his field of work, and he may found an institution or engage himself in social projects.”
BPHS 11th lord in the 1st house: “The native will have a sattvic nature, be rich, happy, even sighted, a poet, eloquent in speech, and always endowed with gains.”
B.V. Raman 11th lord in the 1st house: “The native will be born into a rich family and he will earn much wealth. The strength of this planet will relate with the level of family wealth: very rich, fairly rich or merely well-to-do. He will lose an elder brother later in life.”

Saturn in Aries
Tall, slim, sinewy, no excess fat on the system. Serious temperament, quiet reserved nature, introverted in early life. Shy, full of self doubt, probably bullied and teased just enough for them to build up a powerful “I’ll show them attitude.” They can be fairly strong and athletic despite their slimness. They are battle hardened, tough as nails. Perseverance, persistence, stubbornness, powerful inner will. They often do the work of ten men all by themselves. They will never give up. But they also internalise a lot of pain, suffering and hardship. Since all of this is going on in the ascendant, this toughness shows and they are not usually they kinds of people anyone wants to mess with. Serious, scary dudes.
With the moon it seems like they truly and honestly don’t care about anything. As Ron once said, “Mike, my give-a-fuck is broken; it’s finished. I couldn’t care less.” Depravity can easily result, some kind of self destructive tendency is likely. The soul is dead, the body has been used and abused and nothing much really matters. They can use this energy to do pioneering work, to silence the doubters.
Saturn in Ashwini 1st House
Lord of 10th & 11th houses for Aries ascendant.
They are ready serious people, extremely determined, but they have to work through a lot of self-doubt. They can be intimidating hard to get to know them. Health problems are certain with this mix of vata & pitta. May have suffered from complications at the time of birth and the native may have been near death. Dark, blue skin, very skinny; skin and bones, overly serious, dull dry personality, dark blotchy complexion. They are likely to suffer from ill health, poor personality, unattractive, very low confidence, pessimist, worrier. Illnesses that affect the brain and the whole body. They are likely to suffer from lack of impulse control and lack of morals; a debauchee. Almost like Mr. Burns from the Simpsons.
Ulysses S. Grant: Saturn conjunct Sun & Jupiter; aspected by Ketu. Mars in Leo. Brigadier general. Two terms as President. Throat cancer. About 5’8”. First 17 years of life were Saturn Mahadasha. Serious temperament, quiet reserved nature, introverted. He did not like school; he liked horses and was a great rider from a young age. His father was a tanner and businessman. In 1829 his family moved to Ohio. In 1839, probably right at the end of Saturn Mahadasha, he entered West Point Military Academy. Mercury Saturn: Ketu Saturn: Venus Saturn: (See Saturn 10th from Moon.)
Erik Prince: Saturn conjunct Venus; no aspects. Mars in Scorpio. Navy SEAL and security contractor: founder of Blackwater (now Academi). About 6’0” Saturn Mahadasha 1996 – 2015: His father died in 1995, he sold his father’s auto parts store and Founded Blackwater Security services. In 1997, he purchased a piece of swamp land in Florida for training. His Venus Sun & Moon, operating under Saturn Saturn period, are all pretty good for land and real-estate. In 2001 (possibly Saturn Ketu), he started taking contracts from the CIA. In Sept. 2007 (Saturn Moon Saturn), his men opened fire on civilians in Iraq. They were tried and convicted in 2014 (Saturn Jupiter). Over the 15 years he owned Blackwater, he managed billions in contracts from the government and CIA. He resigned as CEO on Mar. 2, 2009 (Saturn Mars) and sold the business in late 2010 (Saturn Rahu). He then moved to Abu Dhabi where he maintains a second home to this day. In Jan. 2011 (Saturn Rahu) he was training a Somali force for anti-piracy missions. He now heads a private equity firm, likely after Mercury period started. (See Saturn 3rd from Moon.)
Jorge Paulo Lehmann: Saturn conjunct Ketu, aspected by Mars. Making sign exchange with Mars in Capricorn. Investment banker, businessman, and former tennis player with dual Brazilian and Swiss citizenship. Average height, about 5’10”. Saturn Mahadasha 1991 – 2010: This was a period of self-discipline, long term strategic planning, with Saturn bringing additional focus to his personal heath and to the safety and security of his family. Although Saturn in Aries can be fairly bull -headed in its drive forward and up, the exchange with Mars in Capricorn bring more strategic influence and pushing power for him to attain the great height in the business world that he did. From 1991 to 2010, Lemann’s life events show a pattern of significant personal decisions (like moving to Switzerland) and professional restructuring (like selling Banco Garantia), reflecting Saturn’s need for security, discipline, and pioneering new paths. Lemann, along with his partners Marcel Telles and Beto Sicupira, founded the NGO Fundação Estudar, aimed at providing leadership and entrepreneurship training to Brazilian youth and funding their education abroad. In 1994 he suffered. Heart attack. 1998: Banco Garantia, which Lemann co-founded, was sold to Credit Suisse First Boston for $675 million. Mar. 1999: An attempted kidnapping of his children led Lemann to relocate permanently to Switzerland for safety reasons. They were likely saved by the bullet proof glass protecting the chauffeur. 2004: Lemann, along with his partners, founded 3G Capital to invest in American companies, marking a significant expansion of their investment scope. April 2005: his first wife passed away. He remarried soon after this. 2008: 3G Capital and Interbrew merged with Anheuser-Busch to form AB InBev, the world’s largest brewer, for $52 billion. Sept. 2010: 3G Capital acquired Burger King for $4 billion, further expanding their portfolio into fast food. (See Saturn 4th from Moon.)

Sun Saturn 1952 – ’52: “My first memories were my mother … absolutely dependent on the begging bowl – that little round dish with a piece of cloth at the bottom where parishioners would put a couple of bob. When dad went off to the war, I was taken up by my grandparents … and lived on a dirt-poor farm … I lived in penury for the first 10, 15 years of my life. … Mother dumped [my father] in favour of a rather sleazy businessman … a sociopath who tried to murder me … I spent the latter part of my childhood trying to protect my mother from this psycho.” Moon Saturn 1959 – ’61: He was working in advertising around this time. Mars Saturn 1967 – ’68: He was getting in the film industry. The following year he was part of the team that produced “Jack and Jill: A Postscript” Rahu Saturn 1977 – ’80: He was deeply involved with the Australian film industry in this period. He played a significant role in the revival of the Australian film industry, including his involvement with the Australian Film and Television Development Corporation. He would have been part of the cultural and artistic scene, contributing to influential films and helping to shape the national film policy. In 1977 he released his book, “The Unspeakable Adams.” His career as a social commentator would have been strengthening. Sun Saturn 1997 ’98: She acted in her feature film in 1997. She got married on Dec. 29, 1997. Her husband and marriage is probably the most conventional thing about her. She came to international prominence for her portrayal of Queen Elizabeth I in the period drama Elizabeth (1998), for which she received her first Academy Award nomination. One critic wrote: “conveys with grace, poise and intelligence that Elizabeth was a wily, decisive, advanced thinker.” Moon Saturn: 2004 – ’06: She starred in the aviator in 2004. Her and her husband purchased a gothic style home and renovated it. They put it on the market in 2015; not sold in 2017 for almost double what they paid. I think he husband is into real estate. 2006: This was a really busy period for her: she took a theatre role staring as Hedda Gabler in the Ibsen play of the same name. Hadda is newly married and already bored with both her marriage and her life. She is the daughter of a General. She wants luxury but has no money. In Babel she was part or a grieving couple in Morocco. She was in The Good German and Notes on a Scandal where she played the role of a teacher who has an obsessive affair with a 15 year old student. Saturn in Bharani 1st House
Lord of 10th & 11th houses for Aries ascendant.
Deep seated sense of self-doubt along with a strong sense of having to go at it alone. Determination despite all odds. They have to prove themselves. The person gets no respect and must work very hard in their life to prove themselves. But this Saturn can cause them to doubt themselves as if they are really a nobody. High likelihood that they had step-mothers and they lived out their adult lives recreating the cruelty and emotional detachment felt from their step-family. Cold in the face of death; would do nothing to actually help save anyones life. They have usually looked long and hard at the fear of death. Depression and anxiety, heavy feeling go guilt and shame, drug or alcohol addiction is possible, suicide seems to be attempted by many of these natives. There can be paranoia or perhaps people really are taking shots at you. They feel like a slave, no matter what they do, they can’t get any respect.

Saturn in Aries 2nd house
Rules the 11th & 12th houses for Pisces ascendant.
Phala Deepika Saturn in 2nd house: “Will give an ugly look, cause one to be without wealth and take an evil path. At a later age he will go to live in a foreign country. He will own vehicle wealth and other luxuries.”
Jataka Bharnam Saturn in 2nd house: “The native lives with other men, is addicted to some evil habit (like drinking), is deserted by his own men, wanders in different countries, gets honour from the king, wealth and conveyance. It often happens that they have to live far away from their family. Their speech is harsh, they are thrifty, there is some possibility of disease of the mouth and they might not be pretty.”
B.V. Raman Saturn in the 2nd house: “Unless exalted or in own house it tends to make earning an uphill struggle. Much work with little gain. Harsh speech, unsocial, sorrowful and roaming about aimlessly, the person comes across many opportunities but seldom takes advantage of them. In family life he will be unhappy. He will gain by dealing with metals, storage, mines, labour, etc. He will be unpopular.”
Chamatkar Chintamani Saturn in the 2nd house: “Leaving behind his family he travels far and wide to obtain every kind of pleasure and success. Far from being sweet to friends, he is irrelevant, unbecoming, unbearable, harsh and bitter in speech. Even then, gain and success through all eight metals, specifically iron and every other luxury in life. To achieve his selfish ends every method is fair. The native is wealthy, poverty through wrath of a higher authority. He is a liar, restless, an imposture, there is loss of wealth through suffering, speech defect, biliousness, phlegmatic, rheumatic. He is base, poor in own country, affluent in foreign countries and a life full of luxury late in life only. If Saturn is in any sign other than Libra, the native is sensual, suffers from it, forsaken by own family members. Settles abroad later in life, gain through royal favour. The native gains from wood, coal, iron, and other base jobs. He practices magic and charm and his sister’s children fail to survive. If aspected by a friendly planet or a benefic, the native is religious, kind, honest and truth loving. Successful when he changes his residence, later on he acquires wealth, conveyance and every means of pleasure but no younger brothers. He is a thief with a great collection, but sweet and soft spoken. The native is a dependent, surrounded by many troubles; own relatives desert him; in the last half of life he migrates to a foreign land where he prospers and enjoys conveyance, recognition and success in life.
The native marries twice, suffers eye trouble, loss through agriculture; he may be the chief of a monetary. If afflicted by a malefic he will cheat women, face an unprofitable up hill struggle and be blunt to the opportunities that come his way. There are many failures for want of money and failures can be avoided to gain success in land, property, produce, mines, storage, investments, minerals, building labour etc. if the directions in which this Saturn in operating are thoroughly accounted for. There is gain from antiques, museum work, uncommon paths, curios etc. A good aspect from Jupiter or Venus or well poised by sign indicates thrift, economy and wise investments. Gain by labour, land, building, farming, heavy trading minerals, transport, public appointments, investments, speculation, responsibility and method.
Saturn protects the traits of the house it is posited in, destroys by aspect. The native earns a living by the sweat of his brow, single marriage and unfriendly to own family members. Interest in social and public works. He is pertinacious, stubborn and careless about own meals and dress. In Aries, Gemini, Leo, or Sagittarius indicates two marriages, progeny, wealth, honour. Absence of accumulation, investment on house property and land., Trouble through over-eating. Success through soft and sweet tone. Trouble through partner, gain through societies. If in Aries, Leo or Sagittarius, gain from going North. If in Taurus, Virgo or Capricorn, from West. In Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces, from the east. And if in Gemini, Libra, Aquarius from the south.“
BPHS 11th lord in the 2nd house: “The native will be endowed with all kinds of wealth and accomplishments, will be charitable, religious and always happy.”
B.V. Raman 11th lord in the 2nd house: “The native will live with his elder brother. Benefics will give harmonious relations. Malefic cause domestic bickering, but common dwelling. The native will earn through commercial concerns and banking ventures. Business with friends can bring big profits, but if excessive malefic influence, these friends can bring big losses.”
BPHS 12th lord in the 2nd house: “The native will always spend money on auspicious deeds, be religious, speak sweetly, and be blessed with virtues and happiness.”
B.V. Raman 12th lord in the 2nd house: “The person will suffer fi.nancial losses. He may contact debt and be involved with nefarious activity. He will not eat timely meals. His eyesight will be poor and his family life will be marked by lack of harmony. If the 12th lord is benefic and in dignity these losses will be greatly reduced and the native can achieve financial stability. He will be a tactful speaker. If the 12th lord is badly disposed the native indulges in gossip and quarrelling.

You have to be strong.” — Catherine Zeta Jones
Very serious, responsible, disciplined approach to finance, savings, stored goods. They very often have nothing and are therefore forced to be frugal. There can be a kind of status anxiety attached to this Saturn as they continually worry about their self worth. They will there for work very hard for most of their lives to prove themselves to be financially independent. They can be out spoken, harsh with their words and possibly more harsh with their silence. They can take some big financial risks and will likely loose. everything before they gain anything. This Saturn delays wealth and make s person work really hard for it; possibly doing illegal or despicable things to make money. Saturns aspect to 3rd house, bring much anxiety over security, possibly worry that others want to take what you have. His aspect to the 8th house slows the cycles of change with tight regulation of resources. But despite doing everything in their power to regulate their stored resources, nature, or all that cannot be controlled will make itself known. Saturn’s aspect to the 11th house restricts friendship connection and makes them fairly dry. Lack of facial expression will be there: stern and serious looking;, resting bitch face, dark features hair and eyes (eyes burning like coal), but a darker face generally speaking, closed off. Their image or face they show to the world would be conservative, conventional, drab, uniform, absolutely nothing fancy, but can be a bit sporty. They don’t often have any real friends, mostly back-stayers or people who want something from you. Nothing comes free.
Free speech. With Saturn they are so often told to be quiet, there are consequences to what you say, losses and gains will be mixed. Trouble to the face, mouth, eyes, and hair. Saturn most specifically affects the teeth when he is in the 2nd house. Poor diet and a lack of family values. Likely has land, horses, tools, and vehicles; tools of the trade.

Free speech. Brings some passion and emotion to the voice. With Saturn they are so often told to be quiet, there are consequences to what you say, losses and gains will be mixed. They will never feel like they have enough money. Problems with the teeth, crude speakers, ugly face, thick course hair, They will not like to spend on anything; just the bare necessities. They might come from a poor family; labour class, hard workers. They can accumulate wealth from foreign sources and may have some undeveloped land, dilapidated buildings, or merely be an absentee landlord. Beneficial aspects can spruce things up, Mars can give industrial lands, Jupiter can give some religious significance, and Venus will give the space some beauty some how,
They might have found themselves hiding in a strange place or closet when they were young.
I would expect quite bad teeth problems with this placement of Saturn. If Sun and Moon are also afflicted, eyesight will be as well. They would speak harshly or poorly, they would have little foresight. Dreamers with little vision for the future. Family may have been grave diggers.

Saturn in Aries 3rd house
Rules the 1st & 12th houses for Aquarius ascendant.
Phala Deepika Saturn in 3rd house: “Will make a man sharp, liberal in giving gifts, and contented with his own wife. He will, however, be inactive and suffer from grief.”
Jataka Bharnam Saturn in 3rd house: “The person will get honour from government, have excellent conveyance, be chief of a village, valorous and supporter of many people. Ill-will, aversion and separation from one’s brothers. Slow in executing plans and less income from trade establishments than expected.”
B.V. Raman Saturn in the 3rd house “Brave and courageous, wealthy, loss of brothers, eccentric and cruel. Sorrow through brothers; honoured by rulers, the head or president of local boards, municipalities, etc. He will protect many people. He attains success only after he suffers disappointment and reverses. The tendency of the mind is toward gloom, anxiety and misgivings. The mental condition improves with age. If afflicted, the despondency is likely to run into mental affliction.”
Chamatkar Chintamani Saturn in the 3rd house: “The native with Saturn in the 3rd house feels mental agony through relatives and business. Many fruitless efforts and wide differences with own people. Lots of trouble and disturbances before gain. Soft & sweet. His hopes and longing never let him feel completely happy. Discontented with all the esteem and hospitality; ungrateful and harsh. The native is never satisfied with all the profits he makes. Encounters many difficulties before success. He is unkind and wicked to friends but wise and brave. He fosters friends and foes alike and gets government honour. Chivalrous and magnanimous, but has an absence of brothers. He is abstinent, wealthy, of noble descent, adept and merits. This Saturn is Maraka for younger brothers. With all the affluence he is lazy and melancholy. Increase of friends, gain of wealth and loss of younger brothers are the other results. The native struggles for fortune, gains through social, and has differences with relatives and in his association with menials. He is averse to work & religion, popular amongst women, revered in government circles, chief of the town or village and has many attendants. This Saturn denotes mental affliction and sinfulness. Gain and promotion of brothers if Saturn is exalted or in own sign. If associated with a malefic there is discord between brothers.
If strong by position or aspect, denotes responsibility, tact, diplomacy, power to contemplate, logic, rational mindedness, concentration, interest in philosophy, studies and writings. If afflicted, much discord and strife with everybody; given to hypocrisy, and treachery, deceitful, fits of passion, perverted, want of culture, dishonest tendencies, despondent. This native is much disappointed and gets annoyance through trouble, loss and delay in education, relatives, neighbours, travelling and changes. His early life is full of gloom, acquisitiveness, anxiety, restlessness and misgivings. His mental condition is modified with age.
Is favourable if in Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces. In masculine signs he is inimical to brothers and sisters, early children but a few may fail to survive. If in feminine signs there is coldness between brothers and separation between them, disputes over financial affairs and children later in life; good education and develops self confidence; financial loss after marriage if in Virgo or Libra. Industry, ability and thought power fail. In Cancer it denotes trouble to parents. Acute poverty if in own signs. Much travelling if in a water sign. The native is greedy, cruel and wicked. Good for longevity and the native shows mental control, steady thinking, concentration and orderly reasoning.”
BPHS 1st lord in the 3rd house: “Equal to a lion in valour, will have all kinds of wealth, will be horrible, have two wives and be intelligent and happy. The native will be enterprising, and will have the courage to face any situation. The faculties of the body flourish, he will need more nutrition and his diet will need to be richer. When the ascendant is Gemini, the native becomes an aesthetic toward earning money from about the age of 40 – 45 as his vitality and strength become decayed.”
B.V. Raman 1st lord in the 3rd house: “Makes one highly courageous, fortunate, respectable, two wives, intelligent and happy. When well positioned, the natives rise in life will be brought about by his brothers. He may become famous as a musician or a mathematician depending on the nature of the sign and the planets involved.”
BPHS 12th lord in the 3rd house: “The native will be devoid of fraternal happiness, will have hatred for other people and will promote self nourishment and be self centred.”
B.V. Raman 12th lord in the 3rd house: “He will be timid and quiet. Loss of brother is shown. He will be shabbily dressed. If afflicted by malefic he may develop ear ailments. He may have to spend much money on younger brothers. As a writer he may be unsuccessful. He may work in some common-place job and earn very little. If conjunct the 2nd lord and aspected by Jupiter they may have more than one wife.”

Saturn in Ashwini 3rd House
Fraternal bliss is destroyed, they are fearful with a nervous temperament, nervous hands, hidden gestures, rough hands. They might find themselves stuck away from home or locked out of their own home.
Frank Abbandando: Contract killers for the mob: Murder inc. His preferred method was to stab the victims through the heart with an ice pick. He was executed in Sing Sing Prison by electric chair. He had 11 brothers and sisters, but six did not survive childhood. As a child he started extorting money from businesses by threatening to burn the place down. He had no limits of depravity.
Pope Pius IX: “Atheism in legislation, indifference in matters of religion, and the pernicious maxims which go under the name of Liberal Catholicism are the true causes of the destruction of states; they have been the ruin of France. Believe me, the evil I denounce is more terrible than the Revolution, more terrible even than The Commune. I have always condemned Liberal Catholicism, and I will condemn it again forty times over if it be necessary.” “Socialism, Communism, clandestine societies, Bible societies… pests of this sort must be destroyed by all means.”
Erik Prince: “Every individual who has worked for Blackwater in Iraq has previously served in the U.S. military or as a police officer. Many were highly decorated. And from the beginning, these individuals have been bound by detailed contracts that ensure intensive government direction and control.” “I represented everything Democrats loathed.” “We’re trying to do for the national security apparatus what FedEx did for the postal service.” “I can relate to ranchers and roughnecks and professional game guides and farmers and homemakers.”
Saturn in Bharani 3rd House
Debilitation causes the destruction of 3rd house indications. Fraternal bliss is destroyed. They can be incredibly tightly strung people whose nerves are always on edge. They should work with things rather than people. Their hands tend to be big, rough, hard. There may be some greater debilitation of the hands, arms, shoulders, lungs, upper back. Of course almost every problem with Saturn in Aries starts in the brain.
Gottfried von Leibniz: “I do not believe that a world without evil, preferable in order to ours, is possible; otherwise it would have been preferred. It is necessary to believe that the mixture of evil has produced the greatest possible good: otherwise the evil would not have been permitted. The combination of all the tendencies to the good has produced the best; but as there are goods that are incompatible together, this combination and this result can introduce the destruction of some good, and as a result some evil.” “It’s easier to be original and foolish than original and wise.” “Nature does not make leaps.” “What is is what must be.”
Deva Premal: “I read once that the voice is a mirror of our inner being. I can very much relate to that because, when you sing, you feel very exposed. You feel like you can’t hide anything. But then it also works the other way round and, when we work on our voice, our inner being also changes.”
Ginger Rogers: “The only way to enjoy anything in life is to earn it first.”
Saturn in Krittika 3rd House
Debilitation causes the destruction of 3rd house indications. Fraternal bliss is destroyed. They can be incredibly high and tightly strung people whose nerves are always on edge. They should work with things rather than people. Their hands tend to be big, rough, hard and likely burn by the fire. There may be some greater debilitation of the hands, arms, shoulders, lungs, upper back. Of course almost every problem with Saturn in Aries starts in the brain.
Saturn in Aries 4th house
Rules the 1st & 2nd houses for Capricorn ascendant.
Phala Deepika Saturn in 4th house: “Will make the native live an unhappy homeless life without any conveyance, deprived of his mother and sickly during early life.”
Jataka Bharnam Saturn in 4th house: “Weakens the native due to excess bile and wind, the person has a wicked disposition, is lethargic, quarrelsome, weak and dirty. The native constructs a house far from place of birth and has an interest in farming, working with iron, taking part in politics, The person might live in a paternal property with great inconvenience, face mental anguish due to slander, trouble from animals. The person remains full of anxiety, lethargic, worried. Adverse effects can be predicted for the natives mother as well.”
B.V. Raman Saturn in the 4th house: “Sickly during early years; deprived of mother and unhappy; suffers from windy and phlegmatic complaints; lethargic temperament; will not inherit any property; will have troubles from house and vehicles; disliked by relatives; desire to live a very secluded life; unfavourable for domestic family affairs, unless beneficially aspected or associated.”
Chamatkar Chintamani Saturn in the 4th house: “The native is not blessed with patrimony, movable or immovable. Bad name through brothers, brethren and relatives for nothing. Loss of property and conveyance. Source of trouble for parents. Suffers biliousness. He has unbearable mental torture from false allegations and criticism of the brothers and relatives. There is fear through cattle wealth, causes distress to parents and constant bile problems. He does not enjoy health and had gain through enemies, much sorrow, worry and separation. There exists anxiety, insensible, mental affliction, powerlessness, and emaciated. 4th house denotes happiness: Saturn in 4th destroys this. The native is always unhappy, loss of home, honour and mother. The native himself being good lives with bad and wicked people. Brothers and sisters steal away his wealth and he has heart problems, long nails and hair on the body.
If Saturn is progressed, the relative suffers loss of life. If retrograde, wife, children, and attendants suffer loss of life. The native migrates to another village but gains no happiness. He is crafty and immoral and has neither home nor status. The native suffers loss of mother, and lives without happiness of wealth with his step-mother. If Saturn is exalted or in own sign, these results are not seen. If Saturn is the lord of lagna, the mother lives long and the native enjoys good fortune. If Saturn conjoins the lord off the 8th, the native suffers loss of mother and much trouble besides.
Saturn denotes difficulties and trouble through property, legacy or mines, acquisitiveness, denial of worldly success, contrary domestic and family affairs, little success against heavy odds, responsibilities without reward, asceticism at the close of life and lack of interest in worldly affairs. Well aspected or dignified Saturn bestows property, gain through produce and mines.
Saturn in masculine sign indicates favourable results. It is good for government service if in Aries, Cancer, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, Scorpio, Pisces, Gemini and also denotes magistrate or sub-judge, teacher, chance of 2nd marriage.
The native is generally large hearted, quiet, sober, lofty, patient, not avaricious, just, virtuous, hospitable, donor, generosity leading to poverty in old age but still does not turn from benevolence. A large number of children of this Saturn is in Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces. Few children if in Gemini, Libra or Aquarius. Two or three if in Taurus, Virgo or Capricorn.
Death of young and well settled son. Loss of wealth. Fortune after accumulated wealth. Gain or success after 36 till 56. Adopted son, access in foreign land. West is favourable for Saturn in Taurus, Virgo, or Capricorn. North for other signs. Success and gain in the 16, 22, 24, 27 and 26th years; physical pain in 8, 18, 22, 28, 40 and 52nd years.”
BPHS 1st lord in the 4th house: “Blessed with maternal and paternal happiness, many brothers, lascivious, lusty, virtuous and charming. They will take care of their body, adorn it and always seek to improve their personality. They tend to be emotionally sensitive.” Vahana Yoga: 1st lord in the 4th, 9th, or 11th house: “The person comes to own vehicles or other material comforts.”
B.V. Raman 1st lord in the 4th house: “There will be happiness from parents, many brothers, materialistic, well built, fair looking and well behaved. With benefice aspects he will acquire considerable landed properties, especially through maternal sources. He will be rich, happy, famous and commands a number of conveyances.”
BPHS 2nd lord in the 4th house: “The native is endowed with all kinds of wealth. If conjunct Jupiter of in exaltation the native will be equal to a king. The native particularly invest his money in articles of pleasure and luxury and therefore must possess much wealth.”
B.V. Raman 2nd lord in the 4th house: “The results of 2nd lord in the 3rd house will apply as well as the following. He will spend money for his own happiness. He will be highly frugal when dealing with money. If well-fortified he will earn well as an automotive dealer or agent, or agriculturist, or landlord, or commission agent. He will also be benefited by his maternal relations There will be loss on this account if the 4th lord is afflicted.”

Saturn in Ashwini 4th House
“A nation that cannot control its borders is not a nation.” Ronald Reagan
“Men are like steel. When they lose their temper, they lose their worth.” “If some thug breaks into my home I can use my roundhouse kick, but I prefer he look down the barrel of my gun.” — Chuck Norris
Strongly Identified with the land, the nation, the home. Conservation of natural resources, and local cultures. Strong borders, strong boundaries, stone walls. The land is likely hot and infertile, possibly pasture land, ranching. The home is a place of work, building foundations and belonging to the land, to the place by hard experience. Cowboys, hard strong people, firmly ground in the local culture, an icon. Mostly libertarian.
Resistant to any new movements in the home, in the local culture. Possible fear of home invasion. Wealth might be invested in land and fixed assets in a way that makes liquid wealth rather hard to come by sometimes. On the other hand, wealth may be stored in the home itself or it may be buried in the back yard. It does support house and land and horses. The house itself may be just a protective shelter, a place of work, cold and lonely; just a house; not a home. Punitive upbringing, harsh rules in the home brings fear. It may be a stone house, but not a very nice one. Stone-wall, harsh boundaries, few are allowed in. Strong family values. They might have hereditary or genetic health issues that affect the whole body since the lord of 1st and 2nd house is debilitated and aspects the 3rd house giving chronic illness.
David Koch: Saturn conjunction Jupiter, Mercury & Sun. Hemmed between Mars & Ketu. “I’m basically a libertarian, and I’m a conservative on economic matters, and I’m a social liberal.”
Ronald Reagan: Saturn conjunct Moon & Rahu with Jupiter aspecting. “Government is not a solution to our problem, government is the problem. … Government does not solve problems; it subsidizes them. Government’s view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. If it stops moving, subsidize it. … The problem is not that people are taxed too little, the problem is that government spends too much.” “The nine most terrifying words in the English language are “I’m from the government, and I’m here to help.” Saturn Mahadasha 1974 – 1993: Around the start of this period he resigned for state politics and focused on national politics. Nov. 20, 1975 (Saturn Saturn Venus) he announced his candidacy. Nov. 13, 1979 (Saturn Mercury Saturn) he campaigned for republican leader and easily won in July 1980 (Saturn Ketu). The presidential campaign followed. On Nov. 4, 1980 (Saturn Ketu Rahu) he won the election and was sworn in Jan. 20, 1981 (Saturn Ketu Saturn). On March 30, 1981 (Saturn Ketu Mercury), Reagan was shot in the chest. One of his campaign managers got shot in the head. His first term the economy plunged into recession in 1982; he hired the Chicago school of economics to fix it. They used shock doctrine. The War on Drugs was full power. Oct. 19, 1983 (Saturn Venus Saturn) he ordered the invasion of Grenada. But even with all the problems, he won a second term by a landslide in Nov. 1984 (Saturn Sun Jupiter). By 1986 he had removed almost half the federal regulations which existed when he was first elected. In nov. 1986 the Iran Contra Affair started to break. In 1987 he replaced Volcker with Greenspan to fix the economy. Greenspan raised interest rates and triggered the stock crash of 1987. By the time he left the presidency in Jan. 1989 he was mostly senile. He remained active for a couple of years but it was soon announced that he had Alzheimer’s.
Saturn in Bharani 4th House
Home is a place of death, of duty, of hard work that never comes to an end. Something is constantly coming up, there is never any relaxation, just anxiety, doubting their sense of belonging, seeds are unable to take root. Heavy affliction could have them living directly on the cremation ground, There is very little security or comfort from the home, mother is unable to carry out her duties leaving the person anxious inside. They might not have really had much of a childhood, having to work from a young age. Some of these natives had heavy duties or chores in the house from a young age, others had to work as dancers, actors, musicians, work work work. Of course, this is not a safest environment for a child. They will no doubt have many experiences of their safety of security being challenged before they will build solid walls with hopes of keeping everyone out of their personal life. But there will always be some kind of invasion of the home. Perhaps they will just learn to keep nothing of value in the home. There are not a lot of comforts or amenities, just there necessities and half off them are broken. Primitive home: maybe they are just never home so the dust accumulates. Or maybe they grow up in the slums or in the hood, hard rocky or even concrete land. There can be house, land, properties, hostels, animals in the house, or people living like animals. This Saturn doesn’t necessarily restrict these 4th house things, it just doesn’t give much attachment or satisfaction from home, school, mother or any of these 4th house things.
These people often become swaggering cowboy style libertarians, libertines, somewhat more disposed to indulge in sensual pleasures than Ashwini placements. They have their guards up. Fear of being attacked in the home which leads them to imposes a heavy handed order in the home for the need of security. Mother can be especially punitive and strict and there can be a lack of comfort and security in the home; a strong sense of restriction and possibly a duty to care for the mother or the parents generally. They will face difficulty in foundational education and early university studies. Most of these natives will not be educated, but if they stick with it they can Mars position will say much about the home, but this Saturn will have a negative effect on the cleanliness of the home,
Roy Rogers: Shortly after he was born, his father and uncle built a house boat from scrap lumber and sailed the family down the Ohio river for a better life. They purchased some land, and then, because of the Great Flood of 1913 (Ketu Saturn) they were able to park the houseboat on the land and continue living in it even after he waters receded. When he was 8 years old they purchased another farm and built a six room house where the family would hold square dances. But it was shortly after this that the Great Depression began. In 1955 (Mars Ketu) he and his wife Evans purchased a 168 acres in Texas and then expanded to 300 acres. But after their child died in a bus accident in 1964 (Rahu Saturn), they moved to the RR Apple Valley ranch which was a horseshoe shaped hacienda with a stone roof. His mother was part Native American.
Martin Sheen: His father was a factory worker, the family grew up fairly poor. He had an in with his left arm In 1989 (Moon Saturn) he was made honorary mayor of Malibu, California; he declared the town a “nuclear free zone, a sanctuary for aliens and the homeless, and a protected environment for all life, wild and tame.” This wasn’t very popular with all the locals.
Mother Teresa: Saturn conjunct Rahu, aspected by Moon Saturn Mahadasha: She moved to India at teh beginning Cold in the face of death and suffering. “Depression surrounds me on all sides – I can’t lift my soul to God – no light or inspiration enters my soul . . . Heaven, what emptiness – not a single thought of Heaven enters my mind – for there is no hope. . . The place of God in my soul is blank.” “People say they are drawn closer to God – seeing my faith. Is this not deceiving people? Every time I have wanted to tell the truth – that I have no faith.”
John Archibald Wheeler: “‘Participant’ is the incontrovertible new concept given by quantum mechanics. It strikes down the ‘observer’ of classical theory, the man who stands safely behind the thick glass wall and watches what goes on without taking part. It can’t be done, quantum mechanics says it…May the universe in some sense be ‘brought into being’ by the participation of those who participate?” “Time, among all concepts in the world of physics, puts up the greatest resistance to being dethroned from ideal continuum to the world of the discrete, of information, of bits…. Of all obstacles to a thoroughly penetrating account of existence, none looms up more dismayingly than ‘time.’ Explain time? Not without explaining existence. Explain existence? Not without explaining time. To uncover the deep and hidden connection between time and existence … is a task for the future.”
Saturn in Krittika 4th House
They are unclean and unhappy. They might be surrounded by wealth and nice home, but they are just a mistreated servant keeping the fires burning. Might live in a coal or iron yard. Mother is likely poor, illiterate and mean: tough as nails; hard as iron. They might have grown up in a family of poor itinerant farmers accustomed the harsh reality of changing seasons. They might be like feudal slaves attached to the land but having none for themselves. Of course wealthy people with lands and factories, and business get attached to a bunch of stuff that they don’t actually want. But their sense of comfort and security is so persistently undercut that they are eventually left with no choice but to fight back; to insist on their identity, to defend their boundaries, to stake their claim. Of course there is something of the swagging free cowboy. It seems to be pretty good for the kind of person who has everything but is till not happy. The Sun rulership of Krittika seems to rise them up without giving them much faith that the foundation is secure. They are caught in cycles of 6th house blame and accusation, they end up putting much of their effort into work as a way of both avoiding the troubled home life, while also exacerbating the lack of security and sense of belonging..
Saturn in Aries 5th house
Ashwini – Bharani – Krittika
The Classics – Saturn in Aries 5th house
Rules the 2nd & 3rd houses for Sagittarius ascendant.
Phala Deepika Saturn in 5th house: “Will make a person roam about bereft of children, wealth and happiness. He will be crooked and evil-minded.”
Jataka Bharnam Saturn in 5th house: “Makes the native weak bodied, constantly suffering from some disease, devoid of wealth, semen, happiness and children. The native lives in a hostel for his education, and may study electronics. His intelligence follows science and reality. Fertility will be diminished.”
B.V. Raman Saturn in the 5th house: “Evil-minded and stupid; sickly and weak; poor and hated by others. This combination denotes sorrows through children. Fortune will be variable; he will have a hypocritical nature. Quarrels with friends and relatives and sorrow in domestic life.”
BPHS 2nd lord in the 5th house: “The native will be wealthy and his sons will be intent on earning wealth.”
B.V. Raman 2nd lord in the 5th house: “Hating family, sensual, not spending money even on children, lacks manners or etiquette. If well-fortified there will be unexpected acquisition of wealth through lotteries, crosswords or the favour of rulers.”
BPHS 3rd lord in the 5th house: “The native will be blessed with sons and be worthy. If conjunct or aspected by malefic planets, one’s partner will be of cruel nature. When the 3rd lord is debilitated here, one’s partner is of especially cruel nature and without religion. The native does not get a son and if one is born it’s likely to die. He will also get mental troubles due to his brother. If the 3rd house is related to the 5th house, the native is accomplished in physics or engineering because of the combination between the hands and the mind. Drawing, painting as well as education related to arms and weapons may also result.”
B.V. Raman 3rd lord in the 5th house: “Not much pleasure will be derived from children but one will be financially well-off in life. Friction will prevail in domestic life. If well disposed the native will be highly benefited by his brothers. He will carry on agriculture operations on a large scale or he will be adopted by a rich family. He will also shine well in government service.”

Education related to arm and weapons. Gamblers who may risk everything. Not good for children or wealth. Doc Holliday & Lee Harvey Oswald are interesting in that the myths of them as being gunslingers is now believed to be merely myth. In both cases it was someone else who shot most of the people ascribed to them.
Doc Holliday: A dentist, gunslinger, gambler. Saturn Mahadasha: 1852 – 1871 (Till age 20): He would have studied, rhetoric, grammar, Latin, French & ancient greek in his school . Age 15: Probably Saturn Rahu, his mother died of Tuberculosis. He put more energy into books and study after that. He finished dentistry school shorty after Saturn Mahadasha ended.

They have a dark, tumultuous and dangerous way of getting what they want. Their courage can help them to face life or death They will likely avoid having children of their own and they may not be able. They are not much fun, or rather, what they do for fun is very hard work on long term projects.
They bring their dark, crude, common language to centre stage. Very little expressiveness, poor diet, step-children or adopted children. They can be unoriginal and uninspiring but perhaps still find some appeal to the masses through fire and brimstone. Usually considered fairly dry gruff people. All they have is the podium that props them up; and it could be nothing more than a soap box; though beneficial placement can give nicer decoration. Casts dark shadows over their face, reduces fertility. Having their own children is unlikely; especially for women.
Naomi Campbell: Saturn conjunction Mercury, aspected by Jupiter & Ketu. She studied dance from age 3 – 16. She is not a nice person. In Sept. 1993 her modelling agency dropped her saying “no amount of money or prestige could further justify the abuse.” She was accused of assault 11 times between 1998 – 2009, but only convicted 4 times.
Pope John XXIII: Conjunct Jupiter, aspected by Venus & Mercury. This Saturn probably helped influence his decision to join the secular Franciscan Order at a young age,

Saturn in Aries 6th house
Ashwini – Bharani – Krittika
The Classics – Saturn in Aries 6th house
Rules the 3rd & 4th houses for Scorpio ascendant.
Phala Deepika Saturn in 6th house: “Makes the native a glutton, wealthy, vanquished by the enemy, stubborn but with a strong sense of self respect. Native develops neurotic troubles.”
Jataka Bharnam Saturn in 6th house: “The native conquers his enemies, appreciates the qualities of the other person, obeys the commands of brahmins, has a strong body, strong digestion and good appetite. This Saturn is considered auspicious, they do not fear thieves, profit from cattle, instil fear in their enemies, obtain prosperity, and many followers and attendants as well as kindness from the king. One suffers from windy disease. A weak Saturn with malefic influence hare can bring very inauspicious effects: difficulties in profession and losses to servants.”
B.V. Raman Saturn in the 6th house: “Quarrelsome; obstinate; voracious eater; foe-less; courageous. If afflicted, one gets sick due to privation or neglect; troubles through subordinates. If Mars is the afflicting planet, dangerous illness and operations. If Rahu afflicts, the person suffers from hysteria. Well aspected denoted gain through contract work, mining, masonry, etc.”
Chamatkar Chintamani Saturn in the 6th house: “The native has nothing to fear from enemies, thieves or even the king. A matchless warrior, contrary and combative. Blessed with cattle wealth. Trouble through maternal uncles. He is well known, generous, and prosperous, but not without some trouble. Fond of merit, noble, a protector, strong and healthy with a good appetite. He is recognised by enemies, blessed with sons and has respect for the learned. He is sensual, can face heavy odds and has plenty of attendants and followers. The native is robust, healthy, powerful, fortunate with much pleasure, jewellery, conveyance in life. He is learned, rich, happy, free from enemies, a favourite of the government, loving wife and lucky sons. The native has few relatives or brethren. He annihilates his enemies and possesses growing wealth.
If Saturn is weak by sign or placement the native is denied progeny and will remain weak and the enemy will be mean; in other signs he is triumphant. If in own sign or exalted the native will be a good writer, wealthy, lustful and potent with a charming personality. With a well placed Saturn he will have no enemies. The native may suffer from diabetes and/or venereal disease, but he will be brave and intelligent.
If Mars conjoins there will be much travelling abroad, makes a poor raja yoga, effort is fruitless, happiness is denied, but the native will be industrious. If Saturn is lord of the 8th there will be losses, biliousness and much pain and suffering from wounds. This native has to pass through many ailments that are beyond his control: privation, want, or neglect leading to sorrow and disappointment. If afflicted by the luminaries incurable disease like rheumatism. The trouble point is typically indicated by the sign Saturn is in. There is loss and trouble attendant, menials, animals, accidents and operations; circulatory problems, indigestion and debility.
Exalted or well aspected Saturn indicates strenuous or sitting work. Masonry or cement, sculpture, agriculture, excavation; gain and success through attendants. Favourable if in Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, Gemini, Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces.
There will be trouble and hinderance early in life and no help or support from any quarter. Much criticism and little gain after much work and effort. He gains through cattle wealth and takes premature retirement due to sickness. He will face economic hardship in old age; wealth, authority and fame do not come all together. In a fire sign there will be rheumatism. In an earth sign there will be heart trouble. In a water sign there will be diabetes and urinary trouble; better health after marriage.”
BPHS 3rd lord in the 6th house: “Inimical to brother, very wealthy, enmity with maternal uncle but love for maternal aunt.”
B.V. Raman 3rd lord in the 6th house: “Hates brothers and relatives and has difficulty through them, becomes rich, maternal relatives will suffer. Accepts illegal gratifications. If well disposed, the younger brother joins the army. One of the brothers becomes a successful physician. If the 6th lord also conjoins, the native becomes either a sportsman, physical cultures, or an athlete. If the 6th and 3rd are both afflicted he will suffer from diseases and be tormented by enemies and he will himself be deceitful.”
BPHS 4th lord in the 6th house: “The native will be given to wrath and theft, he will have a questionable character, be self-willed and vicious. This is a very inauspicious placement for any ascendant. Disputes over land, quarrels with tenants and people living in his house, and diminished popularity. Vehicle accident is common. These natives are often adopted. For Taurus ascendant debilitated Sun will cause a great lack of happiness, dejection, mother will not be well disposed and one remains sickly. The same will happen in Scorpio ascendant when Saturn is debilitated in 6th: the native will suffer great misery and sad consequence. Exalted Mars in 6th house: is said to be the only exception to this suffering.”
B.V. Raman 4th lord in the 6th house: “Short-tempered and mean. He will have dissimulating habits, evil thoughts and intentions. Always roaming about.” Kuhu Yoga: 4th lord in the 6th, 8th or 12th house: “The native will be bereft of mother, conveyances, friends, happiness, ornaments, relations. The person will be unemployed and without a place of living having lost the one owned by him or her associating with low people of the opposite sex.”

Saturn Ashwini 6th House
They don’t have much of a childhood, they have responsibilities and a tight schedule from a young age. It may be simple chores around the house, or it child be dance, martial arts, survival. And in the 6th house it can certainly be about survival: don’t rock the boat, don’t poke the bear who is already angry. And Saturn is causing a vata imbalance so these folks are all over the place, and they’re Scorpio natives so they are into everything. Discipline becomes a very powerful force in their lives, but it can be demanding a lot from children. They really have to be perfect; and a Scorpio native is anything but perfect. They can become good at hiding their problems, they are not likely to ask for help.
There is probably a lot of tension in the home, a kind of civi war, the neighbourhood is no better; just see normal activity like waking home or being home can be life threatening. It might also come to the child to be the adult and take care of mother (or parents). Poor neighbourhood, trouble in school, with thee police. Home can be so infested with criminals as to be a jail, perhaps a simmering civil war or even all out war in the homeland.
Saturn in Aries is very physical work and physical suffering in the 6th house. The 6th house is the stomach, so there will be trouble with digestion and probably poor breathing. There could also be trouble with the spine. Since fight or flight is triggered so often they might have hormonal imbalance, especially if Venus & Moon are also harmed in the chart. We might also think about the pineal in Aries, Thyroid in 3rd house & Thymus, immune system in 4th house, the heart, the lungs, the chest. Addictive tendencies can also come with this Saturn placement (drugs, alcohol, steroids, uppers, downers; they can be a little manic – depressive. They have a powerful will that can go about life despite great danger. But you don’t want to be their enemy because they can be very vengeful, when the time a place is right; and they can wait a long time, but that time will come. They can put equal energy into healing themselves through the gym, exercise, physical movement. High Vata & high pitta can make them disagreeable people, and their Scorpio nature can make them both physically and psychologically dangerous. They have a dark mentality. Disputes, litigating and divorce can drag out for a long time. Laziness and apathy can delay taking action to address the troubles in life, but once they do, they are sure to complete the mission successfully.
They can excel in physical activities like dance or martial arts, survival, military, sports. The body becomes too hard and wiry, arms like twisted steel cables, back and abs rippling with pure muscle. Like a thoroughbred (Ashwini), a sexual animal (Bharani), like a toy soldier (Krittika). Saturn is aspecting their sexual instincts in the 8th house giving them some caution and keeping them safe. Also aspecting the 12th house to keep them on their feet and pinch their toes a little bit. He also helps to bring some moksha since these natives are typically exhausted by the time they get to bed. Of course this also restricts their bed pleasure since they just go to sleep (but this depends on Jupiter and other 12th house influences His aspect on 3rd house gives them a fairly dry mentality, they are busy, they don’t have a lot of time. Their crew or team mates are all work related, to it helps working in teams, crew. Their narratives can be all about work and responsibility, duties, staying focused so you don’t die.
Property crime, property disputes, war. Home may be a ramshackle hut in any neighbouring place: the edge of town, the next town, the next country are all possible. The ground is likely rocky and infertile. May suffer poverty early in life, reform school or something like that. Possibly had to miss school to care for elder parents or go live with mother’s siblings. Can give a dirty criminal mind, steeped in blame and accusations. Criminal gangs are also possible. Divorces, illness, war, disagreements can drag out forever, unmoving; unchanging. Problems with throat and lungs. This position can stabilise the marital contract by resisting divorce through t he combination of fear of break up and loss of contract; but also fear of starting anything new. Home life is very spartan and deprived.

Saturn in Bharani 6th House
They don’t have much of a childhood, they have responsibilities and a tight schedule from a young age. It may be simple chores around the house, or it child be dance, martial arts, survival. And in the 6th house it can certainly be about survival: don’t rock the boat, don’t poke the bear who is already angry. They are constantly being pushed, insulted, shamed, poked, provoked, and challenged. It doesn’t help that parents and siblings and even that close group of people they call their friends are all trying to pull them down. A rather catty group, sharp claws and knife in the back at any opportunity. It’s like being in a war zone, but since Venus & Mars are involved in the Nakshatra and the sign, it could be a battle of the sexes, a choreographed battle that happens over and over again. These peole can be really punishing on theri own body. They will likely be full of pain.
Poor collapsing home; broken home. Criminal mentality, criminal gangs, or younger brother may be a criminal. May have grown up with some criminality in the home. One may go to jail, or a group home or merely go to live with the sick or the exploited. Somehow will become stuck in a very long lasting dispute. They are often called to serve the less fortunate, trouble youth, or the criminal element. Lawyers, doctors, fighters will face problems with approval boards and associations.
It seems there might be a chance of blood poisoning or led poisoning. They will certainly have digestive issues. poor digestion and conception, always exhausted, pain stiffness, low back issues. Something along the line of fibromyalgia is possible, pain in the body. What ever the problems they face, they will be chronic, long breakup will bring the fear of death. They will be stuck in a cycle of blame and accusation. A long litigation is likely at some point.
We might note that with all the artists on the list who have this, it was the action of their brush stroke which was the key to their work like a dance, like martial art that communicates with gestures. A narrative of violence, crime, exploitation,

This yoga karaka Saturn can give long durable relationships, but would mostly be based on fear of being alone or loosing home, family, children. This Saturn influences people towards a more conservative view point; relationships that are bound by duty. A partner may be just for home and children and that’s it. Otherwise it can be a very dry relationships. Hardly a relationship at all really. It can be possessive without much real heart.
Men might suffer from some degree or impotence. They might also have a general fear of the other, a fear of going out into the world. Marriage often comes into their life much later. When they do, they will take their marriage vow very seriously and will likely have a great responsibility for a sick or mentally ill partner or child.

Skeletons int he closet, dark secrets. Strong need to hide themselves. They many have experienced trauma that makes them disassociate themselves with who they were when the trauma happened. As a survival mechanism they become someone else; they impose this other, stronger, identity over top of themselves, Possibly bi-polar. Sexual dysfunction, impotence, infertility, frigidity; but this can also go the other way and get a little freaky, secretive. Pope Pius IX: Saturn Mahadasha 1827 – 1846: 1827: He was appointed Archbishop. 1828 he was moved to a nicer church and made a Cardinal. He was elected Pope months after the Saturn period ends.

Strict punitive father figures. They can have very dark beliefs and a distinct lack of faith beyond the sticks and stones world. Father figures are likely old and sick and one is likely to feel some responsibility to care for one’s father in old age. But father figure may also proposition improper sexual acts regardless of gender or age. The sense of guilt can be a powerful tool of manipulation, possibly utilised by the father or guru figures.
Dick Cheney: Saturn conjunction Jupiter, no aspects. Mars in own house. He had a heart attack or arterial blockage almost every major or minor Saturn period as the Saturn-Jupiter conjunction causes blockages and cholesterol affecting arterial flow. The 9th house is typically known as the house of blood pressure. With Saturn & Jupiter together this flow is being blocked by deposits of fat. His Sun is also in the 6th house. Moon Saturn dasha Oct 2018 – May 2020 sold his hone in 2019 for a loss of about $500 000 compared to what he paid for it.

The dark villain.
Bob Dylan fortune is lifted up by the power of the Saturn-Mars exchange. His fortune came from singing about broken hearts and fucked up relationships; selling his soul to the devil for a buck. This Saturn also sits heavily on his Moon giving the effect of a long slow emotional burn. And do doubt some scandalous relationships with younger women. But by this point the world will have come to expect nothing less from the late, great Bob Dylan.

The Classics – Saturn in Aries 10th house
Rules 7th & 8th houses for Cancer ascendant.
Jataka Bharnam: “Saturn debilitated (or in enemy sign) in 10th house makes a person cruel, very thrifty, earning through very ordinary labour or service.”
Phala Deepika Saturn in 10th house: “The native will be a king or minister, or depend on agriculture. He will be brave wealthy and famous.”
Jataka Bharnam Saturn in 10th house: “Makes a prime minister of the kings court, exceptionally prudent, courteous and official manner, chief of villages, officer of cities, extremely clever dexterous and wealthy. They make slow progress in their career, lack happiness from father, perform religious celebrations with cheer and according with family tradition.”
B.V. Raman Saturn in the 10th house: “The native becomes a ruler or minister. He will be an agriculturist, brave, rich and famous. He will be dispassionate and work for the down-trodden masses. He will be judicious and work in the capacity of a judge. The native visits scared rivers and shines and becomes an aesthetic later in life. His career is marked by sudden elevations and depressions. If associated with the 8th lord in a malefic navamsha, the native gets a tyrannical superior officer.”
Chamatkar Chintamani Saturn in the 10th house: “The native gains a livelihood slowly, wins at war, misuses judicial and administrative powers when granted under the influence of this Saturn. Death of parents in childhood. Lives on goats milk and earns by his own hands. A hard life. A treasurer or judge with powers to do justice. Denied patrimony. Saturn dasha brings royal status, always happy, noble, honoured, affectionate. He will be a minister, curious, wise, and wealthy. If in Pisces he will be immoral and perverse with wicked sons, but takes Sanyas. If weak or in an enemy sign the native will be cruel and miserly, living by service, greedy and bilious, obstacles to work and progress. Maraka for father; trouble for mother. Gain and success through the body; conveyance and friends are denied. If influenced by benefics there will be success. Fortune after 36 if in a kendra, public service, social worker, capable to run government offices; many friends and much honour. A senior district officer. Interested in agriculture, a king or a minister, gallant, reputed. A discriminative and intelligent commander, affectionate and loyal attendants, maintains status in foreign lands, fearless and proud. The native goes for a holy dip at age 25.
“This Saturn indicates power, pride, ambition, and lust for material and worldly gain. If well aspected and positioned their perseverance and industry will ensure success. They might have slow progress, but they will gain by strength of character. A favourable Mercury influence indicates government officials, land surveyors, managers, lawyers, scientists, geologist, architecture, mining, engineers, and other employment which requires care, skill, diligence, patience and great effort over time.
“Affliction or unfavourable placement, denoted adversity after success; absence of opportunity. For businessmen there will be financial setbacks, dishonour to professionals, defeat to politicians through failure to gain popular support. Affliction from Mercury indicates menial labour or service positions like coal handler or gardener. Saturn in Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, Gemini, Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces gives favourable results; but not in other signs. Separation from parents is almost sure — death, adoption, travel, business conditions, change of vocation, setbacks or imprisonment — reason may be any. There is demotion, suspension, termination, imprisonment, and chronic diseases are familiar gifts under an afflicted Saturn. Father and son cannot progress under the same roof. If Saturn is in Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, or Gemini the native is a teacher, administrator, occult scientist. If in Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn, Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces, Libra and Aquarius he is a Sanyasi or a writer, astrologer or preacher. If in Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, Gemini, Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces the native might be a lawyer, advocate or senior judge. Trouble through family, sensual, reputation as both sexologist and vedantist.”
BPHS 7th lord in the 10th house: “The native’s wife will not remain under his control. The native himself will be religious and gifted with wealth and sons etc.”
B.V. Raman 7th lord in the 10th house: “The native will flourish in a profession abroad or his career might involve constant travelling. One will have a devoted and faithful partner who is also likely to be employed and contributing the family income, or be helpful to the natives career. If afflicted, the natives partner may be over-ambitious, but without sufficient capacity. Consequently, the natives career may suffer and deteriorate.”
BPHS 8th lord in the 10th house: “The native will not have paternal bliss, he will be a tale-bearer bereft of livelihood. If there is benefic aspect, these evils will not mature. The native may deal in scraps or dead things. Raja yoga can give work in life insurance or archeology, as well as work relates to coal, metal, minerals mined from beneath the earth.”
B.V. Raman 8th lord in the 10th house: “Penury and heavy debt will befall the native, misfortune will follow him at every step. If the 8th lord is weak or falls in the 6th, 8th or 12th navamsha the intensity of misfortune is reduced. If the 8th lord is severely afflicted, the native may suffer physical debility, disease, disfiguration, weak constitution and no bodily comfort. He will be the target of displeasure of superiors and trouble from government will cause worry.”

May use a conspiracy to gain power unearned. Once they get leadership they will be there forever. Intensity hard workers, They will be married to their work, but will face many obstacles, self doubt, self-criticism, anxiety, over-work, over stressed, exhaustion. They will suffer greatly over their reputation which could be taking quite the nose dive after the expansive Jupiter dasha. They are likely to have digestive trouble, and since this is the 10th house there will be trouble with the skeletal system and knees. The anxiety is like to contribute to a tightening of the chest and breathing. Partner might also have health problems in Saturn periods. Due to 8th house ownership these people should avoid doing anything they don’t want the world to know about. The might be attacked by their enemies, reviled,
We should keep in mind that although this Saturn is in debilitation, it does not necessarily hurt their reputation. Saturn brings fear, anxiety and obstacles to test us. They become workaholics, probably a bit miserable to be around in this period due to their pessimism, but as long as they keep driving forward they will get through it. Al Pacino became known as a gangster in his Sun Saturn period,
Bold pioneering leaders who demands harsh discipline. They are not kind or easy leaders; they can be harsh and punitive. They can work very hard, sacrificing their health and themselves in pursuit of their career reputation objectives. But everyone suffers from their impatience with constant delays. It takes a long time for the world to take them seriously and they world hard to build a professional image.
Al Pacino: Ve-Sa (21 years old) Nov 1961 – Jan 1965: His mother died at the beginning of this period, and he had already been arrester during Ve Ju Su Sa on a weapons charge a year earlier. In the following Ve-Me period he joined the actors guild and attempted to change his life. Su Sa period they did the shooting for the Godfather and it was released. 15 March 1972. (Su Sa Ke Ra; the next day Jupiter gave him his fortune as a gangster). In Mo Sa (1979-1980) he played a lawyer defending a guilty judge as well as many innocent clients; he seek to balance justice, he followed that up with a movie as a detective working in the gay sub-culture trying to catch a serial killer. I was unable to find anything about his 1987-88 Ma Sa period, but in Rahu Saturn period he was in Donnie Brasco, Devil’s Advocate & Any Given Sunday. He was in 6 movies during Ju Sa period.
Tucker Carlson has Mars in Scorpio reversing this debilitation so although half the population considered him an ignorant religious fundamentalist for his conservative view; he has been one of the most watched programs on television. He was prime time all through his Jupiter Mahadasha. As soon as Saturn started, Apr. 24, 2023, he was fired from Fox News and sued for voicing his opinion on Twitter: breach of contract. The political left is on a full attack against Tucker and after such a nice Jupiter period, it may be a huge shock for him. Moon Saturn in 1976 is when his Mother left the family and he never saw her again.
Tucker Carlson: Yoga Karaka Mars is in Scorpio 5th house. This can lead to a big cash with established authority figures and leaders. Although they might tow the line for most of their lives, they will take a more independent turn later on in life. A sudden and unexpected change in their career. This can often be like starting over and it can be a long road to earn ones place back in the top spot.
Tina Turner Saturn Mahadasha July 1987 – July 2006 (age 47 – 67): Saturn conjunction Ketu. Depositor Mars is in exchange with Saturn alleviating the debilitation. She originally started her career with here partner Ike Turner, whose she eventually married, had a child with him, and adopted his two boys, while he adopted her other child with another man, She later moved to Europe to be closer to her second boyfriend (It might be noted that Mars, Saturn & Jupiter are all in the 4th house from their own house.) When we consider this Saturn from the Moon perspective, we find it in the 12th house from the moon which takes here away. From the Moon, this Saturn is also Yog-karaka planet finding her fortune and her work far away from her home.
At 47 she was old to be doing what she was doing. But she was always sexy; she just had that appeal and that kind of charisma. Was she driven but a feeling of never doing enough, never good enough. She worked hard, was on the road almost continuously, she revealed the most intimate parts of her life.

They will have to work hard to build their reputation slowly over time, and they usually do not have a good reputation. They may have to bear a very difficult relationship; perhaps beauty and the beast type scenario. Secrets and scrutiny of leadership. They will be quite resistant to taking leadership roles. It’s likely that they may partake in illicit relationships in the workplace. Marriage relations will not be good. They will be underpaid and under appreciated in the workplace; long hours, hard work, likely causing stress and perhaps mental problems. Work may be labour, service,

Bobby Hatfield: Saturn conjunct Jupiter, aspected by Moon. His 2nd wife struggled with Lupus. Singer for the Righteous Brothers. “Unchained Melody,” & ‘You’ve lost that Loving Feeling.”. Died in his sleep after cocaine use caused a heart attack. Significant blockage of the coronary artery. Saturn Mahadasha 1951 – 1970 (Age 11 – 30): In High School he was student body president 1957-58 (Saturn Ketu). Ha sang in the choir, played baseball and was even scouted for pro, but he went towards music. Graduated high school in 1958 and went to California State University. I suspect he studied music. He met his singing partner for the Righteous Brothers in University and (presumably after graduation in 1962, joined a band called the Paramours and they soon signed to a small record label (Saturn Moon). The band broke up in 1963 and Hatfield & Medley formed the Righteous Brothers (still Saturn Moon). His first son was born Aug. 27, 1964 (Saturn Mars). They also got their first #1 hit in 1964 with “You’ve Lost hat Loving Feeling.” Oct. 30, 1965 (Saturn Rahu) he marries the mother of his first son. In 1965, he sang solo for the groups “Unchained Melody” (Probably Saturn Mars) In 1966 (Saturn Rahu) they switched record labels and had another hit with “You’re my Soul and Inspiration.” The Duo broke up in 1968 (Saturn Jupiter) but Hatfield kept the Righteous Brothers name and continued playing with a new partner, but they had mild success. He got into Television in 1969 in an old western (Saturn Jupiter).

Unexpected accidents and injuries at work. The work place is usually a dangerous area where anything can happen. They typically work with a partner in some way though they are typically considered “free agents” who call their own shots. Of course knee problems, or even deeper problems of the skeletal structure are likely to be apparent. With just a little more negative influence this position can have real explosive potential. Phineas P. Gage worked for the railway, with explosives and heavy iron. He is best known for an explosion that shot a steel rod up through his chin and right through his brain without killing him. The hospital had to dislodge it from his head, he survived, but became much more unruly and lost some of his memory. The went on the road as a side show afterwards as he was unable to maintain proper employment. Partnerships with low, crude, unruly people. One-to-one negotiations are public and the result is open, anything can happen; even death. This is the position of a hard labourer, military, a fighter, a killer, a mad-man.

Unexpected, unearned gains by theft, or other illegal means. They might be beggars living from the state or they may have a patron keeping them alive.
David Eggers: Saturn conjunct Mars, aspected by Jupiter & Ketu. His elder sister studied Law at UCLA but killed herself shortly after his autobiographical book the family trials came out.
Patrice Alegre: Saturn conjunct Moon, aspected by Jupiter. Venus Saturn 1987 – 1990: Conducted at least seven brutal rapes and murders. He would often begin by trying to seduce them, but when they didn’t reciprocate rape and strangle them to death. His first victim was a co-worker on Feb. 21, 1989 (Venus Saturn Mars). Jan 25, 1990 another girl. He is also suspected of a Sept. 23 rape/murder. Sun Saturn 1997: This was a manic period for him. In March he made a misstep and didn’’t kill the victim, allowing here to report the incident to police. On June 14 he offered his handyman services to a single mother in exchange for board: four days later he raped and strangled her. On September 4 he used the same ploy on another woman. On Nov. 2 he set the woman’s house on fire afterwards. He was arrested shortly after and charged with 6 counts of murder and 5 counts of rape. One psychologist put forward a theory of “displaced matricide” for his behaviour; it’s likely he suffered sexual abuse from his mother. He was certainly a psychopath and a malignant narcissist. One can only imagine what he himself likely went through during his own Ketu Saturn dasha when he was only a child.

Will have a negative effect on friendships and one may be stabbed in the back or deceived by a friends. Friends will likely come from the underclasses, friends from work, old friends. Father can be a strong and unfair disciplinarian which may cause excessive bitterness.
Roosevelt died among friends while they were sitting to take a photograph.
Rutherford Hayes: His father was a storekeeper who died 10 weeks before Rutherford was born; his mother never remarried. His mother’s younger brother took became a father figure to him. Abolitionist President of the USA. The election he won was heavily contested. As promised, this Saturn did quite well for him since Mars is in his own 6th house. His friendships with blacks was not acceptable to the wider audience, but it’s also what got him elected. He was defending refugee slaves in court. Saturn Mahadasha December 1868 – December 1887: First Elected position was 1868 in Ohio state legislature. He fought for universal suffrage and the ratification of the 15th amendment in Ohio. President from 1877 – 1881 but due to the agreement made that awarded him the presidency he could not run for a second term. He sought to retire from public life in 1872. In 1873 stock panic, his uncle died and the family moved. Oct. 12, 1875 he was again elected as Governor of Ohio. He was later elected leader of the Federal Republican Party and ran in the 1876 election, but many irregularities and a close election forced the formation of an election commission to decide the fate of 20 districts. The ended up awarding all 20 to Hayes, elevating him to President on March 2, 1877, 04:10 by a margin of 185 – 184. Democrats never accepted the election results and he was referred to as ‘Rutherfraud’ for the next four years. July 1877, rail workers walked off the job trigger the Great railway strike. He sent the army in to quell the strike and bring order. He reformed the civil service by conduction exams for government positions rather than people being appointed based on political affiliation. It wasn’t until July 1878 that he was able to remove those appointed cilvil servant bosses who resisted the reform. Many Chinese were flooding into America at this time, and they were often blamed for the economic woes caused by the Panic of 1873 & The Great Railway Stick seemed to have given people an excuse to attack the Chinese. He also had to deal with several Indian uprising due to detrimental government policy and land use issues. September 1880, he began a 71 day tour of the Western USA. He kept the White House alcohol free and did not serve alcohol to guest. He declined to seek re-election in 1880.
Waldemar Rosler: Died of apparent suicide at age 37. He was a drafted into the war, worked as an administrative officer but did not support the nazis. It’s likely he tried to undermine them and may have been killed.
Vincent van Gogh: Probably bi-polar. He died by a self inflicted gunshot wound to the abdomen. It’s also possible that he was accidentally shot by a friend of his. His Sun Saturn period went from 1884 – 1885. This was an especially productive period for his art, though due to the dark somber tones it was not successful. It was likely in this period that he painted the “Potato Eaters.” This debilitated Saturn can give friends in low places. He had an older brother who was also given the name Vincent, but it was a still-birth. 1874 – 1877 was Venus Saturn Period. It began in the summer while he was living in London as an art dealer. He returned home after being rejected by his landladies daughter. His resentment for the material world was building and he was falling-out of favour with the art business which he felt commodified art too much. He got a job transfer to Paris, but was dismissed from his job soon after. He then took an unpaid teaching job but was not offered a paid

Phineas P. Gage had an iron rod shoot up through his head while tamping some gunpowder in a hole while building the railroad. Saturn Ashwini 12th House
This Saturn affects their faith and their career. In both cases it can be a heavy load to bear. They will need lots of time alone, away from everything for a long time. Even if they are wealthy they will want to go
They may carry a huge burden of responsibility, self doubt, exhaustion, post-traumatic stress. They might be afraid of being left alone. On a long pilgrimage or hiatus, but it could also be some time in prison or rehab; a very simple facility that might use novel approach, dance or art therapy; but ultimately, karma yoga, service will be the main means of seeking salvation. These natives can be good meditators if they don’t fall asleep. This Saturn can bring some laziness, it makes everything just a little bit more difficult. They might be like a pack horse carrying a bunch of crap around. Several go on expedition, mountain treks, pilgrimages that go on for 1000s of kilometres.
They might also work in a nursing home, prison, hostel or campground. It supports offering hard labour as service. They might travel disputed territory, hot, dry, few signs of life, desert places, dangerous places. There might be fear of abduction, getting stuck away from home, loosing oneself, or of getting lost. There will likely be some vata, some anxiety due to aspect on the 6th house: slow digestion, nervousness, coldness, hardness. This Saturn can give a hard restriction to expenditure, loss, liberation. There is not much freedom due to the constant duties that need to be done for work, which may be because the native spent the whole day daydreaming when they should have been working. But they can loose themselves in long repetitive movements, like walking 30km per day.
They might appear free and happy on the outside while harbouring deep subconscious fears which can be paralysing. Life can feel like being stuck in a nightmare. Mars aspect or influence can add antipsychotics or other powerful poisons and drugs.
