Sun in Pisces: Purva Bhadrapada, Uttara Bhadrapada, Revati

Bepin Behari Sun in Pisces: “There will be the inner urge for complete dedication to the supreme and full surrender of all personal considerations at the alter of the universal spirit. In case the individual is able to adjust and arrange his personal life to obey this inner compulsion, there could be peace and harmony in life: he will feel his destiny fulfilled.”

Sun in Purva Bhadrapada

Dissenting opinion, contrary. They are one in a million swimming against the stream, making their own way with their own special mix of science and spirituality. They are often public speakers or performers; people who are the centre of attention among the masses. They express themselves as a spiritual person. A kind of scientist who believes in god; practical but spiritual. There can be something a little two faced about them as they seek to embrace both their masculine and feminine side. Many yogis, Shivaists and tantrics have this Sun, this way of expressing themselves. They typically have some kind of dedicated spiritual practice they follow every morning since sun is the one who get you up in the morning. Father figures can be hard men, working class but still spiritual like many of the blue collar Shivaists I meet in India.; otherwise the father is likely to be a political activist. They can also be a little harsh in the way they express themselves, there’s a bit a spark here, electricity jumping over the gap, connecting the spaced between. They might be especially good at exploiting gaps in power. They are often social reformers, revolutionaries or counter culture pundits. They can be very direct as they seek to connect to the elite powerful people of the world. They will often rise through the help of their friends though they might not acknowledge the help they get. They can be a little self centred this way. They are like the central server, the central source of power within the larger network of fan base. When they learn to combine their power with self sacrifice will they discover the true source of power.

Purva Bhadrapada seems to connect us with some circus energy, like that moment when the spot light gets turned on you on the stage, that moment of shock, chaos all around, dancing wildly like a bunch of hippies; and then there’s the Sun in Purva Bhadrapada unmoved by it all, perhaps egging it on, but doing their own thing like a kirtan wala.

There is a similarity to Purva and Uttara bhadrapada in that they remain stuck on things that are ancient history. They are both sensitive to trauma, deep grief and regret later in life, holding on the ancient and murky past. They might do well expressing themselves though this medium, the past, through period costumes and that kind of thing. They are both imagining a Utopia, but the difference is in the type of Utopia. In Purva Bhadrapada everything is allowed, it’s only a question of supply and demand; pure hedonism. These natives may express themselves like an object in the marketplace. Purva Bhadrapada is more like the circus that Pinocchio end up in where everyone became donkeys from following their desires. Think about the Kali we sometimes see sitting on the donkey at places like Bhang shops. Or the ginger bread house of Hansel and Gretel, or in modern times this can be it’s the hedonism of unlimited consumption, sex drugs and rock and role Krishna’s open maw devouring everything.

Uttara Bhadrapada is more likely to recreate the murky stories of King Arthur or Lord Rama. That both Captain Kirk and Dr Spock have this Sun they would probably like science fiction like Star Wars. Jules Verne, Star Trek all kinds of alternative and utopian, fantasy worlds.

Astrology King Sun conjunct Markab: “Energetic, unlucky, impermanent martial honours, disappointed ambitions, accidents, sickness. Preferment in religion, science, artistic matters, writings, and all matters dealing with the public. The native is mentally keen, energetic, but generally subject to setbacks and some disappointments. The native generally engages in unusual, or controversial issues, careers. Complacency is the keynote of most of these natives. Negatively, they are subject to accidents, disappointed ambitions.”

Astrology King Sun conjunct Scheat: “Danger through water and engines, liable to accidents or drowning. Lean and infirm, many miseries (Saturn nature). Preferment in astrology, occult, and matters dealing with the public. Success follows disappointments: Natives with this conjunction should exercise caution not to get involved in questionable activities, or else legal entanglement may ensue, some serious, some not so serious, depending upon the nature of the involvement. Potentially dangerous situations could prove disastrous.”

Deep, dark, distant. A somewhat dreamy detached way of expressing themselves as if they are deep in thought. They might keep fairly quiet in company as they prefer to express themselves behind closed doors.

“God is closer to us than water is to a fish.” — St. Catherine of Siena

“Start being brave about everything. Drive out darkness and spread light. Don’t look at your weaknesses. Realise instead that in Christ crucified you can do everything.” — St. Catherine of Siena

“Build yourself a cell in your heart and go there to pray.” — St. Catherine of Siena

“When stars collide, like you and I, no shadow blocks the Sun.” — Elton John

“Rocket Man, burning out his fuse up here alone.” ― Elton John

“If you fancy living in a despondent world of unending, delusional bullshit, I really can’t recommend cocaine highly enough.” ― Elton John

“A psychologist would probably say that, as a kid, I was trying to create a sense of order in a chaotic life, with my dad coming and going and all the reprimands and rows. I didn’t have control over that, or over my mother’s moods, but I had control over the stuff in my room. Objects couldn’t do me any harm. I found them comforting. I talked to them, I behaved as if they had feelings. If something got broken, I’d feel really upset, as if I’d killed something.” ― Elton John

The light that shines from these folks is a little dark, eerie, murky. A gloomy light of the deep sea, the deep woods, deep isolation. They look out at the world like they are far away from everything, staring off far into the distance, not very present, stuck in the past a little too much. The father figure and any sense of certainty in life seems like distant dream or a figment of the imagination. In the mean time there might be someone trying to fill-in or fill the position.

If Moon conjuncts, father figures and authority figures can seem especially cruel. Try as they might the light of the Sun just can’t quite break through; as if someone has smeared vaseline over the lens. These natives also seem to have a hard time getting a break in life. In many ways they just can’t get a break in life. They tend to give their power away.

They remain stuck on things that are ancient history. They too are sensitive to trauma, stuck in the ancient and murky past. They might do well expressing themselves through this medium; period costumes and that kind of thing; recreating the murky stories of King Arthur or Lord Rama. That both Captain Kirk and Dr Spock have this Sun they would probably like science fiction like Star Wars. Jules Verne, Star Trek all kinds of alternative and utopian worlds. The Utopia of Purva Bhadrapada in more like the circus the Pinochle end up in, or the ginger bread house of Hansel and greatly, or in modern times it’s the hedonism of unlimited consumption, sex drugs and rock and role.

They might be interested in exploring caves, visualisations and these kinds of things. If they are not focused on deep underground then they are looking out to deep space.

They might suffer from insomnia. Their exhaustion darkens the features on their face to make them look a bit evil. Lost in their own fantasy world. If there are beneficial aspects there could be quite nice, however if there are negative aspects it could indicate a deep trauma. It’s like they’re looking out at the world from a cave. This deep Pisces nature combined with the Saturn rulership of this nakshatra makes with light dim and dark. With exalted Venus they will shine like a treasure at the bottom of the ocean.

They can also be good at meditation and visualisation. If other positions are favourable this can also become a kind of cosplay, or dress up from another time, from a dream of fantasy world: witches, warlocks, aliens, ghoulish people harkening back to ancient times. This is just how they like to express themselves. How many people have dressed up like Captain Kirk & Dr Spock. I would say this Sun entitles you to such expression.

The inner quest of many of these people brings them into psychology, mythology, avant-guard art, dream worlds, which they might even seek to build as architects, theatre workers, or even, as Henry Weinstein did, create a fantasy island. This Sun can also involve them in resort or spa type work. It’s all about getting away from reality. This makes them susceptible to drugs.

Supply chains are central to some of the big business owners who have this Sun. Sam Walton who founded Wall Mart & Krampad who founded Ikea. Brian Mulroney was also into shipping and freight. A couple notable Geologists have this Sun. I imagine that has lit up more than one cave.

“The first step to truly living a good and fearless life, is accepting responsibility for your actions. Accepting what part you had in any situation. Difficult, to say the least, but liberating.” — Jann Arden

“You probably won’t remember me. I’m probably an ancient history. I’m one of the chosen few who went ahead and fell for you. I’m out of vogue, I’m out of touch. I fell too fast, I feel too much. I thought that you might have some advice to give on how to be insensitive.” — Jann Arden

“My cat is completely blind. I am watching her now, sweet-pea that is, circling the kitchen floor and bumping into the kitchen chairs. She is kind of like a furry ball in a pinball machine…she bumps into something and then just turns and moves on…it makes me smile – although i know it’s just not that funny. I think i laugh because what i really feel like doing, is crying.” — Jann Arden

“At first the music almost repelled me, it was so intense, and this man made no attempt to sugarcoat what he was trying to say, or play. It was hard-core, more than anything I had ever heard. After a few listens I realised that, on some level, I had found the master, and that following this man’s example would be my life’s work.” ― Eric Clapton

“The same thing happened when I first heard Big Bill Broonzy. I saw a clip of him on TV, playing in a nightclub, lit by the light from a single lightbulb, swinging in its shade from the ceiling, creating an eerie lighting effect. The tune he was playing was called “Hey Hey,” and it knocked me out. It’s a complicated guitar piece, full of blue notes, which are what you get by splitting a major and a minor note. You usually start with the minor and then bend the note up toward the major, so it’s somewhere between the two. Indian and Gypsy music also use this kind of note bending. When I first heard Big Bill and, later, Robert Johnson, I became convinced that all rock ’n’ roll—and pop music too, for that matter—had sprung from this root.” ― Eric Clapton: Autobiography

“Was the majority right when they stood by while Jesus was crucified? Was the majority right when they refused to believe that the earth moved around the Sun and let Galileo be driven to his knees like a dog? It takes fifty years for the majority to be right. The majority is never right until it does right.” — Henrik Ibsen

“Really to sin you have to be serious about it.” “To live is to war with trolls.” “The strongest men are the most alone.” “What is the difference in being alone with another and being alone by one’s self?”— Henrik Ibsen

“It’s not only what we have inherited from our father and mother that walks in us. It’s all sorts of dead ideas, and lifeless old beliefs, and so forth. They have no vitality, but they cling to us all the same, and we can’t get rid of them.” ― Henrik Ibsen 1828-1906, Ghosts

“NORA: I must stand on my own two feet if I’m to get to know myself and the world outside. That’s why I can’t stay here with you any longer.” ― Henrik Ibsen, A Doll’s House

They develop a bit of an ego and perhaps even some celebrity status, but there can be an autistic effect. They want to go their own way, but they want to be in the middle of everything. They might feel like others want to put them away, silence them, but this will only make them all the more expressive. They are pillars of their community, the outspoken one who always thinks they know what going on, but their vision is often cloudy. There is some regality in their expression. There is a bit of “I’m the king of the castle and you’re the dirty rascal” here.

Pushkara Pada. Mystical visionaries. They can however be excellent at meditation. Some great and gentle saintly people have this Sun. They’re been in the cave too long. They are deep people who can easily go over board with things. Even a fellow like Mr Rogers went deep in his children’s shows. And then there is the incredible timeless psychological and mythological expression of Michelangelo sculptures and paintings of the heavenly worlds. Others painted similar images of utopia and the other realms with their words, their actions, the way they express themselves. Their imagination might lead them towards therapies, psychology, psychiatry, dreams and hypnotism type therapies.

Debilitation Pada. These folks might feel like they’re compromises too much of themselves. Immune system problems are possible and this might relate to the weak dreamy way they express themselves. They might have a feeling of having gone too deep, the surface seems so far away. We might notice a special kind of blurriness to photographs of these people. They might even feel better in their inner life, They might take on a persona and express themselves through that.

They can be a little slow, as if they just woke up. This can also come out in their style through bedroom attire, shawls, blankets, flowing layers of material that hides even the edges of their body, night gowns for the ladies. There is usually a certain amount of safety and security that allows them to express themselves however they want. They can be quite theatrical, you can almost never tell it what they are saying or expressing is the truth as we know it in a common way. For them, truth is only to be found in the dreamy universals.

They are usually living in their own world, artistic, dreamy, isolated, possibly a bit drunk or stoned so that everything seems a bit fuzzy, the line between dream and reality can be very thin here. Mythology, and ancient history, especially natural history, or space. Nothing that they say can ever really be verified; though there may be a consensus. They are usually warm, sensitive, humorous, and optimistic.

They are entitled to travel, to get away, a have some time alone; to express their dreams, fatties and highest ideals. Singers with a dreamlike quality to their music; music masters who fall into a deep meditative trance once they hit their stride. Channellers, guides, teachers working with children who much express themselves with expansive voice and gestures. “Follow me everyone.” The Shepard who leads his flock.

The energy here is like spring or morning; there is strong procreative potential as they patch so many things together. Crafting, using available materials to patch things together, collage, but on a grander scale we see zoos, space theme parks, natural history museums. Places for the imagination, dreamlike environments, abstract painters, impressionism, performing artists, singers, musicians, and spiritualists. They are always moving, flowing between one thing and another. Their expressions are a performance of their own. Others might wonder sometimes who (or where) is the real you.

They usually have a good sense of humour. They might be good at doing impressions or impersonations. They usually like philosophy, literature, and the arts. They’re charitable, love to travel, solo travel, exclusive retreats. Many of them share a love for nature and open spaces; they can be a little immature, or unpredictable and irresponsible.

The light of the sun here will be bright, warm, open, optimistic, but a bit fuzzy on the edges, not sharp; a dreamy image; expansive warm yellow and pink light; faded pastels and mingling watercolours.

Father may have woken you up in the morning with good cheer, or calling from a distance. He may have been away often and he will likely embody many of the qualities mentioned above.

Sun in Pisces 1st house

Rules the 6th house for Pisces ascendant.

Phala Deepika Sun in 1st house: “Leaves the person with very little hair on their head, makes him inactive, short-tempered, impetuous, tall haughty, has soiled eyes and a lean body. He is valiant, impatient and cruel hearted.”
Jataka Bharnam Sun in 1st house: “The native has thin hair, shows laziness in doing things, tends to be angry, has a very extreme temperament, is sensual or amorous, has diseases eyes, bodily dryness, is brave, lacks spirit of forgiveness and is cruel. They will suffer from bilious disorders: fever, chicken pox, croup, TB, irregular bowel movements (diarrhoea or constipation). He does not adjust well to those around him because he does not wish to conspire against anyone, and because he is frank and clear in his speech. They are prone to sudden anger but it’s short lived. He leads a life of freedom and independence as he does not like to lose his sense of originality which is lost when he works under others. They generally have righteous and moral conduct.”
B.V. Raman Sun in the 1st house: “Strong moral nature, righteous minded, ambitious, love for power and tends to be well supported by good health and vitality. Cheerfulness and optimistic temperament help to ensure popularity. It adds respect to the personality and gives lofty motives. If with Saturn or Mars, it indicates scars and a hot constitution. The blood becomes impure and will be itches all over the body: fevers, inflammations and eye afflictions should also be anticipated.”

Chamatkar Chintamani Sun in the 1st house: “The native is tall, distressed with wife, children and brethren. He suffers from biliousness, lives in a foreign land with difficulty, and has many financial ups and downs. He may not have any children, he will be happy but cruel, and will have poor appetite and defective sight. He is bold, modest, an actor, studious, diligent, and well-placed in society. He makes progress and gets good luck. If in Pisces, the native develops connection with many women. If in Leo, he suffers night-blindness, but the native is strong. If Sun is in masculine signs he will have few children and be discontented. If in female signs he will have a large family and be contented and happy. If in Aries, Leo, Sagittarius (fire signs) he is bold, unhappy and courteous; he may get measles or small pox in childhood. If in Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, or Pisces he may be an actor. If in Cancer, Scorpio, Sagittarius or Pisces the native is a scholar and a virtuous man. If in Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn (earth signs) the native will work as an underdog. Sun in Cancer attracts him to his family. Sun in scorpio makes him a good doctor. If in fire signs the native is ambitious, short-tempered, dominating and sober. If in earthy signs the native is vain, impertinent, moody. Airy signs makes the native just, large-hearted, and has artistic and literary taste. Water signs draw him to women forgetting personal good. The Sun during summer solstice brings disputes and makes him ego-centric and selfish. In winter solstice promotes divinity in the native. If exalted, well aspected or associated gives faith, confidence, natural ambition, positions of trust and influence and supports moral growth.”

BPHS 6th lord in the 1st house: “The native will be sickly, famous, inimical to his relatives, adventurous, and virtuous. If the ascendant is otherwise weakened they could be permanently disabled. But if this 6th lord is in his own or exaltation sign they will not be sick; they will love exercise, remain fixed in reality (not a dreamer), earns by hard work and is wealthy and honourable.”
B.V. Raman 6th lord in the 1st house: “If well aspected the person may join the army as a soldier of commander consistent with the strength and disposition of the planets involved. He may become a minister of war or officer concerned with prisons. He will live in the house of his maternal grandfather. If weak or otherwise afflicted the native becomes a robber, thief or leader of a criminal gang.”

A dreamy laid back personality of someone relaxing by the sea, they are loners or independent people who have perhaps been offered up as the sacrificial lamb by society (or their father) too many times. The mighty express themselves with a little OCD, they are very focused on details. They are prone to insomnia, burn out, fevers, headaches, short temper. They are not afraid to take the road less travelled. Some of these folks are into cosplay or dressing up in old fashioned ways. They like homesteading, or being a part of some religious sect that still maintains the old ways in also possible: like mennonites or the amish of the USA. Their personality is almost from a different time, or like someone who has been isolated from others. Sexual or romantic exploitation, perhaps as “the other woman” or working as an escort where the body becomes the bright centre of attention and attraction.

Sun in Pisces 2nd house

Rules the 7th house for Aquarius ascendant.

Phala Deepika Sun in 2nd house: “Deprives the native of learning, modesty and riches; and it will cause them to stammer.”
Jataka Bharnam Sun in 2nd house: “Causes the native to remain without wealth, progeny and conveyance. They are intelligent, jealous of virtuous people, and living in another mans house. They are endowed jewels, gold, and silver; gifted in rhetoric, witty, and capable of winning one his enemy through courteous conduct. If there is even little malefic influence on this Sun then the native will suffer diseases to the mouth and disorders to the eyes. Their fat will be copper coloured. They pay close attention to the cleanliness of the house and the orderly maintenance of things. They will clash often with their own people, speech is commanding, family is large, and eyes are red. There occurs enmity between brothers when the division of paternal property is made. Sun conjunct Moon in 2nd house can give alcohol addiction.”
B.V. Raman Sun in the 2nd house: “This is not a favourable position. Losses will occur from offending the authorities. He will have a diseased face. He will obtain money by industrious effort. The nature of the income depends on the nature of the sign. He will be stubborn and peevish.”

Chamatkar Chintamani Sun in the 2nd house: “The native is fortunate and will have the benefit of cattle and conveyance. He will spend profitably, disputes will arise with family members due to his wife. Investments will give setbacks. He is charitable, wealthy, wins over enemies by his dealings and behaviour, speaks logically and in sweet terms. He is neither a scholar nor courteous. He is haughty, vain and not a rich person. He stammers and cannot express himself clearly to others. If in Aries, Leo or Sagittarius the native is charitable. If in Gemini, Libra, Sagittarius, or Aquarius the native get wealth and monetary gain. If in a masculine sign the native wins over his enemies and is a fine orator.”
He may have to pay some penalty to the government. If in Aries or Leo the native does not suffer monetary. If afflicted there will be eye defect or abscess in the mouth. He will remain sick and his education will be incomplete. If aspected by benefics the native will be rich and will not suffer with any eye problems. If exalted or in own sign, the native will be rich, clear in speech and will be a learned scholar (a real Raja Yoga.) Conjunct Mercury will cause stammering. If in Taurus, Virgo or Capricorn, it does not help with the accumulation of wealth under any circumstances. The native likes to work independently, does not like service. Such a desire can be fulfilled if the lord of 2nd house is strong and not retrograde, combust or oppressed by malefics.”
This Sun gives good luck to the father who makes personal efforts. Since this is the 6th from the 9th father and son will have misunderstandings. This is a good position for lawyers and doctors. Astrologers suffer contrarily and become unpopular. Sun in Gemini, Libra, Aquarius makes the native a miser and he will lose public sympathy. If in Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces it makes the native an officer and well paid if he works in a firm. Sun in Aries, Leo or Sagittarius makes the native selfish. He is ambitious but does not want to work to achieve it. He will suffer heat in the eyes, hands and feet and will have weak eyesight. He desires for tasty food and fine clothes and will love cleanliness. If the Sun is In Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, or Pisces while the lagna lord is retrograde and posited in 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, or 12th, the native will be poor and suffer from starvation.”

BPHS 7th lord in the 2nd house: “The native will have many wives, will gain wealth through his wife and be of procrastinating nature.”
B.V. Raman 7th lord in the 2nd house: “The native gets wealth through marriage. If afflicted one may earn wealth through despicable means as trading in flesh and women, not excluding his wife. He may eat the food offered at death ceremonies and wander about seeking such foods. If the 2nd house is a dual sign and afflicted, more than one marriage is likely. If Mercury is conjunct, they become excellent record keepers. Considerable wealth can be gained as a spokesperson for a lineage tradition. Assessing value of distant treasuries. Storage spaces may be vast, well lit and spacious. The problem is that it might be fairly sparse. One’s father controls the family wealth and one’s partner might have a habit of hoarding it. This brings much shock, change and sudden upset to marriage, contracts and agreements; these things are always changing. Secretive and self destructive behaviours can bring marriages and contracts to an end. Relationship energy goes into developing the spouse’s role in the studio (garage band), as an agent of revolution in the legal system, or for the values of escape. One usually feels ignored and unworthy of their spouse’s affection whose role is almost always more important. They usually put on a bright, attractive, confident face, but there will always remain a kind of gloominess of low confidence; but they do try.

Tellers of fantastic tales, their personal history is a little cloudy. good poets, and musician. They often seem a little spacey. Wealth comes from father and partner who may be the pillar of the family.

Quentin Tarantino: His father left the family before Quentin was born, he was an aspiring actor. Tarantino worked as an usher in an adult movie theatre as a youth.

Sun in Revati 2nd House

Musical family, or at least flowery story tellers. Icons of style. There’s a good opportunity for health and perhaps some kind of family trust. Father might be a Taylor and these folks often wear originals, almost never ready made. They usually have a, clean, fresh, spiritual image. Venus influence can bring very fine fabric. Imported foods

Teresa d’Avila Father was a cloth merchant as Sun conjuncts Mercury & Venus. She was probably quite capable of taking care of the books for the hermitage.

Iana T.: Clothing designer, fair trade natural fabrics personally sourced.

Hugh Hefner: Playboy magazine. Icon of style, very original lobe wear, loose and comfortable, basically fancy pyjamas, a silk robe, a pipe, slippers, glasses, malas, rings and jewellery. He always stood out and he often dressed to compliment the playboy bunnies that surrounded him. And his Halloween costume is certainly accompanied by a pretty little bunny. (Sounds a lot like Easter.). Of course he also made great wealth by selling the dream.

Anton Lavey: Founder of the Church of Satan: He was another lover of robes.

Sun in Pisces 3rd house

Rules the 8th house for Capricorn ascendant.

Phala Deepika Sun in 3rd house: “The native will be strong, brave, wealthy and generous, but unfriendly towards relatives.”
Jataka Bharnam Sun in the 3rd house: “Gives sweet speech and makes a person very rich. One has conveyances and the joy of doing virtuous deeds. They have servants, a few brothers and are strong and healthy. It makes a person valiant and vigorous, quick in taking decisions which are often correct. They are rich in religious mentality, sattvic, they do hard penance and will be an ascetic without malice, a benefactor to others. They are exceptionally enthusiastic in doing things and they achieve fame due to their virtues. They follow their plan with steadfast mind and firm determination; they do not change plans very often. This is not auspicious for younger brothers and may be the cause of death to elder brothers.”
B.V. Raman Sun in the 3rd house: “Makes the person courageous. The mind becomes resourceful and restive; successful. Bad for brothers if afflicted. Discredit through letters. Sun in 3rd house is one of the strong points of the horoscope.”

Chamatkar Chintamani Sun in the 3rd house: “The native is strong and glorious but he suffers at the hands of his own brothers. He goes on holy pilgrimage after foreign travel. Always prevails over his enemies and gets recognition from the state. This Sun is Maraka for the elder brother, but can prove fatal even for oneself if the lord of 1st & 3rd are connected in any way to the 8th house or its lord. Otherwise this native is healthy, wealthy, and wise. He is famous, kind, modest, and a king.
If in Aries the native will be lazy, wicked, easy-going, talkative, mischievous, and maraka for the elder brother. In masculine signs the native will be quiet, thoughtful, intelligent, social, active in educational and public works, a leader, fighting municipal elections. President or Vice-President, director at big companies, establishing authority and talking with authority. Subordinates are happy to co-operate with him. If in Gemini, Libra, Sagittarius the native will be an author, publisher, professor or lawyer; fond of home and children; an active mind that can be relied upon in adversity. Elder brother’s separation can be a saviour for him. In a female chart, this Sun suggests the birth of twins, or two marriages.
The Sun in feminine signs gives brothers and sisters; the native has wealth, peace of mind, conveyance and it’s good for progeny. The native is brave and charitable. In masculine signs the native is the only child of the family. If somehow, there are brothers, they are of no help. He is rather eldest or youngest. He is certainly firm, determined, fond of science and art; seldom changing residence.”

BPHS 8th lord in the 3rd house: “The native will be devoid of fraternal happiness, will be indolent and without vigour or servants.”
B.V. Raman 8th lord in the 3rd house: “If conjunct the 3rd lord, 3rd house significations suffer. The natives ears may suffer or he may go deaf. Misunderstandings and disputes with siblings; beset by fear and mental anguish. He may imagine things and suffer from hallucinations. He may get involved with debts and get into trouble thereby. If malefic afflict the conjunction of 3rd & 8th lord the natives suffering will be unbearable, but if conjunct the 6th or the 12th lord benefic results may come: he might get a monetary windfall through writing or the agency of a co-born.”

Rules the 9th house for Sagittarius ascendant.

Phala Deepika Sun in 4th house: “The native will be without happiness, relatives, lands, friends or a house to live in. He will serve the ruler and waste away the ancestral property.”
Jataka Bharnam Sun in 4th house: “Causes one to be devoid of happiness, conveyance, wealth. Paternal property is squandered and they will change residence many times. This position can also bring fame and praise in society, higher status and a position of rank in comparison with other people of the community.”
B.V. Raman Sun in the 4th house: “Makes one generally unhappy and mentally worried. He will be roaming about. Promises some inheritance. He will have interest in occult or philosophical studies. In the political field success is difficult. There will be obstacles in life if Saturn or Mars influence this Sun.”

Chamatkar Chintamani Sun in the 4th house: “Denotes a very honourable occupation, strife with family and friends. The native mostly lives in foreign lands, insulted by the enemy and mentally at war. The native remains tense. The only good thing about this Sun is that they get a very prestigious house, the rest is inauspicious. He is generous, devout and sacrificing do that he may get peace of mind. His restlessness takes him to foreign land. That is why he has no family happiness. Resorts to prostitution, which indicates how foolish and weak he is both physically and mentally; discontented, cruel, unimpressive personality. The native suffers from heart trouble, lives in poverty, goes hungry, is foolish and cruel. The native is deprived of happiness from kith & kin, conveyance. Suffers from discontent, opposes his father, squanders wealth. He is characterless and dependent on the state for favours. He may see a good end to his career, a favourable environment, and usually strong character.
If the Sun is in Gemini, Virgo, Libra Sagittarius, Capricorn, Pisces the native will be popular, kind and generous, fond of music, brave, gets family comfort and wealth and respect from the state. If the Sun is in Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius malefic results will be observed. If the Sun is in Aries or Cancer the native is suspicious, gloomy and debauchee.
A quick and peaceful death if this Sun is conjunct or associated with Mars, Saturn or Rahu. Generally this Sun will make the first half of life full of troubles with family health, uncongenial parents, death, separation, poor health affecting the career, bad luck bringing all plans and ambitions to naught. Life gets better after age 22: there may be gain, improvement or success in any of the areas mentioned above. If the lord of 4th is strong by placement of aspect, the native gains through property, conveyance, wealth and family circumstances. If 4th lord is poorly placed he will have a life full of hardships.”

Men are a strong central father figure in the household; women might have to suffer under such a person. Often the father is the main caregiver as one grows up and this pattern may be repeated as one ages and begins caring for the children. Life may seem to revolve around the home, parenting duties, and teaching. There is often an imbalance of power in the home. A struggle between the local culture and the more global humanistic culture will be there with the local culture being painfully or cruelly purified of anything that doesn’t belong.

Sun in Pisces 5th house

Rules the 10th house for Scorpio ascendant.

Phala Deepika Sun in 5th house: “The native will be bereft of happiness, riches and children and will be short lived. He will be intelligent and tour the forest regions.”
Jataka Bharnam Sun in 5th house: “The native will be a devotee of Shiva & Parvati. They have a few issues and get happiness, but are devoid of wealth, doers of inauspicious deeds and have an erroring mind; mistaken intelligence. There can be great fear of abortion or miscarriage. Any slight malefic influence on this Sun can give disease of the heart or liver. Their power of intelligence is typically strong, but they can be careless with the exhilaration of an holy man.”
B.V. Raman Sun in the 5th house: “Deprives the person of children, riches and happiness. His life will be short. He will suffer from heart disease, will roam about in forest regions; a mountaineer. Denotes difficult child birth.”

Chamatkar Chintamani Sun in the 5th house: “The native will suffer at the hands of his first son. He is sharp and intelligent, learned in Mantra Shastra. He enjoys cheating others and hoards wealth. He is careless and negligent. Chest pain will be the cause of death. The father of the native suffers at the hands of the first son when, after marriage, family differences arise between his wife and his mother. This can be true even if the first child is a daughter. Father will also suffer if first child dies early in his lifetime. The native indulges in ignoble acts, he is childless, poverty stricken and roams over mountains and forests. Mentally sharp, has a few sons. If lord of 5th is strong he is blessed with sons who will be devoted to the Sun. If associated with Rahu or Ketu the native dies of snake bite. If Mars or enemy planet is associated there will be an abortion. If a friendly aspect is there the abortion will be prevented. If Sun is in other than a water sign there will be no children, but in a water sign children will be weak and sick. Moon, Jupiter or Venus must aspect this Sun to give children. If this is not the case there will be no children but the native will be rich, living a luxurious life with many women, but he will over-spend. This sun is good for anything of an enterprising nature, speculative interests are strong, and the capacity for enjoyment is great. If this Sun is in a masculine sign there will be no children.
Sun in Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces will cause mental and physical suffering. If in Taurus, Virgo or Capricorn the native will be evil-mined, short-tempered, ill-looks, low character, and hanging with wrong society. Sun in Gemini, Libra or Aquarius give disrespect, no-children, foolish, ill-tempered, atheist, makes trouble in religious activities. Sun in Aries, Leo or Sagittarius gives honour, success, pleasure, a loving nature, intelligence and good education. Sun in Aries gives small family and often denies children or inclines to difficult childbirth or abortion. If in a barren sign the likelihood of children is even further reduced. Any children who do survive pose a risk to the lives of both parents. Sun in Sagittarius makes the native influential, endowed with ruling powers, strong heart, bones and mind provided Jupiter is well placed. If the Sun is in Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn, Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces the native is selfish, miserly, indifferent to the joys and sorrows of others. Business flourishes, children survive, and wealth is accumulated. The Sun in Gemini, Libra, Aquarius makes the native a lecturer, writer, publisher, or public man. Sickness to wife. An afflicted, ill-aspected and badly placed Sun signifies an arrogant, fickle minded, haughty, irritable, overambitious, dominating native. Bring loss through speculation, sorrows through love, pleasure and pride. Also give adoration for Shiva.”

BPHS 10th lord in the 5th house: “The native will be endowed all kinds of learning, be cheerful, wealthy and blessed with sons. A very auspicious placement. The native earns great fame on the basis of his intellectual powers and is very successful in his field of action. Generally found in the charts of wise statesmen, scholars, professors, writers, educators, actors, etc.”
B.V. Raman 10th lord in the 5th house: “The native shines as a broker and engages in speculation and other business. If a benefic conjoins the 10th lord, the native will peacefully engaged in prayers and pious activity. Sun in Pisces 6th house

Rules the 11th house for Libra ascendant.

Phala Deepika Sun in 6th house: “A famous king of good qualities; wealthy and victorious against enemies. Fear of fever.”
Jataka Bharnam Sun in 6th house: “The native remains happy, destroys his enemies, is strong and will have expensive nice conveyance. They are valiant and valorous and will be a minister to the king. Brings evil to the uncles (mother’s brothers) and cattle. A strong Sun gives strong resistance to disease, but one will have to experience that for themselves. They will have a strong digestion. If the Sun is strongly afflicted here it can bring serious disease of the heart, cancer, bones, back ache, urinary diseases. These are typically the diseases we have to learn to live with rather than those that kill us as represented in the 8th house.”
B.V. Raman Sun in the 6th house “The person becomes a good politician, famous and successful. Not very good for health. If afflicted, there will be a long troublesome illness. If well-fortified, good administrative ability, few enemies, wealthy, and generally successful in all endeavours. Affliction by Saturn indicates heart trouble or chest pain unless the affliction is relieved by Jupiter.”

Chamatkar Chintamani Sun in the 6th house: “A destroyer of enemies, a friend of friends, who will reduce himself to penury to save him. Bad for maternal uncle and his family. Quadrupeds like cows and buffalos cause him great losses, sometimes financially also. Danger to life from sharp horned animals. During travel he is attacked by tribals or robbed by thieves. Sun in the 6th is most malefic.
The only redeeming result of Sun in the 6th is that it’s a powerful Shatru Nashaka (a deterrence). The native is strong, happy, rich, has conveyance, and is respected by society. He is a glutton, very passionate, gentle, known by his qualities. He is either a king, a general or a judge. He is strong, a conqueror of enemies. He is a yogi, a wise man, a well wisher of his clansmen and keeps them happy. Thin, lean: he builds property, handsome but lustful. Rich, happy, helped by his maternal uncles. Western astrology does not consider Sun in 6th to be very good; as a cadent (dual) house it slightly weakens the constitution. If afflicted by Saturn the recovery from any illness is slow. The native is mostly indisposed and quick to catch contagious disease: 1st victim of any epidemic. Afflicted Sun in fixed signs causes quinsy, bronchitis, asthma, diphtheria, gravel, heart trouble, nervous disorders. If afflicted in common (dual) signs he develops incurable disease. Afflicted in a cardinal (movable) sign, he develops functional derangements such as nervousness or rheumatism or gets some permanent injury.
If the Sun is well aspected by Mars, Jupiter or Venus he maintains a balanced constitution and avoids sickness. Gain through servants and services rendered; success promotion and helpful to others — reducing the suffering of humanity. Authorities give mixed readings on the Sun in the 6th as the 6th is both friends and enemies, health and sickness, attachment and hatred, maternal relatives, cousins, servants, inferiors. The results are full of opposites according to the influences of other planets. As far as the enemy is concerned, Varaha Mihira has found the native being defeated by the enemy; other authors consider the Sun a benefic poised in a bad house with his sharp, cruel, malefic aspects. Satyaacharya agrees that this Sun protects against enemies, illness, sorrow and debt.
In a masculine sign it gives state recognition, status and yoga. The native is also arrogant, short-tempered and a glutton. Infections acquired early in life cause problems late in life. Uncles suffer, maternal aunt becomes a widow or is issueless. The servants are dishonest and insincere. The native himself quarrels with his superiors. If in a feminine sign, he is soft spoken and pushing. He has pleasure, passion and purity of character. All the benefits are felt in the feminine signs. It’s good for the mother’s family members as well.”

BPHS 11th lord in the 6th house: “The native will generally remain sickly. He will be cruel, living in foreign places and troubled by enemies. For Gemini ascendant Mars may cause them to confront enemies but they will not be troubled by them.”
B.V. Raman 11th lord in the 6th house: “The native gains money through maternal relatives, litigating and running nursing homes. If afflicted, the native thrives on setting people against each other, involving themselves in other people quarrels and anti-social activity. If afflicted, the native may lose through similar sources.”

He is afraid of the king, suffers sickness and has many enemies. Jealous of the women folk and therefore he slights them. He is short-tempered and wicked. Always quarrels with the wife making the whole family unhappy. Scorned by the women folk always. The wife of such a native is not faithful and devoted to him; he himself is wicked and suffered from syphilis and diabetes and does not get children’s happiness. Sun in 7th delays marriage and there is no happiness in married life. He has two wives. Travels abroad in the 25th year, takes uneatable food and suffers; he is jolly and criticises women-folk; he is foolish and destructive. If the Sun is in own sign or is strong he is loyal to his wife; if poorly placed he is a polygamist. According to western thought Sun in 7th stands for an ambitious partner with a beneficial influence in life, promising personal and financial gain. If well aspected the partner will feel independent, be of sound moral integrity, harmony seeking and will have happiness in married life. Afflicted Sun will bring trouble through pride subject to the nature of aspects or other influences. 7th house stands for love, marriage, husband, wife, public enemies, lawsuits, partnership in trade, travel, happiness, children for the second wife, son-in-law, relatives, ways and means of merchandise. Sun in Aries, Leo, Capricorn in the 7th house is not favourable. If In Gemini, Libra, or Aquarius the native gets the highest education, is an expert in administration and law, promotes music, art and literature, has few or no children. Aries, Leo, or Sagittarius brings two marriages. May get a late marriage with difficulty. They love their independence too much. Feminine signs like Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn brings gain in business; they fight elections. Sun in Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces makes the native a doctor or an engineer. As a rule the wife of the native will be impressive, good at public dealings, a good hostess, kind to servants and helpful to her partner. She is good looking but high fisted. The Sun in Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, brings dishonour to husband. If this Sun in a water or earth sign gives success in life and in service only up to age 50. This Sun in masculine signs gives many ups and down; may loose their wife in their early 50s and denies a second marriage. Few children if in masculine signs; many if in feminine signs.”

BPHS 12th lord in the 7th house: “The native will always spend on account of his wife, will not enjoy conjugal bliss and will be bereft of learning and strength.”
B.V. Raman 12th lord in the 7th house: “Wife may come from a poor family. Married life will be unhappy and may end in separation. Later on he will take to aestheticism. Weak in health and suffering phlegmatic troubles, he will be without learning or property.”

Sun in Pisces 8th house

Rules the 1st house for Leo ascendant.

Phala Deepika Sun in 8th house: “Loss of wealth and friends, and one will be short lived. Eyesight will be defective or lost. Death from fire, high fever, bile or weapon.”
Jataka Bharnam Sun in 8th house: “Gives small eyes, eye disease is possible. The native has many enemies, is wrathful, dull witted, has scarce wealth and a weak body. Dim eye-sight, loss of paternal wealth, mental anguish and suffering, deprivation of good conduct and decay of vitality. They lack enthusiasm and liveliness and they may suffer broken bones. Gives distress and adversity in old age.”
B.V. Raman Sun in the 8th house: “If in exaltation he lives long, he’s charming and an eloquent speaker. If this Sun is afflicted he will be troubled by sores on the face and head and be disgruntled with life. His eyes will be weak. He will suffer penury and an uneventful life. If associated with the 8th or the 11th he may gain monetary benefits suddenly or through speculation. He will have limited progeny; mostly males.”

Chamatkar Chintamani Sun in the 8th house: “A craft lewd impostor. Life is hard and difficult. Travels widely and associates with low women; eats unscrumptiously; squanders his wealth on women and looses it in theft. Secret vice brings infectious diseases and poor health. He cannot not make anyones life happy including his own. Sudden death.
The native is handsome but indolent, prodigal, spendthrift, suffers from piles, adulterous, travels wide and is quarrelsome. Absence of offspring weak sight, wealthy but violent; sick and hard-working. He is neither rich nor happy. Early death, and more so, at the loss of some dear one. Generally such natives are less wise, short-tempered and of poor mental and physical health. This disqualifies them from a successful and happy life. The native is fickle-minded but generous; ready to serve the wise and learned; sick and talkative but unlucky. He is characterless, prudent, long-lived, serves the low caste and mostly traveling abroad. The native has little happiness from his son, suffers from eye trouble, gets a wound or boil on his head in the 10th year unless there is benefic influence. The Greeks believed this native would wander aimlessly without food or business; legacy from a superior, favourable for occultism. Gain from partners and co-workers. Death is usually attended with honour.
A strong bond in the 8th bestows gains from agriculture. If exalted or in own sign he will have a long life. If poorly aspected in a female chart she will be involved with trouble and anxiety due to a will, impairing her health seriously. If this Sun has good aspect it brings a steady fortune after marriage, partnerships or inheritance. Increases vitality, prolonged life coupled with self-sacrifice or heroic deeds brings fame at the fag end of life. If this Sun is alone in the 8th without any aspect, the 45th years is said to be critical and the native may suffer from heart trouble and have constitutional weakness, honourable events and gain through death. The partner is apt to be over generous and extravagant.
Afflicted Sun gives sudden violent death due to heat, fever, bile, or weapon. The natives life partner is likely to die first. This Sun is mostly malefic. The 8th house denotes wills, legacies, dowers, chronic disease, loss of wealth, extravagances, suits and quarrels, death, co-workers and occult matters. Planets occupying the 8th incline an interest towards occult matters. If there is no planet here then life ruins along conventional lines until the ruler receives a strong aspect.
If the Sun is in Aries, Leo, or Sagittarius there will be bad results. It’s not so critical if in Gemini, Libra, or Aquarius. Feminine signs are favourable. Death under Gemini, Cancer, Sagittarius, or Pisces is honourable. If in Aries or Leo, death is sudden and violent. In others signs (Taurus, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Capricorn, Aquarius) death will only come after long illness and great suffering. If in masculine sign the secrets will get out via ones servant or partner; wife becomes unfaithful and there is poverty with old age. Feminine signs give progeny; masculine signs denies it. Early life knows no smooth growth.”

BPHS 1st lord in the 8th house: “The native will have knowledge of occult powers but will be sickly, thievish, extremely wrathful, a gambler and given to travers others wives. Knowledge of the occult is certain with this placement. If the ascendant is Cancer the native may die in infancy. Aries, Libra & Sagittarius ascendants will not allow harm to come to the native, but if there is malefic influence the harm may be doubled and they might be subject to unnatural death.”
B.V. Raman 1st lord in the 8th house: “Learned, gambling tendencies, interested in occultism and mean character. If the lord is strong, they may take pride in helping others and have many friends. He will be religiously inclined and have a peaceful and sudden end.”

Sun in Pisces 9th house

Rules the 2nd house for Caner ascendant.

Phala Deepika Sun in 9th house: “One will lose their father, but will have children and relatives and revere the gods and brahmins.”
Jataka Bharnam Sun in 9th house: “Keeps the person engaged in doing the rites of his religion and endowed with noble and excellent intellect. Happiness from son and friends, but enmity towards mother’s family. A strong Sun gives a religious attitude, patriotism, ascetic with reverence for elders and teachers. Their sons make good progress, their partner is virtuous, and their father’s heath is sound, and he himself is long-lived. Reputed for good and virtuous deeds, and gets distinctions from the king, and collects great wealth.”
B.V. Raman Sun in the 9th house: “The native may change his faith if the Sun is afflicted or poorly placed. He will show hostile feelings towards his father and lack respect for elders and preceptors. If Sun is not afflicted he will be a dutiful son with regard for spiritual pursuits. If conjunct Moon: eye troubles. With Venus: sickness and ailments. Health will be ordinary and the native gets little patrimony. He will be ambitious and enterprising.”

Chamatkar Chintamani Sun in the 9th house: “The native is a wicked man. His good deeds are not the outcome of noble thoughts; they are performed out of vanity, to beguile others. None-the-less, all this works in the natives favour. He gains popularity. He is considered virtuous and religious and is so praised. Mentally he is at war and worries because his deeds are not backed by sincerity. He is not fair or just, even to his own brothers, so he suffers even at their hand. He lives a life of constant worry and anxiety. Essentially they are vain, showy and opportunistic. They change like a weather-clock. He is unlucky, uneducated, irrational, characterless and a debauchee. The native gets wealth, friends and sons; respects saints and learned people. Denied love and affection of father and partner; strained relations with maternal uncle. The native is headstrong and won’t take advice from father or preceptor. He is pitta guru dweshi; he readily changes his faith.
“The native loves truth, has beautiful long hair, well-wisher of his clansmen, sickness in childhood, well settled by middle age; handsome, blessed with longevity and wealth. Sticks to family faith and rituals. He is sharp and thoughtful and takes the virtuous path in life. Happiness through family and friends. The native worships the Sun and other gods. He is religious by not lucky. Strained relations with his own father. Happiness from wife and children.
“If exalted or in own sign and influenced by benefics; there is longevity for the father. Rich, lives to meditate and devoutly austere. Trust in, and respect for preceptors and learned people. The father of the native dies if in depression, or influenced by malefics.
“The greeks found this native famous, God fearing and helped by maternal uncle. Western scholars say he will be steady, dignified, honoured, fair and just. God-fearing, well behaved, broad minded, deep religious feelings, success through legal or foreign affairs, and the possibility of long voyages. The ninth house stands for father, progeny, partners siblings, virtue, deeds and desires, wealth and happiness through it, reputation, faith, charity, favours, medicine, and foreign travel. Sun in the 9th makes early life difficult, middle life easy and later life unhappy. The Sun in Aries, Leo, or Sagittarius makes the native a soldier of engineer. In Taurus, Virgo or Capricorn a business man or agriculturist. In Gemini, Libra, or Aquarius a writer, publisher or teacher. In Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces a dramatist or chemist.”

BPHS 2nd lord in the 9th house: “The native will be wealthy, diligent, skilful. He remains sickly in childhood but happy in remaining years. He visits shrines and observes religious rites.”
B.V. Raman 2nd lord in the 9th house: “Skilful, ill-health in young age but health after. Will possess lots of wealth and be happy. When well-fortified and the 9th lord is in lagna the native will have a good inheritance. Rules the 3rd house for Gemini ascendant. Digbala

Phala Deepika Sun in 10th house: “Blesses the native with sons, vehicles, tributes, wisdom, wealth, strength and fame. They will rise to kingship.”
Jataka Bharnam Sun in 10th house: “Endows the native with right intellect and wisdom, wealth, conveyance, royal favour, and the happiness of a son. They give reverence to saints and are endowed with gems and jewels. If there is no malefic influence they get fame, benefits and profits from government. Favourable for father. They like to celebrate festivals and marriages with great pomp and show.”
B.V. Raman Sun in the 10th house: “The native get success in all his undertakings, will have sons, vehicles, fame, intelligence, money and power. He will be strong and happy and employed in government service. He will get ancestral wealth, be fond of music and have personal magnetism.”

Chamatkar Chintamani Sun in the 10th house: “The native runs his business very successfully, profitably but his mother’s ailments cause him constant worry. Remote due to separation from partner of friend. The native attains success, royal favour and reputation through hard-work. Parents suffer, wife and children cause anxiety, friendless, dissipated and bold. It may be observed that except for professional or vocational success, there is no other releasing feature in the life of this native. He is blessed with wealth and jewels, education, honour, success, valour, love for music and art, talent, kindness and generosity, service to saints, high moral standard, power, authority, trust, conveyance, frugality, firmness, kinsfolk and children. The native gains fame through learning, is able to accumulate wealth if aspected by three benefic planets. If exalted or in own sign he respects saints, constructs tanks and ponds, wells and temples. If associated with malefics or in enemy sign the native will pass through many obstacles, will perform ignoble deeds and be dissipated. According to western authorities this native finds responsible enjoyments, develops ambitious tendencies and rises in life through honour and integrity.
The 10th house mainly stands for the natives vocation and profession, wisdom, generosity, faith, fame and fortitude, appointments parents death, establishment and public works. The Sun in depression sign does not give good parental influences. Affliction by an unfavourable Mars brings discord between employer and employee. Influence by a beneficial Mars will give rapid advancement and confers an honourable post as judge or minister. Favourable aspects from Saturn will make the native a high government executive with power and authority. If in Aries, Cancer, Leo, Scorpio or Sagittarius, the native will have favourable status in Revenue, police, army, excise department. The native will hold a very high post if in Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn, Pisces or Gemini. He becomes the secretary to the Lt. Governor, President of Parliamentary Affairs. Sun in Scorpio makes the native a famous doctor.
The native gains progress, promotion and success in early life. The end is not so comfortable or honourable. He fades away due to sickness, penury, discord with kin-folks, jealousy, and hatred from wife and children.”

BPHS 3rd lord in the 10th house: “The native will have all kinds of happiness and self-made wealth but will nurture wicked females.”
B.V. Raman 3rd lord in the 10th house: “A quarrelsome and faithless wife. The native becomes rich. He will be happy and intelligent. Gain from journeys connected with his profession. All the brothers will shine and they will be helpful to him in all ways.”

Self owned business media, messaging, announcing, explaining, secret, tantric, potentially catastrophic messages. Likely belongs to some kind of secret society, criminal organisation delivering many secret or “top secret” messages.. A strong sense of certainty in their leadership style makes them difficult for others to work with and their activities are typically supportive of large organisations and punishing of more independent minded people. They can be very controversial people in society who may have difficulty building public trust unless they have the backing of government hierarchy, corporate structure or a large organisation supporting them. They tend to become autocratic and bureaucratic leaders. May be a shining star of one’s guru, perhaps working to support the guru’s educational institutions. Their life tends to revolve around positions of leadership, due to which they have fewer friends. They maintain a high level of certainty in their activities that does not permit human faults in themselves  or in other leaders. But since even the greatest leader has faults they find it difficult to follow anyone and they come to seem as hypocrites themselves since they cannot live up to even their own expectations.

They often work alone in their studio. Good for commercial business, sole proprietor. They might be the caring leaders, sharing messages with people from afar. There might be a bit of confusion about what it is they do, or what it is they want from a person. Somewhat strange messages for some who receive it.

Louis XVII of France was born just before the French Revolution and was killed in prison at age 10. It’s very likely he received cruel and vile torture for years before his death. The last five years of his life his family was mostly in hiding and the mood would have only grown in intensity until his death. He was most certainly withdrawn and ghostly. However there was a brief time when he was also the heir to the throne and the proper king of France.

Sun in Revati 10th House

Vincent Van Gogh: Sun Mahadasha 1881 – 1887 (age 29 – 35): 1881 he tried a 3rd marriage proposal and was turned down. When he went to her parents home to see her, she refused to see him and he attempted to burn his hand with a candle to prove his devotion, but he was escorted from the house.
From Nov. 27, 1881 – Sept. 11, 1883 he lived in the Hague, Netherlands and was full of enthusiasm to study painting under Anton Mauve who was married to his cousin and begin his career as an artist. After just three weeks he returned to his parents, but got in a fierce fight with his father and returned to the Hague and Anton Mauve once again. He found a studio for himself and started meeting other artists. One of his uncles offered him his first paid commission work to draw the city views. He worked very hard on his art in this period, he was convinced he would succeed, but he was earning very little. His younger brother mostly supported him in his time there. In early 1882 he met a pregnant prostitute whom he promised to marry, despite having another mans children, but the relationship was straining the rest of his relationships and his family was against it, he left town abandoning her. He moved to rural town of Drenthe, Netherlands where he lived from Sept. 11, 1883 – Dec. 4, 1883. He then went back to his parent’s place in Nuenen where his father had taken a job as the minister. His parents made him a room in the rectory but didn’t feel welcome. Just ten days into his stay he felt like the dirty unwelcome dog who is allowed to stay, despite his father having made him a studio in the washhouse out back. By May 1884 he found a new studio to work from; he continued working from here after his father’s death by heart attack on 26 March 1885. Between December 1883 and November 1885 he produced almost a quarter of his lifetime works: several groups of still life’s, numerous drawings and watercolours and nearly 200 oil paintings. His palette consisted mainly of sombre earth tones, particularly dark brown, and showed no sign of the vivid colours that distinguished his later work. His first master piece, “The Potato Eaters” was painted in this period. He hoped to prove himself to the outside world with a painting of a large group of people. From August 1884, Margot Begemann, a neighbour’s daughter ten years his senior, joined him on his forays; she fell in love and he reciprocated, though less enthusiastically. She helped him care for his mother when she injured herself. They wanted to marry, but neither side of their families were in favour. Margot was distraught and took an overdose of strychnine, but survived after Van Gogh rushed her to a nearby hospital. On 24 November 1885 Vincent left Nuenen for Antwerp to study at the Royal Academy of Art; but he found to too boring and conservative and went to Paris soon after. He was also having some trouble with his health in this time. In 1886 he went to Paris and started using more colour and lively whimsical brush strokes. He worked for an art dealer while in Paris and met many avant guard painters of the time. He experimented with impressionism, pointillism, cloisonnism. Sept. 26, 1886 he had an art show, but his great works did not come until after he left Paris; but it was around this time that he painted “A Pair of Shoes.” He left Paris on Feb. 21, 1888 to create an artist commune in the south of France with Gauguin and others, but Gauguin did not arrive until Oct. 20. After a couple month of drink and prostitutes the two great artists had their infamous Christmas Day fight and Gauguin left while van Gogh cut his ear.

Maurice Bouvier: Police director. entered public service in 1943. By November 1, 1952, he had risen to the rank of police commissioner. In 1957, he became the deputy chief of the criminal brigade. In 1970, Bouvier was appointed Director of the Judicial Police at the Quai des Orfèvres in Paris, a position he held until 1975. Recognized for his role in the operation that led to the death of the notorious criminal Jacques Mesrine in 1979.

Sun in Pisces 11th house

Rules the 4th house for Taurus ascendant.

Phala Deepika Sun in 11th house: “Grants the native longevity and wealth. He will be the ruler and know no sorrows.”
Jataka Bharnam Sun in 11th house: “The native has a love for music and singing. He has a great interest in completing virtuous deeds. He will be rich and receive glory, honour and profit from the king. This person makes big plans and achieves success. They can be ambitious, make huge profits, get favours from powerful friends, and attain a place of distinction in society.”
B.V. Raman Sun in the 11th house: “The person lives for a long time and becomes wealthy. He will have wife, children and servants. He gets royal and governmental favour and achieves success without much effort. He will be sagacious and principled.”

Chamatkar Chintamani Sun in the 11th house: “The native will have wealth, recognition and good will from the hands of the king and from those with more authority than the native. He is benefited and rises through them to become a man of some note. Gains material wealth and general prosperity. Reputation is increased by holding public appointments of positions of responsibility. Loyal minded & honest in purpose. For all this he invites jealousies from his rivals. His only grief is his offspring, which is due to several reasons: they are short-lived, foolish, illiterate, quarrelsome and corrupt. The native himself is virtuous, righteous, god fearing, learned, handsome with beautiful eyes, fond of art and music; a leader. He is blessed with a noble wife and children and is attended by faithful obedient servants; but has to bear the separation of some dear one. He can discriminate between right and wrong and is thin and lean and will possess conveyance in an early age.
If the Sun is associated with a malefic his wealth and conveyance are lost. If it’s in own sign or exalted the native is strong, a revenue collector, very fortunate. He has trusted friends and helpful too if sun is strong. If the Sun is in depression the friends become a burden and dangerous.
The 11th house stands for elder siblings, gains, vehicles, obstacles, second wife, sensual intercourse, friends and hopes. Sun here is not good for the elder brother, especially if in a masculine sign. If this Sun is exalted in Aries there will be no offspring or they will die early. In Gemini it will give a few sons who will die early. In Leo it gives daughters. In Libra it gives wealth, recognition and reputation. In Sagittarius it makes a Judge or Lawyer. In Aquarius it gives property. In a feminine sign it gives sudden wealth and children. In a masculine sign both wealth and children are a hard struggle and brings dispute among brothers if they survive.”

Jataka Bharnam Sun in 12th house: “Causes the eyesight of the native to be weak, his ideas clash with the father and the mind bends towards improper conduct and thinking is opposed to every accepted assumption and common sense. This is an inauspicious place for Sun: eye trouble, bodily pain, trouble to the uncle, losses and troubles in travel. They may be educated in a foreign country, have trouble with the government, and think about things opposed to morality and religion. These natives are selfless, have the spirit of renunciation, are of wrathful disposition and remain as if intoxicated. If this Sun has malefic influences they may suffer kidney stones, failure in politics and have to visit a prison. Sun conjunct Moon in the 12th house can give alcohol addiction. Additional malefic influence will certainly give problems to the eyes and heart.”
B.V. Raman Sun in the 12th house: “The native may take to an immoral life and engage himself in vile occupations. He will not be quite successful in life and may feel neglected by all. He may suffer loss at some time and have poor eyesight. He will, however, be energetic and have sons.”

Chamatkar Chintamani Sun in the 12th house: “The native develops eye trouble, is a victor in war, self-controlled, success in everything he lays his hands upon. Free from physical pain, success in an obscure and unpopular occupation, trouble from uncle who may meet danger in journey. The eyes of the native are hard hit, he will suffer unexpected loss of wealth, will have a strange sickness, mercurial temperament. He is antisocial and irreligious; afraid of king and thieves. Flatulence at age 36. Malefic influence will cause wasteful expenditure leading to poverty. Will live in places far from the birth place. A strong 12th lord will give him psychic powers and pleasures from wife. If 6th lord conjoins he will suffer leprosy. If well aspected, he escapes from it. Depraved, he suffers from many physical ailments. Early life is unfortunate and obscure, but later life is full of success by his own efforts. If this Sun is afflicted: imprisonment, eccentric with uncommon tastes and inclinations.
The 12th house denotes expenditure, journeys, stay in foreign lands on duty sound sleep, real happiness including conjugal gifts, shipping, government appointments, secret enemies, imprisonment, assault by thieves. If afflicted by Saturn or Mars life will be full of sorrow and suffering, but if well aspected by Jupiter or Saturn the native is capable of much self-sacrifice and endurance. If in Aries, Leo or Sagittarius it makes him miserly and unscrupulous, proud, unfortunate. Trouble through persons in authority, opposite sex, death of loved ones and from enemies. If in Taurus, Virgo or Capricorn the native gives value to ends, has endurance, reputation and is independent, money minded and rational. He will have occult and psychic tendencies and will gain through secret enemies but misfortune in marriage and love affairs. If in Gemini, Libra or Aquarius the native is extravagant but reputed in his own society. Misfortune through relatives and in travel; separation and ill-health. In Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces makes the native carefree, political confinement, philanthropic, warrior. He will have love for occult readings, long journey and spiritualism and will face a tragic end.”

BPHS 5th lord in the 12th house: “The native is bereft of happiness for own son and will have to adopt or purchases a son.”
B.V. Raman 5th lord in the 12th house: “Quest for knowing the ultimate reality will be pronounced. He will lead a life of non-attachment, becomes spiritual, moves from one place to the next and ultimately attains moksha.”

Seeks to retreat to the hot Sunny beach. They will have trouble falling to sleep. They may express addictive behaviours in their younger years, “bar stars” in those younger years but they usually grow out of this and find more isolated or private settings to celebrate their dreams and express their fantasies. They might meet with famous people behind the scenes or backstage; and they may be big stars themselves in their own imagination. They might use hallucinogenic drugs recreationally and eventually they come to live in a different world.
