Jupiter goes into exaltation right after punarvasu, in pada 1 of Pushya at 5° Cancer.

Jupiter here brings out something of a Robin Hood persona’; stealing from the rich and to the poor. They find a way to justify their criminal activity somehow. Jupiter has a way of throwing a warm glow over the whole scene which is being projected. This is probably where they signal their virtue to the strongest. Warren Buffett says he will give away his fortune to charity. Joe Biden won the election justifying the violence and riots while offering more and more free money to the masses. Jupiter is vargottama In Cancer which suggests open borders which may translate globally due to the 9th house placement. (I should note that Trump’s Saturn in the same 4th pada prefers a closed border; but we’ll talk more about borders and boundaries through the Cancer nakshatras. Oliver Cromwell: Jupiter Mahadasha 1639 – 1655: King Charles I reconvened parliament after 11 years  in order to raise funds for war. Oliver Cromwell had a seat in parliament which was likely paid for by puritan benefactors. He moved his family to London in 1640. By 1642 The English civil war broke out between the king and the parliament. This lasted about 4 years; until May 1646. Cromwell led his troops to glory against the royal army, but was also accused of wanton killing of surrendered troops. By 1648 civil war broke out again. The king was executed in Jan 1649 and the Common wealth of England was declared. Various rebellions still needed to be quelled. Gifted tactical commander, cavalry.  Jupiter mahadasha 1849 – 1865: He had just made it through the US – Mexico war. From spring of 1851 to 1861, he taught at the Virginia Military Institute. was disliked as a teacher, with his students nicknaming him “Tom Fool”, believing that Jackson “could never be anything more than a martinet colonel, half soldier and half preacher.”  When Virginia seceded from the United States in May 1861 after the Battle of Fort Sumter, Jackson joined the Confederate States Army. He distinguished himself commanding a brigade at the First Battle of Bull Run in July, providing crucial reinforcements and beating back a fierce Union assault. Thus Barnard Elliott Bee Jr. compared him to a “stone wall”, which became his enduring nickname.  He performed exceptionally well in various campaigns over the next two years.  On May 2, 1863, Jackson was accidentally shot by Confederate pickets. He lost his left arm to amputation. Weakened by his wounds, he died of pneumonia eight days later. His death proved a severe setback for the Confederacy.
