Saturn in Sagittarius: Mula, Purva Ashadha, Uttara Ashadha
They take philosophy, ideology, dogma, beliefs, very seriously. They tend towards older more conservative beliefs. They will believe in humility, self-sacrifice, discipline and experience as a means of achieving higher wisdom. This Saturn restricts the expansive nature of Jupiter, regulates the expansion. It can take them a while to find their luck, they have to make it, work for it, earn it. It might take till later in their life before they realize their purpose and meaning of their life; before their really find their way. They will quitly suffer for their beliefs in some way.
They can be rigid and resistant to changing their beliefs, Saturn can keep them stuck in reality a little bit. They are natural doubters, but this doubt can carry them quite deep into the eoretical over time. Saturn moves slow, he take them seriously, he makes a commitment. They often feel a duty to their beliefs, their gurus, father figures, as father figures. They will often rebel against the conservative beliefs when they are young, but they will come to greatly respect tradition. At a later point in life they often take a foreign pilgrimage or some kind of long trip to kinda find their way, their path, purpose and dharma.
This Saturn gives strong support for wisdom fields: philosophy, religion, law, professor, guru, policy, big long intellectual projects that take a little more time. They will have to experience at least one major challenge to their faith. Father figures can be strict, authoritarian, absent. There is a lack of warmth with father figures, they are more about law and order, impersonal. There can be doubt and disappointment in father figures early in life.
This Saturn can bring his stiffness, coldness, hardness to the Sagittarius body arts: tight hips, sciatica, broken hip later in life. Tight hips & tights, probably hamstrings too since this Saturn aspects Aquarius. Poor blood flow to the lower limbs generally. The limitation on fire tattva can harm the liver and reduce catabolic activity. Lethargy and low blood pressure can also be there. Aspects to Virgo can degrease digestive fire.
Chamatkar Chintamani Saturn In Sagittarius: “Fond of learning, knowledge, study and research. Interest in domestic life, generous, helpful, bold, capacity to predict through intuition and insight. Religious, blessed with talented children, affluence with age, reputed, quiet, courteous, gain through securities and investments. Conjunct Sun, the native adopts a son and gains mane, fame and wealth through him. Impotent. With Moon, takes away the mother, much organising and constructive ability, blessed with a comely wife and promising sons. With Mars causes biliousness, notorious, condemned, criticised, impulsive. With Mercury it brings great reputation, honour, professor, noble, wealthy, and sociable. With Jupiter it grants very high status with fortune, happiness and affluence. With Venus, it indicates a step-father or mother, living by forestry, capable but sensuous.”
Astrology King Saturn conjunct Nunki: “Thoughtful, reserved, self-centred, success delayed until after 50, ambition thwarted by enemies, danger of disgrace, wealth at end of life, trouble to parents, favourable marriage late in life, usually at least one child.”
Saturn in Mula
Saturn in Mula is like digging up the karmic roots of past lives with a rusted spade — slow, grinding, necessary, and often painful. Mula is the nakshatra of destruction before reconstruction, and Saturn is the planet of long-term karmic debts. Together, they push the native to excavate ancient conditioning, especially around belief, dogma, lineage, and one’s philosophical compass. These natives are burdened with ancestral karma.
This is one of Saturn’s heaviest placements spiritually. There’s a serious, almost fatalistic intensity to their convictions. These are not people who casually dabble in belief. Many reject mainstream religion but replace it with esoteric or occult ideologies that feel more “authentic” or ancient. They can treat ideology like law, becoming rigid in their alternative beliefs: Tantra, astrology, Ayurveda, witchcraft, animism, chaos magic. If unafflicted, this placement can produce sincere truth-seekers, scholars of sacred traditions, or guardians of traditional sciences. If afflicted, it can manifest as fanaticism, conspiracy theories, or rejecting all outside opinions.
They often reject the religion or culture they were born into. This rejection may be violent or sudden (internally or externally), usually triggered by some perceived lie, hypocrisy, or betrayal of truth. They may experience crises of faith or moral collapse, especially in their early years. The father, guru, or dominant moral authority figure may be seen as a fraud, or they may be outcast out from orthodoxy.
Saturn wants structure; Mula wants to pull things apart. This creates deep mental tension. The native may cling rigidly to unstable or unproven theories just to feel grounded. Belief often precedes verification, especially in youth. But Saturn ensures all beliefs, gurus, and ideas must be tested in the crucible of life. The true dharma here is to build new wisdom systems from the ashes of the old. There is often a backstory of violence, misused passion, or enacted desire in the past lives that must be burned clean.
These natives often carry ancestral trauma: cults, destroyed lineages, broken teachers, or persecuted beliefs. They may feel like outsiders until they create their own philosophical space. Guilt, shame, or existential depression can arise if they feel cut off from their roots.
They can become hard on themselves or others for not living up to truth, to a moral standard. They may exhibit intolerance toward dissenting views and an obsession with being “correct” or “in the know.” A subtle elitism can form: only “those who understand” are allowed in. Suspicion toward mainstream systems may lead to either brilliant critique or paranoid isolation.
Saturn matures slowly, in Mula this means learning to rebuild after collapse, not just burn things down. Making peace with uncertainty is key. Mula is ruled by Nirṛti, the goddess of dissolution: not everything can be known. These natives must develop a personal dharma rooted in lived experience, not rebellion alone. Finding the right guru takes time, often mid-life or later. Sometimes, they become the guru themselves.
A Saturn in Mula native is meant to dismantle false belief systems, experience the chaos of rootlessness, and patiently construct a new dharma that aligns with deeper truth. It is the placement of the spiritual excavator, the karmic grave digger, and the truth seeker who must learn to live without dogma, even while constructing a disciplined life.
Mars conjunct Saturn in Mula intensifies destruction. Creates big fluctuations in dharma and karma. Can be scientific, but often expresses as scorched-earth, anti-establishment rage: more Kali than Surya. May embody punk, Aghori, or rebellious mysticism.
Venus: Drawn toward art, aesthetics, design, antiques, and beauty. Can ground the wild intensity in physical creation.
Mercury: Enhances analytic ability, particularly in theoretical or metaphysical disciplines. Capable of complex synthesis.
Jupiter in his own sign brings capacity to found or anchor an institution, school, or religious path, but not without setbacks and delays.
Ketu conjunct Saturn will bring massive shifts in direction and dharma. Dramatic life changes. Intuition and dream insight may rise, but with phases of isolation and “dark night of the soul.” Chronic angst around safety and rootlessness. These natives rebuild repeatedly. Saturn-Ketu or Ketu-Saturn periods are volatile: expect karmic whiplash, geographic relocations, career collapse and rebirth, decisive breaks from family tradition.
They are driven to uncover origins, root causes, root diseases, root beliefs. Fields involving classification, spiritual psychology, or trauma therapy are especially aligned. Excellent for Mathematics, data analysis, saking signs and symbols seriously. Archaeology, genetics, quantum physics, black hole theory, astrology, occult studies, shamanism, tantric science, mystical study.
They are often burdened by an invisible weight, soemting is rotten to the core. They feel older than their years: old souls to some degree. Renunciations, self-denying, sometimes masochistic: they suppress comfort and embrace difficulty. They can appear cold, fatalistic, or stoic. Karmic guilt or shame often lingers and gthere is a persistent need to “work something off.”
Vulnerable to lower back pain, hip issues, sciatica, or thyroid problems (Taurus sphere), often tied to suppressed grief. Chronic illness or mystery ailments may only respond to holistic or karmic healing methods. May live in extreme or isolated environments: cold, remote, harsh, a life in exile, estranged from family. In some way they will experience a collapse of long-standing structures (job, reputation, marriage with slow, painful rebuilding.
Despite the troube, Saturn in Mula is a powerful placement for spiritual maturity later in life. This is a soul who has chosen to confront the hardest karmas, willingly or not. Their journey involves facing existential fear directly, purifying pride, entitlement, and inherited delusions, learning detachment through endurance, not escapism; letting go of the need for certainty or belonging.
They learn to live by a truth that can withstand destruction. Perhaps only those core beliefs that can survive destruction are worth keeping.
Ptolemy Saturn in Mula: “Danger from wild animals, either to be ripped up by them, massacred, or torn into pieces; accidents, catastrophes, or operations: appendicitis, appendectomy, or removal of haemorrhoids by operation.” This is the same as being born with ascendant here. Saturn brings extreme pain to the groin causing them to have to walk with a cane. Camomile tea is suggested for treatment. Uranus and Pluto are said to give similar results.
Saturn in Mula Pada 1, Aries Navamsha:
Saturn debilitated in Navamsha loses its natural patience, endurance, and long-game approach. In Aries Navamsha, the Martian fire fuels a Saturnian heaviness with impulsiveness, confrontational attitudes, and impatient belief correction. The native feels a burning need to act, to expose, to correct wrongs, often without waiting for social permission or protocol.
Intense ideological clashes, public upheaval, or deep spiritual reckonings Queen Bloody Mary has paid a heavy price for her extermination campaign. They can get quite aggressive in pushing their ideology. They get right to the point which might feel like a knife under the ribs. Nancy Spungen was killed by stabbing. Oonagh Shanley-Toffolo was Princess Diana’s acupuncturist healer.
This is the “trial by fire” placement. Mula wants to uproot, Aries wants to attack, and Saturn wants to control or restrict: deep ideological battles, sometimes out in the world, sometimes within the psyche. An urge to confront power — kings, nations, religions, societal norms, the patriarchy. They often become the tyrant they seek to destroy. Like a piece of coal glowing red hot.
There can be e fall from grace or public backlash for daring to speak out or behave radically. They can become extremely rigid or ruthless in ideology; aggressive in asserting their beliefs or rejecting others’. Deep karmic punishments if they go too far (e.g., vengeance, witch hunts, public scandals, assassination). May reject all authorities, only to become authoritarian themselves in how they manage ideology, beliefs, accepted truths.
Internal intensity from deep ancestral or past-life trauma. They fear of chaos and they are driven to control the narrative. They can suppress anger or rage until it explodes through ideology, work, or relationships. Need to construct belief systems that give order.
They have to learn to channel their rage, uproot falsehoods, lies and hypocrisy in themselves as well as in there world. They also have to remember that what is destroyed will have to be rebuilt from the a ashes; make it a holy fire with only pure white ash left over. They also have to let go of the need to punish; to get retribution.” When matured, they become truth-keepers, spiritual warriors, healers, protectors of sacred lineages. They often carry the memory of fallen lineages — witch-burnings, caste collapse, lost temples, uprooted cultures. Healing comes when they learn not all destruction is theirs to carry.
Likely to have karmic entanglements with their father, guru, or spiritual institutions. They may rebel against the family religion or reform their lineage. In female charts: often tied to a karmic male figure (father, partner, teacher) who was dogmatic, broken, or secretive.

Healing through ancient methods (Mula), but Saturn in Aries: rigid methods, possibly dogmatic style of healing. (1)), Ursula Le Guin (science fiction. Sci-fi/fantasy writer who dismantled existing paradigms through mythic, ancient symbolism (Mula) yet delivered with directness and clarity (Saturn-Aries). (1)), Chelsea Manning (transgender activist, whistleblower. Sacrificed self to expose ideological lies (government hypocrisy, war crimes). (1)),
Saturn in Mula Pada 2, Taurus Navamsha:
Wealth can get wiped out as fast as it comes in. They seek to stabilise the transformative, destructive tendencies of mula by aching into the material realm and regulating wealth and storage, They will experience great fluctuations of wealth. They work hard to understand the source of wealth and material power and abundance. They seem to be good influencers.
A karmic obligation to dig to the root of something, break it apart, and restructure it with realism and resilience. The harsh truths of life are internalised early. Life often involves hardship, loss, or emotional severance that leads to deeper inquiry. A conflict or synthesis between ascetic discipline (Saturn–Mula) and earthly sensuality or material refinement (Taurus–Venus). A slow but relentless pursuit of something profound or lasting, often disrupting the status quo in the process.
Saturn is trying to wrestle the chaos of Mula into form — through wealth, the body, beauty, and values. This creates a deep inner conflict between the ascetic, destroyer archetype (Mula-Saturn) and the earthly, Venusian builder archetype (Taurus Navamsha). They often gain wealth or status through serious karmic effort, but can lose it just as quickly if not aligned with deeper purpose. Saturn in Mula 2 carries a “root responsibility” — to understand and rebuild the structure of value (monetary or moral). Life brings lessons of detachment from material identity, even while being drawn to it.
They may appear sensual and composed, but internally carry heavy philosophical burdens. Feel pulled between enjoying life and being its witness or renouncer. Might pursue luxury, sex, art, or beauty — but all while studying or restructuring it on a deep level (e.g., fashion disruptors, feminist artists, sacred sexuality teachers).
They must often uncover family karmas, ancestral debts, or hidden influences that sabotage wealth, love, or stability. Harsh lessons early in life about loss, betrayal, or the fragility of pleasure. They develop an unshakeable strength, grounded in realism, maturity, and often silence. Quiet types who are observing, analyzing, and preparing for decisive rebuilding. Often karmic duty to transform what others take for granted: e.g. capitalism, desire, land rights, values. Conunct Ketu can bring great moon swings regarding ones connection to religion and spirituality, surrendering to the responsibility, but also dissolving the roots, destroying traditions. This cane very shamanic.
Obsession with control of wealth or beauty, narrative control, controlling peoples beliefs. They can become possessive or miserly and refuse to let go of broken values or ideologies that aren’t serving them, resulting in inner rigidity or bitterness. May sabotage relationships due to deep fear of loss, even as they crave stability. Can feel emotionally blocked or physically stiff — especially if they suppress the Mula fire.
Excellent in roles that involve long-term planning, ancestral healing, deep research, architectural design, financial management, land work, tantra, or body-centered spiritual disciplines. There might be some Kaliism, Shaivism, shamanism in the work they do.
Vladamire Lenin (Completely dismantled a royal system and reshaped global economics, with harsh consequences (2)), Adam Smith (economist, philosopher. Father of capitalism. Defined wealth in realistic terms. Saturn in Mula 2 seeks to define and critique systems of value.(2)), Prince Maximilian of Saxony (2), Alfred Alder (physician, Psychoanalyst who diverged from Freud. Studied the root causes of inferiority and compensation (very Saturn-in-Taurus-like themes). (2)), Frank Gehry (architect, designer. Restructured spiritual and artistic traditions through his own surreal, ritualistic lens.(2)), Conor McGregor (MMA. From poverty to extreme wealth through sheer will, discipline, and spectacle. (2),) Anne Frank (Her diary is a pure Saturn-in-Mula-Taurus expression: grounded reflection amidst collapse; structured wisdom from within chaos. (2)),
Saturn in Mula Pada 3, Gemini Navamsha:
There’s a dry, sharp quality — they often chronicle decay, write about collapse, or catalog the absurdities of the world. Saturn-Mula-Gemini gives excellent memory and pattern recognition, often used in writing, mathematics, journalism, satire, or scientific thought. Gemini Navamsa breaks ego-fixation. These natives often stand apart from the systems they critique: skeptical, observant, and ironically detached. Torn between destruction and explanation. They want to pull things apart and make sense of them. Sometimes feel paralyzed by overthinking. They can be slow to speak but incisive when they do. May suffer in early life from verbal repression, stuttering, or fear of being misunderstood. Later, become powerful communicators, writers, or teachers of difficult topics. Saturn in Mula 3 breaks things down to the code, often literally. These natives see the matrix for good or ill. Many use writing to document either literal war or internal collapse — the fragility of society, meaning, or childhood. Gemini Navamsa lends acting skill, mimicry, or voice control — but also can bring public duality or fall from grace. Dominant MMA fighter, disciplined destruction. Dry, Ironic, and Brilliant: They may seem emotionally cool but process suffering cerebrally. Often carry early-life verbal or cognitive burdens — slow speech, fear of error, criticism from teachers. Hidden Spiritual Discipline: Behind the intellect lies a private search for truth. They may cloak their mysticism in scholarly or artistic form. Vocational Strength: Excellent for teaching, journalism, symbolic logic, occult philosophy, computer science, satire, ancient texts, historical analysis. Karmic Risks: Potential misuse of intellect, isolation, dry cynicism, cutting speech that alienates others. Saturn’s gravity makes them cautious — or stunted — in sharing truth until tested.

(3)), Kapil Baba (Dark, sexual tanra (3)),
Saturn in Mula Pada 4, Cancer Navamsha:
We might note that only men seem to have this placement of Saturn. Perhaps it’s particularly dangerous to female babies or children. Or perhaps it’s a fluke of the data set I’m using. We might note that only men seem to have this placement in the current data set. Perhaps it reflects a dangerous karmic inheritance for female children (Saturn in Nirṛti’s nakshatra is not known for its gentleness) or it may simply be a fluke of available birth records. These natives often emerge as social critics, willing to endure personal hardship in defense of truth, ideas, or principles. Mula’s destructive pull, combined with Cancer’s emotional memory, urges them to go where others cannot, intellectually, emotionally, or even physically. There’s often a sense of exile or estrangement, strangers in their own land.
They may separate from local norms not just through physical travel, but through philosophical divergence, obsessive craft (garage tinkering, private labs), or allegiance to marginal ideologies — fringe religion, separatist politics, or radical science. Both Sagittarius and Cancer are education-oriented signs, but this Saturn often produces self-taught minds, drawn toward intuitive learning and long study in solitude. These individuals frequently become famous for their harsh, necessary social criticism, or for revolutionizing outdated systems.
Saturn in Mula 4 lends a grave seriousness to the imagination. The native may treat wild ideas with sobering discipline. Theories others dismiss as impossible become their lifelong work. This applies both to science and spirituality, quantum ideas, theology, radical social philosophy, or metaphysics.Detached but Devoted: Emotional detachment is tested by Cancer’s lunar pull. These natives may suppress their tenderness under an austere intellectual mask, but they feel deeply. Isolated Genius: Not always understood by their contemporaries. May dwell in obscurity for years before gaining recognition. Some only become icons posthumously.
Emotional Karma: There may be deep ancestral wounds, family alienation, exile, shame, or guilt. The Moon’s influence brings strong memory, sometimes carrying unresolved past-life burdens. Unconventional Path: May rise to prominence without formal credentials. Cancer Navamsa gives intuitive genius, often fed by hardship. Loyal to Ideas: These natives are often stoic and self-sacrificing, with fierce loyalty to the truths they’ve discovered. Mula destroys comfort — and Saturn in Cancer Navamsa learns to live without emotional reassurance

Saturn in Purva Ashadha
“Go ahead punk! Make my day.” — Clint Eastwood
“Forgiving and being reconciled to our enemies or our loved ones are not about pretending that things are other than they are. It is not about patting one another on the back and turning a blind eye to the wrong. True reconciliation exposes the awfulness, the abuse, the hurt, the truth. It could even sometimes make things worse. It is a risky undertaking but in the end it is worthwhile, because in the end only an honest confrontation with reality can bring real healing. Superficial reconciliation can bring only superficial healing.” ― Desmond Tutu
“Despite a voluminous and often fervent literature on “income distribution,” the cold fact is that most income is not distributed: It is earned.” ― Thomas Sowell
“Since this is an era when many people are concerned about ‘fairness’ and ‘social justice,’ what is your ‘fair share’ of what someone else has worked for?” ― Thomas Sowell
These guys walk the talk, live their beliefs, walk hard roads that teach them humility even in the the abundance of Purva Ashadha. They try to walk their truth and sacrifice something for their beliefs. They develop a strong moral compass over time, but not without experiencing much moral lapse, especially forefather figures and way showers. Higher wisdom through struggle and experience.
With Saturn here, you often see a firm resistance to vague ideology: they want proof, practical application, and structure. This is why they have too much trouble with teachers and gurus, they won’t accept anything at face value, they doubt everything. They’re the ones asking questions while everyone else is silently nodding, accepting the wisdom that is being shared with them.
Thomas Sowell’s hardline realism, his conservative, meritocracy, is a perfect example of this Saturn. They value what’s earned, not what’s handed out. They often mistrust systems that preach fairness but function without accountability. And it might be because they have been so heavily held to account for their beliefs and ideas; what the use? How do these theories work out in reality. They have a funny way of testing many of them. In the end they are likely to come back to the more conservative rules bused beliefs they rebelled against in their youth. Though in all honesty, I don’t think Sowell had much rebellion in his youth.
This can give a beautiful setting to the work place which usually suggests a higher standing in society. They believe in hard work, commitment and dedication in order to live the good life. They are likely to reflect often refined and serious aesthetic. They will have nice classical taste, working with classical forms, natural elements, or historical elegance. Of course Venus generally rules over these things, and Jupiter and Moon would also have much to say about their aesthetic sensibilities.
Teachers and gurus can be harsh with them. Due to the high expectations of the teacher they might be treated as though they are a little dense; this might also be because of their resistance to the point of view of others. They can be directly confrontational. This makes them at getting involved with media controversy. And although they can be somewhat tiresome to the teacher, they are good students with a sincere desire to learn. They are usually unafraid to ask the “dumb questions” that others might also be wondering about but are too afraid to ask. They often become disillusioned with teachers or gurus; Gurus give them much to doubt. They are slow to find the deeper meaning of life, they have to do it on their own time.
They tend to be more conservative in their political views and practical in their spiritual views. They learn early that life is not fair, we have to work hard and earn our place in this world. Later life is usually easier than early life since they spend most of their time working in search of the ideal or in search of the true essence of things. This is likely to have a negative effect on their relationships as they often take things that are supposed to be light and make them a bit overly serious. They demand truth, honesty, accountability, and depth in people and in life, but especially in their partners. They are not easy partners to be with, one needs to rise high and stay there
They can be quite adaptable in their careers and in completing their duties. They often learn this from dealing with seemingly irrational elders whose demands can be difficult to decipher. In some sense they might be expected to be mind readers.
“Respect your efforts, respect yourself. Self-respect leads to self-discipline. When you have both firmly under your belt, that’s real power.” ― Clint Eastwood
“First, I blow a hole in your face; then I go back inside, and sleep like a baby… I guarantee you.” ― Clint Eastwood
Saturn in Purva Ashadha Pada 1, Leo Navamsha:
They can have a strong ambition for earned respect. This Saturn in Leo navamshi is like a philosopher king for the common man. Tough, forged, people who command respect. Several of these natives are quite athletic. Though Proust was practically bed-ridden. But even from bed he made a heroic effort to reclaim lost time. Their beliefs become crafted in their physical form, a dry, hot fire. A powerful determination to follow their dharma no matter what. They can be cold and harsh with those who have’t earned respect. Saturn in Leo navamsha wants to shine, it will work hard to get the spotlight. They are likely to be humiliated a few times, but they won’t give up. William James’ pragmatism and his struggles between the metaphysical and practical reality are a good example of this Saturn. Their contrary nature brings them to a position of leadership, respect, authority. We can see how AOC’s rigid adherence to ideology and contrary nature has been used to gain the spot-light and a platform.

There can be a little more self-criticism, negativity, perfectionism and a sharp eye for detail. They can be good engineers, fighters. The refined aesthetic sensibilities of Apas and Purva Ashadha are still here, but Virgo is working that much harder to make it practical and bring it into this world. From another perspective it seems much of their strength comes from not saying much at all, almost like their silence is strength, wisdom, broader vision of life. They will probably meet with much hypocrisy in life, at least much to criticise, this will push them to follow the beat of their own drum, since they can’t find meaning, purpose or any kind of direction anywhere else, they are forced to find their own path, create their own meaning. They can become quite stoic and cool, almost cruel in their disinterest; purposefully picking ideological for religious tension. This can easily become a self-righteous rebellion. Many of the actors were famous for their detached sense of cool, one can easily see how the fighters and serial killers with this are also capable in keeping cool. This was one of the mantras my father taught me, just be cool man; be cool. Many of these peopler almost comically cool, characters of cool. Some of them were so cool they beat or killed people. And I imagine the fellow who first isolated morphine was super cool, floating in a watery morphine haze. But they also make things happen, make them real, taxable.

Saturn in Purva Ashadha Pada 3, Libra Navamsha:
Saturn is exalted in navamsha. Later in life they will learn to be more charming and diplomatic in their dealing with others which sets them up for success. They are more social than many of the other padas. They learn the subtle art of compromise; they accept some limitations on their action. Their diplomacy skills makes them a little better with people, but there is a still a lack of sincerity that can infect their more personal relationships. Too cold and calculated. The ultimately have some kind of fear of other people and of commitment. Science, law, consequence, They develop more flexibility in their beliefs, their world view. It can still be quite conservative and punitive; but they are developing some flexibility. But lots of people studying the hard sciences, the uncompromising laws of nature and existence. This Saturn can carry a person from reality to ultimate reality.
Kantian philosophy is not so different from non-duality. They both emphasis how the structure of consciousness shapes our perception of reality Kant argues that space, time, and causality are not objective truths but forms imposed by the mind, while Shaivism teaches that all experience arises as a limited projection of Shiva consciousness; the world is a manifestation within awareness: the tree falling in a forest needs a conscious awareness to witness it for it to be real. But t he field of conscious awareness is also quite wide. Kant was ultimately a theologist ground in western empiricism, but he believed ultimate reality was beyond logic and reason and ultimately beyond the scope of philosophy from the western perspective. Ultimate reality is ultimately contacted through the heart. Quantum mechanics also has many similarities with Shaivism. Is reality a wave or a particle, a pulsation. And is the silent part of the pulsation just as real as the sound part that catches our attention and can be said to be something. Is the nothing also something: nothing?

Saturn in Purva Ashadha Pada 4, Scorpio Navamsha:
Deep, transformative psychological intensity; prophetic, contains of secret and sacred knowledge, . Saturn, the one who resists change ends up resisting forced changes. There can be big secrets, a deep sense of guilt, perhaps fort a death. They might also have ben brought clseoto death and they maintain a strong healthy) fear of death A lot of repressed emotion. They might be marginalised early in life. Often times they are the trigger for others to have a profound transformation.

Saturn in Uttara Ashadha
The people working for you may be celebrated Gurus or Professors. Their authority will grow slowly with the dedications and hard work of Sani, but they might become a celebrated gurus late in life. There can be some friction between Saturn and Sun here and they might struggle against authority or have to shadow some authority for a long time before they get the post themselves this may breed some anger and resentment. But it can also drive them to work harder (rather than smarter). And although they tend so seek approval from others, they can also be a harsh judge against others who seem to attain easy success.
They are often public servant who get some power from their position. But they also discover that it’s a lonely climb to the top. They are almost always working.
Saturn in Uttara Ashadha Pada 1, Sagittarius Navamsha:
Vargottama & Pushkara navamsha. They tend to be working for some humanitarian or ideological cause. They often become spiritual or religious leaders. Corporate managers, brand managers working on a global level. They often do work that is outside of their comfort zone (where no man has gone before) they are always learning but hey have little respect for established culture norms. Public enemy number one. In some cases, this is because they are indeed the best in their field so everyone is gunning for them. They might indeed be the enemy of local cultures, coming in from outside to regulate the way things are done locally. Spiritual leaders or cultural reformers who challenge the norms and are shut out from society in some way. Exile. “Why does no one understand what I’m trying to do?” – These natives often feel misunderstood, polarizing, or prematurely judged. Saturn’s fear of instability merges with Sagittarius’ hunger for truth: creating a disciplined seeker of liberation, sometimes cast as a heretic. They often redefine moral boundaries through radical examples or innovations.

Saturn in Sagittarius 1st house
Rules the 2nd & 3rd houses for Sagittarius ascendant.
Phala Deepika Saturn in 1st house: “Causes one to be afflicted with sorrow and misery from early childhood and is sure to suffer from poverty and want. He is untidy and indolent.”
Jataka Bharnam Saturn in 1st house: “If Saturn is exalted or in own sign the native becomes the king of his country or his own city, but in any other sign he is unfortunate, diseased and devoid of wealth. The disease will affect that part of the body represented by the sign.”
B.V. Raman Saturn in the 1st house: “Foreign customs will be easily copied and imitated. If Saturn is not afflicted there will be much concern for others. Self-confidence is normally justified. Moral stability will also be marked. The disposition is calm, grave and serious. The body will be weak and emancipated. Progress in any venture will be slow but certain. There may come an aversion for responsibility. This position makes habits inactive. Loss through negligence and lack of opportunity are possible. The same results will be noticed when Saturn aspects the ascendant. Misfortune is likely in the early part of life.”
Chamatkar Chintamani Saturn in the 1st house: “The native has plenty of wealth, unabated greed. Discontented, quarrelsome, unhappy, crude. Poisonous glance; mental agony, bilious, jealous. The native is rich, has regrets, disputes, destroys the strongest enemies but is dissatisfied, perturbed, angry, Saturn-like looks, jealous of others property and victims of various ailments. The native is sick, sexy, gloomy, lazy, faces various ailments in childhood. Their temperament is subtle, acquisitive, penetrative, careful, secretive, and sometimes gloomy and discontented. There is loss through sickness, misfortune and delays. Generally these natives are deficient in Phosphate and Calcium. They are given to nervousness, timidity, and diffidence in youth; boldness from middle age.
If Saturn is in it’s own sign, exalted or in Sagittarius, Pisces the native is affluent like a king, chief of the village or town; learned, a scholar, handsome, long-lived and charming. Respiratory problems if Saturn is afflicted. If it is unfavourable, trouble due to poverty, own acts, evil spirits, devils and thieves. Saturn is very troublesome causing total ruin. This Saturn can kill the enemy just by his poisonous looks. If afflicted by the Moon, they will live only by the mercy of others; but this is modified if aspected by a benefic. If well-placed by sign or aspect the native is contemplative and considerate, discrete, prudent, systematic, diligent, frugal, intimate, attentive, quiet, sincere, and serious, loves merit, thoughtful, growth and success are slow but sure. Afflicted Saturn indicates trouble and sickness in the part of the body represented by the sign it’s in.
The native with Saturn in Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces prefers service and gets promotion after pursuing seniors. Fortune smiles on him by retirement time. There is only one marriage; sons are few or none but many daughters. He has large but weak eyes, commanding speech, authoritative look if in Aries, Leo or Sagittarius.
He is best by age 56 but suffers economic loss in the 25th and 31st year. Marriage is denied or the partner fails to survive if afflicted by Venus. Wealth and sons do not go together. Trouble through business. Accidents, sudden death or imprisonment if afflicted by Mars. Wicked and deprived if it conjoins Moon. Ugly and poorly dressed if in Leo or Sagittarius. Good natured in Aries, Cancer, Leo, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Pisces.”
Jataka Bharnam “Moon & Saturn conjunction allows the native to enjoy sex with many women, loves and prostitutes. They have a guilty disposition, mixed blood and are devoid of manliness. They do agriculture or labour work and often take part in local elections and may be successful. In a female, this conjunction in the 7th house will give menstrual irregularities and in a male chart they might lack interest in sexual intercourse.”
BPHS 2nd lord in the 1st house: “The native will be endowed with sons and wealth, will be inimical to his family, lustful, hard-hearted and will do others’ jobs. These inauspicious effects are most particular for Virgo ascendant.”
B.V. Raman 2nd lord in the 1st house: “The native becomes no doubt wealthy but he hates his own family, lacks polite manners, becomes passionate, subservient and time-serving. One will earn money by his own effort, intelligence and learning or he will get inherited wealth if the 9th lord or the Sun has anything to do with this combination.”
BPHS 3rd lord in the 1st house: “The native will have self-made wealth, will be of a disposition to serve, will be valorous, and intelligent but devoid of learning.”
B.V. Raman 3rd lord in the 1st house: “Earns livelihood by self exertion, becomes vindictive, lean tall body, brave and courageous, always sickly and serving others. When well-fortified they become an expert in dancing, music, acting and means of livelihood will be primarily fine arts. He will earn good name as an actor.”

They will have to learn humility and austerity. Serious people, philosophical. They religious of philosophical path might be a significant part of who they are. A bit of a philosopher monk learning from experience, self effort often in public service or service to others. Aflictions here will make life all the ore difficult, poverty stricken, suffering or chronic illness. The natural joy of Sagittarius is diminished and cloaked by fear. Youth is usually particularly difficult, they have to overcome much adversity. They are often separated from their family of family wealth; there might be a loss of everything, loss of saving, and perhaps even a loss of the family lineage, value, or even a loss of face in some way. They could be kinda nomadic, perhaps going away from wealth and saving form all the support of 2nd house. They try to live up to their own ideals.
Sagittarius makes them large bodied, but Saturn keeps them thin and dry and brings some vata. It can make the firey nature of sagittarius more destructive.
A life of pilgrimage in some form. They might go away from their family but maintain the family name. Wealth, values, their skills and the teams they belong to will form a major part of their personal identity. They can be a tradesman. A strong silent type who has to work hard and earn for themselves everything they have in life. They value tradition and the old ways, but will learn through the hard ways.
This Saturn supports working with law and policy, but hard workers who earn their way, more of a worker bee than charismatic leader. Humble, well respected later in life, after they earn it and work for it. Their Sanitarian nature gives them a natural respect for religious and spiritual traditions, through early in life they might have been more of a black sheep in the flock. They might prefer to follow natural law, Saturn’s law of consequences, rather than Jupitarian faith; but a strong Jupiter can bring increases here.
Third house involvement can bring skills into their identity, the ability to do many different things; bread and practical mindset. Saturn ruling with communication houses can make them a little stoic, quiet, subtler gestures. They can also be speakers, they can be good explainers of theory, philosophy, ideology, psychology, science, practical and technical; that line where theory meets with reality. To some degree, the second lord in the 1st house gives a lot of self reflection about ones place in the lineage of giants.
Saturn in Mula 1st House
He is ugly but rich, many responsibilities. They have a good head for numbers, economics, business and investing. Some of these natives will learn the value of hard work early in life, others when they are middle aged. They have a good head for numbers, testing theories of economics, wealth,
Saturn keeps them thin and dry and brings some vata. It can make the firey nature of sagittarius more destructive. Their austerity’s of sprititual religious austerity’s can be self destructive.

Queen Bloody Mary: Saturn conjunct Mars. Aspected Jupiter. Jupiter in Gemini. Only surviving child of Catherine of Aragon. She ascended to the throne after the death of her half-brother, Edward VI. A devout Catholic whose main goal was to restore Catholicism in England, which had been undermined by her father’s (King Henry VIII) establishment of the Church of England. Her reign saw the execution of numerous Protestant reformers, including prominent figures like Archbishop Thomas Cranmer, who was burned at the stake. She only ruled from 1553 to 1558. She didn’t live to see Saturn Mahadasha didc’y start until long after her death. Rah Saturn: Her half brother died and she was inaugurated as Queen of England. She got married, had a false pregnancy (may miscarriage, maybe a tumour) her husband left and left her heart broken. She started er brutal executions of protestant. (See Saturn 5th from Moon.)
——- From Moon ——————————
Bryan Adams: Saturn conjunct Moon; no aspects. Jupiter in Scorpio. Singer. Saturn Mahadasha starts 2027. Saturn moon can give harsh absent maternal figures. Periods of depression of brooding. Their beliefs can go pretty dark especially with Jupiter in Scorpio. (See Saturn 5th house.)
Erich Fromm: Saturn conjunct Moon; no aspects; Jupiter in Scorpio. He was concerned with alienation, love, and the loss of human connection in capitalist society Rejected both Freud’s reductionism and Marx’s materialism — tried to create a psychology of freedom, integrating social responsibility, ethics, and human purpose Saturn-Moon in Sagittarius: He emotionally carried the weight of the world’s suffering. Believed the human condition was one of inner conflict between freedom and belonging. Saturn Mahadasha 1981 – 2000: (See Saturn 4th house.)
Albert Fish: Saturn conjunct Moon & Ketu; No aspects; Jupiter in Taurus. He was one of the most brutal serial killers ever. He was known as the boogy man for his penchant for snacking children, molesting them, killing them, and often eating them. It’s likely he had several hundred victims. He was eventually caught, incarcerated and gleefully given the electric chair. At his execution he said: “Wow, I never tried this before.” One sick puppy. Saturn Mahadasha didn’t start until 1925. The combination of Saturn and Ketu were too much the moon. The emotional fear and insecurities of Saturn Moon become fragmented and break away from reality. Lacks empathy, or any emotional connections whatsoever. Ketu opens the gates of time in the way trauma confuses a person and the time and space, memory and reality, threat assessment. They are essentially emotionally dead. The only way to stabile this is through an isolated kind of shamanism involving ritual sacrifice. Solitary confinement and the death sentence was another option. The only emotion he was able to feel was through death, loss absence, disintegration. Emotionally, hormonally, he was essentially dead, not of this world. Since this happened in Sagittarius, it warped his spiritual outlook and corrupted his morals. His belief system was able to rationalise his evil. An aspect from Jupiter could have led him down a path spiritual tapas, but it may have only given a religious excuse for his actions. (See Saturn 12th house.)
Oonagh Shanley-Toffolo: Saturn conjunct Moon; aspected by Mars, Venus & Rahu; no neighbours; Jupiter in Taurus. Nurse, nun, acupuncturist. Princess Diana’s health advisor.Saturn Mahadasha 2011 – 2030: (See Saturn in 4th house.)

Saturn in Sagittarius 2nd house
Rule the 3rd & 4th houses for Scorpio ascendant.
Phala Deepika Saturn in 2nd house: “Will give an ugly look, cause one to be without wealth and take an evil path. At a later age he will go to live in a foreign country. He will own vehicle wealth and other luxuries.”
Jataka Bharnam Saturn in 2nd house: “The native lives with other men, is addicted to some evil habit (like drinking), is deserted by his own men, wanders in different countries, gets honour from the king, wealth and conveyance. It often happens that they have to live far away from their family. Their speech is harsh, they are thrifty, there is some possibility of disease of the mouth and they might not be pretty.”
B.V. Raman Saturn in the 2nd house: “Unless exalted or in own house it tends to make earning an uphill struggle. Much work with little gain. Harsh speech, unsocial, sorrowful and roaming about aimlessly, the person comes across many opportunities but seldom takes advantage of them. In family life he will be unhappy. He will gain by dealing with metals, storage, mines, labour, etc. He will be unpopular.”
Chamatkar Chintamani Saturn in the 2nd house: “Leaving behind his family he travels far and wide to obtain every kind of pleasure and success. Far from being sweet to friends, he is irrelevant, unbecoming, unbearable, harsh and bitter in speech. Even then, gain and success through all eight metals, specifically iron and every other luxury in life. To achieve his selfish ends every method is fair. The native is wealthy, poverty through wrath of a higher authority. He is a liar, restless, an imposture, there is loss of wealth through suffering, speech defect, biliousness, phlegmatic, rheumatic. He is base, poor in own country, affluent in foreign countries and a life full of luxury late in life only. If Saturn is in any sign other than Libra, the native is sensual, suffers from it, forsaken by own family members. Settles abroad later in life, gain through royal favour. The native gains from wood, coal, iron, and other base jobs. He practices magic and charm and his sister’s children fail to survive.
If aspected by a friendly planet or a benefic, the native is religious, kind, honest and truth loving. Successful when he changes his residence, later on he acquires wealth, conveyance and every means of pleasure but no younger brothers. He is a thief with a great collection, but sweet and soft spoken. The native is a dependent, surrounded by many troubles; own relatives desert him; in the last half of life he migrates to a foreign land where he prospers and enjoys conveyance, recognition and success in life.
The native marries twice, suffers eye trouble, loss through agriculture; he may be the chief of a monetary. If afflicted by a malefic he will cheat women, face an unprofitable up hill struggle and be blunt to the opportunities that come his way. There are many failures for want of money and failures can be avoided to gain success in land, property, produce, mines, storage, investments, minerals, building labour etc. if the directions in which this Saturn in operating are thoroughly accounted for. There is gain from antiques, museum work, uncommon paths, curios etc. A good aspect from Jupiter or Venus or well poised by sign indicates thrift, economy and wise investments. Gain by labour, land, building, farming, heavy trading minerals, transport, public appointments, investments, speculation, responsibility and method. Saturn protects the traits of the house it is posited in, destroys by aspect.
In Aries, Gemini, Leo, or Sagittarius indicates two marriages, progeny, wealth, honour. Absence of accumulation, investment on house property and land., Trouble through over-eating. Success through soft and sweet tone. Trouble through partner, gain through societies. If in Aries, Leo or Sagittarius, gain from going North.“
BPHS 3rd lord in the 2nd house: “The native will be corpulent, devoid of valour, less disposed to take initiative, unhappy, and have eyes for the wealth and wives of others.”
B.V. Raman 3rd lord in the 2nd house: “This is an unfavourable position as it makes the native unscrupulous unless there are other favourable influences. He will make advances on wealth and women of others. Likes mean deeds and is generally devoid of happiness. He is likely to loose his younger brothers.”
BPHS 4th lord in the 2nd house: “The native will enjoy pleasures, all kinds of wealth, family life, honour and adventure. He will be cunning and deceptive in disposition.”
B.V. Raman 4th lord in the 2nd house: “He will be highly fortunate, courteous and happy. He will have a sarcastic nature. He will inherit property from maternal grandfather.”

Moral economy. They seek to accumulate wealth in order to feel secure; Saturn gives them an active fear that they don’t have enough. As the 4th lord, Saturn tries to anchor itself in material values, leading to hoarding, conservatism, or austerity in food, speech, or possessions. They might do well with something like a mono-diet. This diet restriction is just as likely to be socio-religious as to be for health reasons. The tens to see speech and food through a moral lense. This can also relate with their sense of style which might start on the factory floor with a preference for4 ethical sourcing of materials, food, farming. The moola part of Sagittarius will be especially concerned with knowing the source of their consumption, tracking things from eggs to chicken, from the seed tot he table. Additional affliction to Saturn can bring disorders around food and eating. Ketu with Saturn can. Be especially dilimic or following starvation diets. Rahu influence can make them hyper-focused on things like food, speech writing and showing their face to the world.
This Saturn also regulates their speech making it slow, harsh, crude. They will typically have a more formal style, serious look, conventional, bureaucratic, and functional in appearance. This Saturn can affect their sense of taste unless there are beneficial aspects; they lack taste to some degree. They can get into collecting antiques, nice ones if Venus aspects; it will be a more conventional, perhaps bureaucratic style if Jupiter is involved. Accounting, business, finance of legal studies are most likely with Jupiter’s help as well. Venus might seek to conserve or preserve art, beautiful things. Mercury will store all kinds of information and communications tools: books, computers, reference papers, study materials, paperwork generally. With influence of Mars they might have therapeutic devices, health care, exercise, or even tools for survival.
They value experience, functionality, longevity, a bit of wear and tear and imperfection. They appreciate things that age well, natural materials like wood, leather, stone. Time itself becomes valuable to these people: time is money. Prosperity will come from commercial business (3rd house) and real estate and agriculture (4th house). They take a long term global outlook with wealth, savings storage. They will know what it feels like to be broke. Many of theme experience this in their youth and work hard to ensure they down’t suffer the same in old age. Their desire to control wealth and the means of production can also be their biggest downfall since they can be a little closed minded or short sighted. And the ethical implications are always there in everything they own or control. Adam’s Smiths vision of capitalism in Wealth of Nations was regulated by moralistic considerations If they are a farmer, they will use ethical practices, likely organic, fair, free and ethical trade. There can be no certain level of virtue signalling regarding wealth, resources allocation, values, specs, image, and dietary choices. They need to watch for the “you should’s…..”: and the” you need to….. “. Often times their public image or the face they show to the world is driven by fear, shame, guilt, and judgment. Of course this also described their family values that will always relate with the scarcity of Saturn in one way or another,
They may speak with weight, claim the moral high ground, or become symbolic of a certain “right way” or even highway, whether it’s in food, finances, family, or philosophy. There can be some thin g righteous in their words o the way they use them. They are ideologically in the right. Their strict moralism is channelled through their speech and may be expressed through their diet later in life. Saturn will not give a nice voice, but on is compelled to take them seriously.
Education may also be related with banking ethics,
Saturn in Mula 2nd House
Good for the study of economics, practical mathematics. Management of natural resources. Can give knowledge of ancient languages or sometimes highly technical or symbolic language like advanced mathematics. Ketu’s influence can cause a person to speak in tongues.
Vladamire Lenin: Saturn has no conjunctions; no aspects; Jupiter in Taurus. He was frugal with words, avoiding flowery speech. He ate vegetarian diet for most of his life; especially y later in life. Lenin maintained a simple diet, often consisting of basic foods like eggs and milk soup. He had little interest in food and sometimes experienced stomach issues due to irregular eating habits. During his exile in Shushenskoye, he consumed fresh local products, including meat and dairy. He was not a vegetarian and occasionally drank alcohol in moderation. Saturn Mahadasha 1920 – 1939: He died at his peak in 1924, shortly after Saturn Dasha began. USSR institutionalized his image posthumously. He destroyed the old system, completely eliminating it at the root and founded a new system. He suffered from hyperacusis, insomnia, and regular headaches. He experienced multiple strokes between 1922 and 1923, leading to significant health decline. (See Saturn 2nd house.)
Pence: Saturn aspected by Moon. Jupiter in Scorpio. Vice president, Governor, Lawyer, Evangelical Christian. They say his strict, traditional evangelical beliefs that emerged as a counter-force to earlier confusion or moral doubt. Pence maintains an “excellent diet and exercise program” and has never smoked or consumed alcohol. He has publicly expressed support for red meat consumption. Pence has seasonal allergies, a history of basal cell carcinomas removed in 2002 and 2010, and underwent hernia surgery in 2015. He also has diet-controlled heartburn. Saturn Mahadasha 1988 – 2007 (age 29 – 48): He lost his first congressional campaign (1988, 1990) — classic Saturnian trials. He rebranded, aligning deeply with evangelical conservatism, hosting radio shows, and becoming a moral voice. He won a congressional seat in 2000 and built his political career step-by-step — Saturn’s slow, methodical rise. It ended just before he became Governor of Indiana (2013) — but clearly laid the foundation for it. (See Saturn 7th from Moon.)
Emile Zola: Saturn aspected by Ketu. Jupiter in Libra. Saturn mahadasha didn’t come until 1929; more than 20 years after his accidental death. He is most famous for, “j’accuse!” Letter in the Dreyfus affair. He risked prison and exile, the same way a modern whistleblower might. Publicly challenged the French military and justice system. Framed his protest in moral, not political, language — appealing to truth, justice, and conscience. This episode cemented Zola as not just a novelist but a moral figure in public life, akin to a modern whistleblower or activist intellectual. He died of carbon monoxide poisoning caused by an improperly ventilated chimney
Zola was the father of naturalism in literature — a movement focused on showing life as it is: raw, material, driven by heredity, environment, and social conditions. But within that realism, he infused a deep sense of social responsibility. He often portrayed injustice, poverty, vice, and corruption not just as facts of life, but as failures of society. There’s a clear sympathy for the working class, and a critique of bourgeois hypocrisy and institutional cruelty. Much of his writing carries a judgemental tone. His speech was also slow, deliberate and serious. (See Saturn 10th from Moon.)
Jacques Parizeau: Saturn aspected by Jupiter, Mars & Rahu. Jupiter in Gemini. Economist, Quebec separatist. Parizeau experienced back problems after a serious fall in Mali and had breathing difficulties. Saturn Mahadasha 1969 – 1988: (See Saturn 12th from Moon..)
Miguel de Cervantes: (rectification will take some work as his birth date is only within a couple of days.) Saturn aspected by Mars; making sign exchange with Jupiter in Aquarius. Author of Don Quixote. Cervantes suffered from malaria in his youth and later experienced symptoms consistent with hydropsy (edema), possibly due to heart failure or other conditions. He was advised to quit drinking but had trouble with this. First two years of life may have been Saturn Mahadasha. (See Saturn 4th house.)
Erich Kastner: Saturn conjunct Venus & Rahu; aspected by Mars. Satirist, novelist, screenwriter. He suffered from alcoholism and died of esophageal cancer. Saturn Mahadasha didn’t start until 1979. (See Saturn 5th from Moon.)
——- From Moon ——————————
Adam Smith: Saturn conjunct Jupiter; aspected by Sun & Mercury. Saturn Mahadasha birth – 1728 (age 5): He was still a little boy when Saturn Mahadasha ended. It suggests a strict religious environment when he was young, but the world shifts by the time he is getting to there age where he had to deal with it. His moralistic preaching was directly tied to the stores of food and wealth. The Mula influence helped him to go to the root of the economic problems that still plague the distribution of food and wealth. Systems of ethical value. His father died before he was born which also restricted the family wealth. (See Saturn in ascendant.)
Warren Buffett Saturn aspected by Jupiter, Mars & Rahu. Jupiter in Gemini. This Saturn allows him to see through much of the Maya and confusion of financial systems to recognize the core value. I suspect this Saturn also helps people too see into the future, to see not only the heart of where things stand, but to know where they are going. He could anticipate the effect from the cause. Despite his excessive wealth, he always maintained a fairly practical working class dress: simple, practical, functional and comfortable. Saturn Mahadasha birth – 1936 (age 6): (See Saturn in ascendant.)
Charles Dickens: Saturn aspected by Jupiter & Rahu. Jupiter in Gemini. Novelist, social critic. He literally wrote the book about tight fisted Scrooge at Christmas time. His own father was in debtor’s prison when he was born. Financial straights, moral austerity. He heavily criticised what he saw as a tight fist3d greedy, wealthy elite. Aspect from Jupiter helps lift this Saturn to a higher intellectual level, and Rahu intensifies it to that his message was undeniably preachy and moralistic to a point which was probably annoying to the many who felt the finger pointing at them. (See Saturn in 5th house.)
Amanda Nunes: Saturn aspected by Venus, Mercury, Jupiter & Ketu. Jupiter in Aries. MMA. Lots going on here, lots of strong aspects to Saturn fortifying it in style, beauty, communications, ect. She no doubt has tried to be an ethical role model for the kids, for her fans; but to some degree, Ketu doesn’t give he a leg to stand on. Style can a be a little no style; she can probably be a little opportunistic in speaking or for blowing the whistle; only speaking up when there is really nothing to loose. Ketu can also limit consequences against here so that she doesn’t actually have to experiences the consequences of bad choices. This might shield others as well. Saturn Mahadasha 1994 – 2013: (See Saturn 5th house.)
Sharon Stone: Saturn aspected by Ketu; Jupiter in Libra. First 13 years were Saturn Mahadasha. So many of these people had to deal with this Saturn in their early childhood. This a good match for Saturn oil 2nd house. The effects are often felt on the while family rather than in a personal way. But there is bit of tightfisted survival instinct. Hard lessons about resources comes early. Affliction to this Saturn can bring food and eating disorders. (See Saturn 5th house.)
Saturn in Purva Ashadha 2nd House
This Saturn makes a person very driven in their field. They are often champions of some moral cause: truth and righteousness, This Saturn learns to preserve, conserve resources. This might relate with the natural resources land and water ways. I get a sense that the people still wearing masks 5 years after COVID has passed might have this preachy, moralistic, “I’m more moral that you” perspective that has a tendency to lean in and tell people how things are done and what are the rules. The ladies with this might be more focused on the rules of style, speech, voice: don’t wear white after Labour Day (and this kind of thing)>
Peter Kropotkin: Saturn conjunct Rahu & Venus; aspected by Mars; making sign exchange with Jupiter in Capricorn. Aristocrat, military officer, geologist in Siberia, decentralised anarco-communisim. Influence by Mars & Rahu intensified the revolutionary force of his beliefs. He rejected his aristocratic “home” to live close to peasants → dismantling the root system. He was a bit idealistic and believed and a kind of workers utopia highlighting philosophical austerity, anti-institutional restructuring. Most anarchists of his time were vegetarian but there is no documentation of his dietary habits. Saturn Mahadasha 1862 – 1881: (See Saturn 11th from Moon.)
Thomas Sowell: Saturn aspected by Sun, Jupiter & Rahu. Jupiter in Gemini. Economist, libertarian-conservative. He has a son. He has written about his experiences with late-talking children, inspired by his own child’s development. Saturn Mahadasha 2007 – 2026: (See Saturn 5th from Moon.)

Prince Andrew Duke of York: Saturn conjunct Jupiter; no aspects.
Ketu Saturn 2002 – ’03: he moved into a massive family mansion with his wife and children. Ketu disconnects; Saturn in Mula cuts deeper. Moving into a mansion with family during this time can symbolically represent clinging to status/family as identity—while Ketu-Saturn subtly begins the process of detachment and reckoning.
Venus Saturn 2017 – ’20: He had to sell the mansion. The fallout. Venus rules comforts, beauty, and social image; Saturn here delivers loss, shame, or public accountability, particularly in relation to property, image, and female relationships. Selling the mansion during this period reflects the dissolving of a material-symbolic structure of identity, a classic Saturn-in-Mula outcome.
Saturn Mahadasha 1961 – 1980: This entire foundational period (childhood–early adulthood) would be marked by strictness, public image conditioning, and karmic formation. The influence of Saturn in Mula would foster deep-rooted insecurities and survival instincts, often buried under aristocratic structures. (See Saturn 6th house.)
Holy Roman Emperor Maximilian I: Saturn aspected by Rahu; Jupiter in Virgo. this position often reflects the weight of ancestral or dynastic duty Aspect from Rahu worldly ambition, a tendency to challenge social or ethical norms, and to pursue grand objectives—but often through non-traditional or manipulative means. Rahu–Saturn patterns also often reflect legacy disruption or the desire to reshape social or political systems, often through ruthless or strategic means. a serious, conservative, legacy-driven approach to wealth, language, and family. The Rahu aspect added ruthless ambition, while Jupiter in Virgo grounded this with intellectual and legalistic strategies. His Saturn Mahadasha brought dynastic positioning, material consolidation, and responsibility at a young age—hallmarks of Mula-Saturn in the 2nd house. This placement mirrors a deep, karmic mission to reshape family legacy through institutional power—and the willingness to endure burdens for it.
Saturn Mahadasha 1460 – 1479: He was married at 18 (to Mary of Burgundy), thus beginning the enormous expansion of Habsburg influence. This period solidified his economic and territorial base, thanks to inheritance and marriage—a very Saturn-in-2nd outcome: wealth and power come through heavy responsibility and alliances. (See Saturn 4th house.)
Rembrandt: Saturn aspected by Mercury; making exchange with Jupiter in Aquarius. A lifelong battle with money and bankruptcy, despite his immense talent. A formal, traditional approach to composition and portraiture (typical of Saturn in the 2nd). A sense of inner austerity, gravity, and even spiritual loneliness in his later self-portraits. Jupiter in Aquarius offers a visionary, detached philosophical perspective; when linked by exchange to Saturn in Sagittarius, it creates a push-pull between structure and innovation, the classical and the idealistic. This exchange likely deepened his moral tone, his artistic mastery, and his use of light and shadow to convey ethical and spiritual truths. Also, it gave intellectual and philosophical depth to his portrayals of suffering, aging, and transcendence — echoing the Jupiter–Saturn tension.
Saturn Mahadasha 1607 – 1626: Born into a prosperous family, he attended Latin school and enrolled at the University of Leiden. He began training as a painter started showing serious discipline and ambition in the visual arts (See Saturn 5th house.)
Saturn in Uttara Ashadha 2nd House
Can give a food/restaurant business, factory food, franchise. A deep understanding of economics, supply and demand, food storage and logistics, value, branding image. It actually works quite well for the founder of MacDonalds, modern industrial food processing packaging and sales. This Saturn will limit the nourishment and food to keep it proletarian, practical, cheap and just good enough to get the job done.
Karl von Habsburg: Saturn conjunct Sun & Jupiter; aspected by Mars & Rahu. EU Parliament; want to bring back the Holy Roman Empire. Saturn Mahadasha 1989 – 2008: (See Saturn 3rd from Moon.)

Saturn in Sagittarius 3rd house
Rules the 4th & 5th houses for Libra ascendant.
Phala Deepika Saturn in 3rd house: “Will make a man sharp, liberal in giving gifts, and contented with his own wife. He will, however, be inactive and suffer from grief.”
Jataka Bharnam Saturn in 3rd house: “The person will get honour from government, have excellent conveyance, be chief of a village, valorous and supporter of many people. Ill-will, aversion and separation from one’s brothers. Slow in executing plans and less income from trade establishments than expected.”
B.V. Raman Saturn in the 3rd house “Brave and courageous, wealthy, loss of brothers, eccentric and cruel. Sorrow through brothers; honoured by rulers, the head or president of local boards, municipalities, etc. He will protect many people. He attains success only after he suffers disappointment and reverses. The tendency of the mind is toward gloom, anxiety and misgivings. The mental condition improves with age. If afflicted, the despondency is likely to run into mental affliction.”
Chamatkar Chintamani Saturn in the 3rd house: “The native with Saturn in the 3rd house feels mental agony through relatives and business. Many fruitless efforts and wide differences with own people. Lots of trouble and disturbances before gain. His hopes and longing never let him feel completely happy. Discontented with all the esteem and hospitality; ungrateful and harsh. The native is never satisfied with all the profits he makes. Encounters many difficulties before success. He is unkind and wicked to friends but wise and brave. He fosters friends and foes alike and gets government honour. Chivalrous and magnanimous, but has an absence of brothers. He is abstinent, wealthy, of noble descent, adept and merits. This Saturn is Maraka for younger brothers. With all the affluence he is lazy and melancholy. Increase of friends, gain of wealth and loss of younger brothers are the other results. The native struggles for fortune, gains through social, and has differences with relatives and in his association with menials. He is averse to work & religion, popular amongst women, revered in government circles, chief of the town or village and has many attendants. This Saturn denotes mental affliction and sinfulness. Gain and promotion of brothers if Saturn is exalted or in own sign. If associated with a malefic there is discord between brothers.
If strong by position or aspect, denotes responsibility, tact, diplomacy, power to contemplate, logic, rational mindedness, concentration, interest in philosophy, studies and writings. If afflicted, much discord and strife with everybody; given to hypocrisy, and treachery, deceitful, fits of passion, perverted, want of culture, dishonest tendencies, despondent. This native is much disappointed and gets annoyance through trouble, loss and delay in education, relatives, neighbours, travelling and changes. His early life is full of gloom, acquisitiveness, anxiety, restlessness and misgivings. His mental condition is modified with age.
Is favourable if in Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces. In masculine signs he is inimical to brothers and sisters, early children but a few may fail to survive. Good for longevity and the native shows mental control, steady thinking, concentration and orderly reasoning.”
BPHS 4th lord in the 3rd house: “The native will be valorous, will have servants, be liberal virtuous, charitable, will have self earned wealth and be free from disease.”
B.V. Raman 4th lord in the 3rd house: “The person will be sickly, generous, a man of character and will acquire wealth by self-effort. He will suffer from machinations of step-brother and step-mother.”
BPHS 5th lord in the 3rd house: “The native is dear to his brothers, a tale-bearer, miserly, always interested in own work. The native will be interested in drawing, painting, military science, physics, engineering and journalism. Bearing news from one place to another. If they are lacking education they will enjoy gossip.”
B.V. Raman 5th lord in the 3rd house: “If favourably disposed, many good children and brothers. If unfavourably disposed, loss of children, misunderstandings with brothers, and continuous occupational struggles. He will become stingy and a tale-bearer.”

This Saturn supports writing, publishing, journalism, legal arguments, or religious discourse. Serious conversation and meetings. They work hard to develops their skills, to craft a meassage. They take their hobbies seriously, will have a determined mentality. Tehy are pretty good communicators who often have a moral message for the masses. This Saturn is also good for teachers, preachers, coaches, book writers. They often take on a mentor leadership roles focused on group adherence to ethical or moral rules.
As 4th & 5th lord this Saturn rules over children, intelligence, creativity and foundational education. They bring all of this into their 3rd house for these Libra natives. Their serious mentality goes well with their natural diplomatic, peace keeping harmony seeking personality. They don’t rock the boat on purpose, but their nervous nature and anxiety over the details makes plenty of waves.
Their self expression can be a bit heavy, with a serious, moralistic tone. They will be protective and close to their small group of friends who have been friends forever. They might belong to some kind of spiritual or ideological group. They often take responsibility for the team, maybe they all did something together but only this native takes the blame. They might also have some special talent to lie with the facts; they can be quite creative and they have an inner discomfort that is soothed through communications, messages, long commutes, being away from home. There is a loss of home comforts. And gain from really putting themselves into things, putting their heart and soul to the message, into skills development. They have tenacity, grit, work ethic, especially when the work is ethical.
We might keep in mind that much of the expression, effect and results of this Saturn are internal, 3rd, 4th & 5th house; personal house: hobbies & neighbourhood, safe space & home, children & fun.
They can be very skilled with their hands, repetitive tasks, they do well with a rosary or a mala for repeating mantra. Worry beads. They can be good at arts, crafts, musical instruments, anything that ruses repetitive hand or finger movements. This Saturn can toughen up the hands with manual work; the calluses will build up somewhere. Since this Saturn is Yoga Karaka planet they can develop an unusual and unique skill in their field. They might also teach skills development courses, there are usually rules and protocols that have to be followed, certifications can be life or death. It’s a kind of philosophy of safety for going outside of the safe zone, for going to places where there are no rules and standard morality is not present.
There might be some danger in their area since survival skills seem common. There does not seem to the be the time or space for having fun, just enjoying life. This Saturn also aspects his own 5th house which can make them a bit of a party pooper. Due to their responsibilities to the team they might not get much sleep.
This Saturn supports all kinds of work in media and communications. They can be very good technical writers, perhaps even for legal papers. But also drafting, architecture and engineering, laying out the overall plans, the big plan; working with blueprints, maps, compass, land surveyors, cartography. They are good with big projects, planning, even administration and scheduling. They express themselves through their skills, it’s not just a job to them, they love it, manifesting things with a little grit, effort, hard work, sacrifice. The Sanitarian side of this wants their skill to be useful in a broader sense to uplifted and keep the group safe.
Many of them seem to fill a niche in their field. They pave the way for other outcasts and oddballs who are willing to traverse uncharted territory. They can be especially good with timing and delivery of sensitive messages. The are not particulate expressive, but they are admired for their composure, endurance, or precision and productivity.
Saturn in Mula 3rd House
Mula bring a deconstructionist themes, they break things down to get to the source. They strip things down to the bare necessities and then coat something new and unusual from that. before building from the ashes. They are usually fairly steady people, formal in their communications. This Yoga Karaka Saturn can be good for writing, administrative tasks, witness statements. There is almost something like a Boy Scout badges with this Saturn earring so many certificates for skills, abilities and tasks performed (performance and productivity reports). Their advancement through the hierarchy allows them to hold themselves with pride and dignity. They can be very powerful and strategic diplomates who will not betray with their true feelings. They will meet on principle, get to the point, strip away all the bull shit in meetings which might only be a formality anyways; but there can be many such formal meetings and gatherings.
They get a nice home, in a very old, or even ancient neighbourhood. They might spend much time with elder neighbours amongst ruins. Some natives get their foundational education through skills training.

Saturn in Uttara Ashadha 3rd House
Defenders of truth, traditional power structures, it’s as if history is calling them to act. There can be hand signals, gestures, mudras coded or symbolic (mula likes this too) communication. These gestures might also act as a kind of formality: a military salute, religious or ceremonial mudras, masonic gestures, secret or coded political hand signs. Even the formal almost theatrical royal stillness or economy of motion that actors or kathak dancers train for. Of course Leonard Nimoy also has his infamous hand gesture that is used as a means of greeting among Star Track fans. I suspect secret handshakes and special knocks on the door might also the a part of their life, The variety of signs and symbols in their life is often a language of it’s own; sometimes it’s merely technical language of a small group of specialists, sometimes it’s just the small details that tells someone in the know that the person is legit. Their calm cool dignified gestures suggest a sense of belonging to a spiritual order. Sun brings his elite status, Mars will bring more militant aggressive hand gestures.
To some degree, these are the big boys sitting at the big boy table handing out favours, a kind of royal functionary. Since this is Saturn and 3rd house they can’t be seen quite as a king since there is noththe same sovereignty, but it’s close, it’s an old team, everyone knows the rule book. But there is a lot of work to be done. There can be a great oath of sacrifice, to principles that are much greater than the individual, sealed by gesture.

Karl von Habsburg: Saturn conjunct Sun & Jupiter; aspected by Mars & Rahu. EU Parliament; wants to bring back the Holy Roman Empire. The sun brings power dynamics to this grand scheme of things Saturn Jupiter broadens the ideological scope. Saturn sun conjunction in this case can bring a sense of being torn between authority and service, but has an internal sense of being a “rightful heir” or custodian of something ancient. Rahu aspect probably makes him feel like he’s a key part of something that is much bigger than himself allowing for a kind of spiritual detachment. But Mars aspecting Saturn may lean heavily upon revenge and retribution. His desire the revive the Holy Roman Empire can be seen though this Saturn and the involvement with many of the planets: Uttara Ashadha Saturn wants to restore moral sovereignty, divinely sanctioned order, or a “righteous” collective structure. Sun-Saturn-Jupiter: A karmic sense of legacy leadership and burden of ideology. Mars-Rahu aspect: Strong drive to disrupt the modern world order in favor of his ancestral vision. In many ways his vision goes against the grain of the accepted modern globalist ideology, it breaks the world up into a few faith based systems that vie for global control. I suspect islam would be his main enemy along with the mass migration. No doubt the global conservative movements mostly support his ideology and vision.
Saturn Mahadasha 1989 – 2008: his sense of responsibility to the team or political party became fortified. After Jupiter Mahadasha this becomes a kind of put up or shut up time in his life. We see some of the inherent contradictions of this combination in his life. Saturn rules 4th house and in Habsburg’s case we see a preservation of local cultures, the heir of an imperial dynasty working within global institutions.
Saturn in Sagittarius 4th house
Rules the 5th & 6th houses for Virgo ascendant.
Phala Deepika Saturn in 4th house: “Will make the native live an unhappy homeless life without any conveyance, deprived of his mother and sickly during early life.”
Jataka Bharnam Saturn in 4th house: “Weakens the native due to excess bile and wind, the person has a wicked disposition, is lethargic, quarrelsome, weak and dirty. The native constructs a house far from place of birth and has an interest in farming, working with iron, taking part in politics, The person might live in a paternal property with great inconvenience, face mental anguish due to slander, trouble from animals. The person remains full of anxiety, lethargic, worried. Adverse effects can be predicted for the natives mother as well.”
B.V. Raman Saturn in the 4th house: “Sickly during early years; deprived of mother and unhappy; suffers from windy and phlegmatic complaints; lethargic temperament; will not inherit any property; will have troubles from house and vehicles; disliked by relatives; desire to live a very secluded life; unfavourable for domestic family affairs, unless beneficially aspected or associated.”
Chamatkar Chintamani Saturn in the 4th house: “The native is not blessed with patrimony, movable or immovable. Bad name through brothers, brethren and relatives for nothing. Loss of property and conveyance. Source of trouble for parents. Suffers biliousness. He has unbearable mental torture from false allegations and criticism of the brothers and relatives. There is fear through cattle wealth, causes distress to parents and constant bile problems. He does not enjoy health and had gain through enemies, much sorrow, worry and separation. There exists anxiety, insensible, mental affliction, powerlessness, and emaciated. 4th house denotes happiness: Saturn in 4th destroys this. The native is always unhappy, loss of home, honour and mother. The native himself being good lives with bad and wicked people. Brothers and sisters steal away his wealth and he has heart problems, long nails and hair on the body.
If Saturn is progressed, the relative suffers loss of life. If retrograde, wife, children, and attendants suffer loss of life. The native migrates to another village but gains no happiness. He is crafty and immoral and has neither home nor status. The native suffers loss of mother, and lives without happiness of wealth with his step-mother. If Saturn is exalted or in own sign, these results are not seen. If Saturn is the lord of lagna, the mother lives long and the native enjoys good fortune. If Saturn conjoins the lord off the 8th, the native suffers loss of mother and much trouble besides.
Saturn denotes difficulties and trouble through property, legacy or mines, acquisitiveness, denial of worldly success, contrary domestic and family affairs, little success against heavy odds, responsibilities without reward, asceticism at the close of life and lack of interest in worldly affairs. Well aspected or dignified Saturn bestows property, gain through produce and mines.
Saturn in masculine sign indicates favourable results. It is good for government service if in Aries, Cancer, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, Scorpio, Pisces, Gemini and also denotes magistrate or sub-judge, teacher, chance of 2nd marriage. Good for business if in Virgo, Capricorn, Aquarius; but unfavourable for service; even the only son is denied patrimony. Slow progress in business in the beginning.
The native is generally large hearted, quiet, sober, lofty, patient, not avaricious, just, virtuous, hospitable, donor, generosity leading to poverty in old age but still does not turn from benevolence. A large number of children of this Saturn is in Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces. Few children if in Gemini, Libra or Aquarius. Two or three if in Taurus, Virgo or Capricorn.
Death of young and well settled son. Loss of wealth. Fortune after accumulated wealth. Gain or success after 36 till 56. Adopted son, access in foreign land. West is favourable for Saturn in Taurus, Virgo, or Capricorn. North for other signs. Success and gain in the 16, 22, 24, 27 and 26th years; physical pain in 8, 18, 22, 28, 40 and 52nd years.”
BPHS 5th lord in the 4th house: “The native will be happy with blessing of maternal happiness, wealth, and intelligence. He will be a king, minister or preceptor. This is a very auspicious situation. Libra ascendant will cause a significant Raja Yoga for government favour. Gemini ascendant will give contrary results due to Venus debilitation here: the native gets separated from his father, becomes pleasure loving and does not adopt health means or recreation. His children have to suffer hardship and trouble. He does not talk of reason. He is not worth to be a preceptor, he faces obstacles to education. His experiences living abroad are not happy, and his father is of questionable character. Virgo ascendant prompts the native to get a medical education or study chemistry.”
B.V. Raman 5th lord in the 4th house: “If favourably disposed the native will have few sons, one of whom will live by agriculture. The mother will live long. May become an advisor to the ruler or his preceptor. If afflicted it causes the death of children. Moderate strength confers daughters but no sons.”
BPHS 6th lord in the 4th house: “The native will be devoid of maternal happiness, intelligent, a tale-bearer, jealous of others, fickle-minded and very rich. There is fear of having a vehicle accident, disputes may arise over immovable property and there will always be some kind of dispute over property, social disputes. For Libra ascendant there will be particularly malefic effects regarding maternal property and some accident is certain.”
B.V. Raman 6th lord in the 4th house: “If well-fortified he lives in a dilapidated building. The native will have breaks in education and discard his mother. Maternal uncles will generally be land cultivators. If weak and afflicted the native will quarrel with his mother and ancestral property will be involved in debts. He will work as a menial and lead a miserable life. Trouble through home, domestic affairs and servants.”

They can feel quite restrained by local beliefs and traditions. Stuck with rule-bound religious parents. Much thankless service to the parents, the home, the family, the local lands. Strict, cold and disciplined. They do become adept at dealing with ideological controversy. As 5th lord this service is like a long term investment.
This is a good Saturn for teaching, constructing, inhrestracture. They might learn from home, either home schooled, or more likely taking extra learning in the home related to caste or position in society. They do well with technical and theoretical topics like math, astrology, language, mantra, spiritual practice, art theory. They could study theology, history, law, scripture. They might be a guardian of the local culture. Of course this can also go towards policing, teaching, a moral duty to care and protect. This is typically more of a defensive posture, strong boundaries, solid wall. Civil service, military is also possibly, working in the home, in hostels, ashrams, centres of education and culture.
They tend to have a lot of karma to work out regarding home, comfort, mother. Home might be older, a fixer-upper. They won’t find much comfort or security in the world until they spend 1/3 of their life working for it, but usually by middle age they are doing alright. They often build stone walls, and can be pretty heavy with the security since they don’t usually feel particularly secure. They will likely find their sense of home and comfort in a spiritual or university community. Sometimes in foreign lands. The need meaning and purpose in order to relax.
Mother works, or os overburdened somehow. Strict letter of the law upbringing, perhaps safety and security being used as means of control. Chores and responsibilities growing up, perhaps a certain level of self reliance or perhaps even having to care for their own parents in some way.
Children do not come easy with this Saturn in the 12th from the 5th. There can be difficulties with conception, loss or distance between children. Children represent responsibility that draws energy away from the childlike carefree fun. When, if there are children, one is typically just a provider and there is not much warmth with children unless other influences on with house bring it. They will be a dutiful parent.
This Saturn can create similar distance or absence with the mother. There can be a loss of hime comfort, loss of hime, housing trouble, trouble with landlords (or tenants). There can be trouble with step parents or even betrayal from ones own family or parents. No love between the members of the home; it’s all duty based. Mother is not there for care and comfort, but one might have to be available to comfort and care for the mother. Animals in the home. Home moves to convents, military or government posts, academia. A kind of unconventional home life. This Saturn gives good support to monks, people find their deeper purpose in something greater than home and family,
IN Saturn period we will see both success and troubles. This Saturn often allows then to get set into very productive habits, cold and dutiful withdrawing from pleasures to get things done. But there is often trouble in the family, in the home. Its almost like they need to get into a long habit of completing there duties and working around the home in order to get into their creative flow. Influence from Rahu sees to make a kind of disturbed genius. Saturn conjunction Moon brings emotional depression, coldness, austerity. Their gain and many of their friends will come from their own local culture, from teaching or providing spiritual guidance, They were likely raised by a step mother or a hired nurse and may have never experiences the nurturing bond with a true care giver. They often have had to fend for themselves from a young age.
Saturn in Mula 4th House

Unless there are some beneficial influences on this Saturn, home can feel like a big cold empty place. No love, no happiness or nourishment in the home. The home, the road, and the school are common places where disputes take place. With beneficial influence it can give a very old, ancient but beautiful home. Mars influence will certainly highlight knowledge of chemistry. Loss of a child is possible with this, that may be what sucks the joy out of the home. This suggests a disconnection, probably because of dispute, with the home culture. One may be caught upon with karmic forces that are bigger than they are. There is a loss of belonging that can often be easies to bear in a different country. Is should also be notes that this Saturn can also signify home in a prison or boardinghouse; but in most cases it’s some kind of spiritual or educational home,
This can be good for completing duties and chores about the home; living in a fixer-upper. Taking care of their parents or grandparents. There might be troubles in school, mother may suffer from addictions, and they themselves might be stuck in the home due to illness or have to follow regular predictable rhythms

Teachers, working with local cultures, living in marginalised neighbourhoodsOne is typically working with the land. For many of us their home might be like a theme park, very lovey, but perhaps missing some of the practicality that Saturn typically brings, though with this Saturn, the practical form itself might be quite beautiful. They have a sense of responsibility for a place, even if they go away from their home (birth) place, they are likely to retain some connection; certainly for the life of their parents. They can work a lot, take on a lot of responsibility for the comfort of others. Their habits are almost unchanging, they can work a lot, and party a lot, though they might also be the one responsible for the party and all the lovely arrangements. A responsibility to regulate local ceremonies. Strong position for a teachers of practical wisdom.

BPHS 6th lord in the 5th house: “The natives wealth will always be fluctuating, he will contract enmity with his son and friend, but will be happy, selfish and kind.”

If the 7th lord is weak there may be no children. If severely afflicted one may get issues from an adulterous conduct of the wife. If there is a mix of malefic and benefic influence the native may get only daughters. Trouble to one’s office superiors is likely. The native will possess good character.”

Saturn give delays and restrictions to children, little ability to have fun and just enjoy life. Their creativity can be blocked, trouble from children, Marriage might also come about or be held together by the duty towards children. Saturn brings some karmic heaviness to these maters. Saturn brings a bit of cold separation from children, but a solid respect can be built over time. There can also be step children with this, marrying someone who is already with a child. You have to sacrifice something for the child; both jute 6th house and Saturn kick in; it’s gonna be a tough road. But responsibilities towards children is more likely with Saturn in 5th than Saturn in 4th which gives the extra loss and distance between oneself and their duties towards children. But here the child might have health issues, there could be a loss of the first child…, Saturn eating his own child. Or maybe some accident once around children makes the native doubt themselves. I’m not ready for the responsibility of children. I would expect an aspect from a strong Jupiter could bring a whole litter of children, and Venus would bring a lot of love. Moon here would only tighten the fear, as would the traumas from Mars’ knife. Ketu is also a deadly one, but in this case it might also signify a great surrender due to some major illness or oddity of the child. It’s hard to tell sometimes if children will come late or if they will come early and with much hardship.
One often meets the spouse at a wedding or celebration, possibly a religious service because of sagittarius. It’s all fun and games until someone gets knocked up. Spouse is usually more conservative than themLeo native. This can sometime point to student teacher relationships revolving around academic or spiritual work.
Romance is heavy, where everyone else seems to be having fun, you’re working. Or the consequences for having a little bit of fun can be quite heavy.
Saturn Mula 5th House

They will be trying to create something that is timeless, like Antoine de Saint-Exupery’s “Little Prince.” They struggle with low productivity, for men then can also suggest reproductive issues, but and creative output will be slow, hard work with breaks in creativity, writers block and all the rest, but they are trying to make something timeless. To break everything down and really get to the point, often about children. The spirit of the thing, the spirit of Christmas. Maybe it’s a timeless ideological message and a chromic reckoning of old Scrooge who sucked the joy out of Christmas. Perhaps Dickens saw this trait in himself and then upon personal reflection of his past, where his life is now, and where it was going and he realized he had worked hard his whole life and had earned the right to have fun, enjoy, and bring joy to others.
They have potential for great creative works, but it will not come easy, one may have had to go to work early in life, always work before play, and then who has the energy for play. This Saturn also aspects two of the social trine bringing a sharp reduction to one to one encounters of the 7th house or even with friends outside of work or those doing their job from the 11th house.
From the Moon, this Saturn highlights a loss of innocence in childhood. Childhood depression and repression. The native has to undergo a creative destruction of joy, innocence, and ideological certainty. These natives often dismantle cultural or personal myths in their work, and their own lives often begin with deep denial of play or joy. Many become teachers or chroniclers of painful truths as a mean of healing. They want to get to the truth beneath the lie, even when the lie is the illusion of innocent joy. Their works are often saturnine parables about rediscovering joy.

Queen Bloody Mary: Saturn conjunct Mars. Aspected Jupiter. Jupiter in Gemini. Only surviving child of Catherine of Aragon. She ascended to the throne after the death of her half-brother, Edward VI. We see how this Saturn violently repaid the karma of her own childhood trauma and powerlessness. Her ideological reversion to Catholicism is a Saturnian return to roots, a purging and elimination campaign to bring Religious purity back to great Britain and exact revenge. Through the lens of this Saturn we can also understand the false pregnancy or tumor that disturbed her relationships and reproduction. Saturn denied her joy and offspring both (See Saturn 1st house.)

Their role is often to manage the celebration, the responsible one. Purva Ashdha moves past the destruction of Mula, but heavier responsibilities are sill there. There is no going scorched earth, rather than stripping everything away to The the root, they seem to be almost painting by numbers, of laying down a creative framework that can be followed by others. From the moon it seems to give good grit to athletes who sacrifice fun in order to perform at the highest levels: boxers, olympians, even the ice man had a difficult but devoted practice regime. We also so some connection to water and goddess Aps, through the Ice Man, but admittedly he’s the only one with obvious watery connections.

This Saturn is considered auspicious, they do not fear thieves, profit from cattle, instil fear in their enemies, obtain prosperity, and many followers and attendants as well as kindness from the king. One suffers from windy disease. A weak Saturn with malefic influence hare can bring very inauspicious effects: difficulties in profession and losses to servants.”
B.V. Raman Saturn in the 6th house: “Quarrelsome; obstinate; voracious eater; foe-less; courageous. If afflicted, one gets sick due to privation or neglect; troubles through subordinates. If Mars is the afflicting planet, dangerous illness and operations. If Rahu afflicts, the person suffers from hysteria. Well aspected denoted gain through contract work, mining, masonry, etc.”
Chamatkar Chintamani Saturn in the 6th house: “The native has nothing to fear from enemies, thieves or even the king. A matchless warrior, contrary and combative. Blessed with cattle wealth. Trouble through maternal uncles. He is well known, generous, and prosperous, but not without some trouble. Fond of merit, noble, a protector, strong and healthy with a good appetite. He is recognised by enemies, blessed with sons and has respect for the learned. He is sensual, can face heavy odds and has plenty of attendants and followers. The native is robust, healthy, powerful, fortunate with much pleasure, jewellery, conveyance in life. He is learned, rich, happy, free from enemies, a favourite of the government, loving wife and lucky sons. The native has few relatives or brethren. He annihilates his enemies and possesses growing wealth.
If Saturn is weak by sign or placement the native is denied progeny and will remain weak and the enemy will be mean; in other signs he is triumphant. If in own sign or exalted the native will be a good writer, wealthy, lustful and potent with a charming personality. With a well placed Saturn he will have no enemies. The native may suffer from diabetes and/or venereal disease, but he will be brave and intelligent.
If Mars conjoins there will be much travelling abroad, makes a poor raja yoga, effort is fruitless, happiness is denied, but the native will be industrious. If Saturn is lord of the 8th there will be losses, biliousness and much pain and suffering from wounds. This native has to pass through many ailments that are beyond his control: privation, want, or neglect leading to sorrow and disappointment. If afflicted by the luminaries incurable disease like rheumatism. The trouble point is typically indicated by the sign Saturn is in. There is loss and trouble attendant, menials, animals, accidents and operations; circulatory problems, indigestion and debility.
Exalted or well aspected Saturn indicates strenuous or sitting work. Masonry or cement, sculpture, agriculture, excavation; gain and success through attendants. Favourable if in Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, Gemini, Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces.
There will be trouble and hinderance early in life and no help or support from any quarter. Much criticism and little gain after much work and effort. If badly afflicted and Venus is badly afflicted he may suffer from impotency and many other diseases. The native wife may be sickly and jealous by nature, denying the native happiness from marriage. If Venus is well-placed but the 7th lord is afflicted, the native might suffer from piles. If Venus is weak but not afflicted, one may desert or lose one’s marriage partner through indiscreet acts.”
BPHS 8th lord in the 6th house: “The native will win over his opponents, have a diseased body and will fear snakes and water in childhood.”
B.V. Raman 8th lord in the 6th house: “If conjunct the 6th lord raja yoga results: Marital affluence, fame, acquisition of objects desired are the good results. But the native may suffer ill-health. If afflicted, the native suffers loss of money through theft, trouble from the courts and the police. The natives maternal uncles may suffer great trouble. If the 6th lord is fortified he is able to overcome all his troubles and emerge victorious. No attempt by his ill wishers and enemies to harm him will succeed.”

The only saving grace of this Saturn is that it forms a vipreet Raj yoga, but not a strong one unless Jupiter is involved. They will be stuck in cycles of blame and accusation. There can be accidents in the workplace sudden and unexpected transformations seem to arise from the dullness of daily chores will also be clocked in these duties.
One wonders how much sex crimes and improper relationships might factor into this Saturn. Loss of partnerships, breakdown of the marriage, sudden an unexpected breakup that come from no where but never the less drag out for years sometimes. They are resistant to break up, they are stuck doing service where there is no trust, no warmth, no appreciation (unless Venus aspects), The problem is that they spend much of their life blaming the other for their problems. This Saturn demands that we take responsibility for our side of any dispute, but we might also find that we are blamed or take too much of the blame. Accusations are usually circular, back and forth, persistent.
Chronic health problems are also likely, possibly of a secret nature. Gut health will be poor, malabsorption of nutrients, poor digestion and constipation are just some of the issues they might face. Saturn is 6th can give nerve and bone problems, especially if sun or moon is involved. But police also have this, crisis workers.

Phala Deepika Saturn in 7th house: “Gives an ugly wife, poverty, and misery to one who is always loitering.”
Jataka Bharnam Saturn in 7th house: “The native is weak bodied, suffers disease, earns livelihood by a lower standard, lives with low persons, and remains unhappy due to wife, house and wealth. Not auspicious for health of one’s wife, one lacks enthusiasm and gets disrespect from women, and one’s wife remains unhappy, disappointed, despaired. May loose business partnerships. But if Saturn is well-placed and influenced by benefics and lords of auspicious houses they profit from partnership, get a wife with clear uncomplicated thoughts and views.”
B.V. Raman Saturn in the 7th house: “The native will be under his wife’s control. She will be ugly and hunched back. He will have more than one marriage or will marry a widow or divorcee or someone advanced in age. He will be diplomatic and enterprising. He has residence abroad, a stable marriage and political success.”
Chamatkar Chintamani Saturn in the 7th house: “The native is denied a charming partner, able, faithful, helpful friends and wealth for a long time. Both husband and wife are always sick. Unhappy, want of enthusiasm, feeling small and nervous. Greedy. How can this native be influential and impressive. The native is a debauchee surrounded by wicked friends and wealth through fraud and dishonest means, strong craving, crazy, agitated. Can he be happy? He will have an ailing partner, neither strength nor wealth. Apathy, leanness, be susceptible to sickness and disease; of restless mind. A man of few words, blockheaded and dependent, unemployed, unsocial, unfortunate in respect to wife, home and wealth. Slighted by women and his second marriage with a vain and crippled girl or with the daughter of a friend. He is attached to despicable women, unhappy and deceitful. This Saturn indicates a late marriage with a steady, faithful, industrious, careful, thrifty, and practical partner, or one older than the native, sober and wealthy. Afflicted Saturn will cause much sorrow and grief, in the married life with death or indifference. There will be loss of wealth through contracts, partnerships, opponents, litigation, business enmities and treachery. Marriage partner may not be like-minded. Both partners will be of unsound body and mind.
The native is a prostitute, debauchee, if in own or exalted sign. If conjunct Mars, the wife is very sexy. If with Venus the native himself is sexy and fond of other women. This Saturn is mostly unfavourable if in Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn, Libra or Aquarius. If in Aries Leo, Gemini, Cancer, Scorpio, Sagittarius or Pisces, a happy and successful family life. In Leo or Sagittarius it gives a charming and imposing wife. In Aries, slim and smart; hair, well set, pointed nose, long face, small eyes. In Taurus, Virgo or Capricorn, contrary to aforementioned traits. In Gemini, Libra or Aquarius she is of round face, impressive hair, silky and glowing, fair complexioned but quarrelsome. In Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn or Aquarius denotes two marriages. Fortunate after the 2nd, but incomparable partner. In Libra, good partner but poor financial position. She is fond of good food and has a strong sexual desire. If in Aries, Gemini, Leo, Sagittarius, Capricorn or Aquarius promises good education. Success as an advocate or Magistrate. Gain through contract, coal, iron, work in mines, expert if in Taurus, Virgo, Libra, Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces. If in Gemini Virgo, Sagittarius, or Pisces they might be a teacher, lecturer or reckoner. If In Gemini, Libra or Aquarius grants children at long interval. Good for business or service. This Saturn causes early death of the husband or wife; or long ailments. In Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, Gemini, Libra indicated the native is large-hearted, sensual, extravagant, short-tempered, generous, egoist, proud but loyal to his wife. Late progeny if in Virgo, Libra or Sagittarius.”
BPHS 8th lord in the 7th house: “The native will have two wives. If conjunct a malefic planet there will certainly be loss in his trade. Pisces or Virgo ascendant most commonly provides two wives due to the debilitated nature of the planets involved.”
B.V. Raman 8th lord in the 7th house: “If conjunct the 7th lord longevity will be curtailed. The native’s wife may suffer ill health. If afflicted, the native himself might suffer from disease. He may go abroad where he meets with ill health and problems. If both 7th & 8th lords are strong, the native will undertake foreign journeys and diplomatic missions and he will distinguish himself.”
BPHS 9th lord in the 7th house: “The native will get happiness from wife, will be virtuous and famous.”
B.V. Raman 9th lord in the 7th house: “The native may go abroad and prosper there. His father may also prosper in foreign lands. He will get a noble and lucky wife. This Saturn is likely to delay relationships since the natives are too serious and too ideological in their marital thinking. It’s important that they share The same faith with their partners. It’s also possible that strong partnership can dilute the power of the 8th house catastrophe, though such catastrophes might also occur in the form of the partner. Heavy duties towards the partner might come up, perhaps they get sick or develop some kind of chronic disease that the native has to devote themselves to. The relationship bring higher purpose, it brings meaning into the life and becomes a form of yoga in itself,
The possibility for teacher student relationships arise with this Saturn, this time putting the native in the student seat as Saturn typically gives and older more mature spouse and a solid mature relationship. They whole negotiation process can be a little cold; a strong legally binding agreement, But 9th house and Jupiter will allow that higher wisdom to flow. To go back to the teacher student implications, Saturn & 9th house. But also the ascendant 7th house axis with a Gemini, easy going, forever young native seeks the broader minded Guru figure: older, more stable.

We can expect some deep research, explosive scandals, sudden rises and falls in career and reputation, separation from father, father figures and gurus; a loss of faith, perhaps even excommunication. They will likely get involved with tantra and occultism. It won’t take much affliction to get involved with secretive, taboo, immoral professions; in any case, one’s reputation will suffer. They will have difficulty with way showers and father figuges. They tend to act outside of the lines to some degree, go against dharma with their work. Understanding the deeper meaning of things will come later, with experience. There is typically a fear of death with this Saturn. Chronic illness in =possible, They will maintain a Haigh level of secrets regarding their spiritual beliefs; they might go against the grain of society in this way. Their career too might be secretive for similar reasons.
This Saturn does give good potential for occult science, research,
Leadership or career respect does not come easily here. Saturn forces them to prove themselves, prove their research, prove that they have gone deep, they their have crossed lines, transformed, that they have changed their career or belief. One wonders if religious conversion might not be necessary and perhaps even documented. There will be lots of ups and downs in career. Nothing flashy, possibly a bit secretive. Respect will come with time; after you’ve done the work. Fields related to: Government, law, teaching philosophy, ethics, astrology, insurance, inheritance law, insurance, research, and healing professions. They might become highly respected professors or spiritual guides later in life. Perhaps dealing with death, or helping the less fortunate. They might be working with other peoples money, criminal justice, spy work, military, trauma surgery, mortuary sciences, underground economy, work with waste, sexual counseling, providing leadership and policy for situations of life or death, safety, trauma.
The classics suggest a career working with garbage, the things other people throw away, possibly what we consider recycling these days. Otherwise, they might be working with sex or death.
Chronic heath conditions can be there, Hips, knees, bones, thighs, sciatic pain, Typically some kind of degenerative disease. Saturn in Sagittarius 9th house
Rules the 10th & 11th houses for Aries ascendant.
Phala Deepika Saturn in 9th house: “Deprives the person of good luck, wealth, children, father and religious merit. He is wicked besides.”
Jataka Bharnam Saturn in 9th house: “The native has faith in his religion and acts in conformity with it. His body is disabled, he is stupid or foolish but extremely beautiful. Enthusiastic towards religious traditions and unshakable faith in scriptural traditions. He is considered hard or stiff for not adapting a more flexible attitude; this makes them foolish. It gives feelings of pride and arrogance and causes loss of destiny. If this Saturn is debilitated, the wife remains diseased and sickly, and one will die of a windy disease, or paralysis all of a sudden.”
B.V. Raman Saturn in the 9th house: “He will lead a lonely life and may not marry. He will be well known for his valour on the battle field. Conjunct with the Sun can cause serious conflicts with his father as well as with his own children. He may suffer from growths or lumps in the stomach. Chamatkar Chintamani Saturn in the 9th house: “The native is mentally seasoned, averse to lust and sensitivity. By disposition and practice he is not unpleasant to others, rather, he is gentle, attractive and lovely. Fond of Yogic Philosophy and follows it. Rajoguna predominant. Grief and sorrow through friends and relatives in misery. Dutiful to pull them out of their lot, or they renounce this world in a quest for the great spirit. They are always ready for pilgrimage to control sensuousness and distributes alms. He has a pure mind and is straight forward. In old age he becomes detached from worldly affairs and turns to yogic practices to attain salvation. The native is pious and virtuous. He has some physical deformity but is handsome. The 9th house is a trine which is synonymous with Saturn. The native is prosperous, soft, happy, and generous; blessed with sons, weak and perverse. Vicious unfortunate, poor, irreligious, absence of children and parents, reflective, subjugates the enemy. He is a trouble creator, conceited, passionate, sick, a cheat not sparring his own father, sensual, loss of power leaves him sick and infirm. The native is vainglorious, noble, distrust of both father and god. Unfortunate but religious. If Saturn is exalted or well aspected the native has lived well both in the past life and in the present one. If in its own sign, performs lord Shiva Yajanas, victor, possessing state seal and conveyances. The native gets an authoritative post, maintains the archives, tanks and temples for the common men in his 36th year; longevity to father if Saturn is in his own or exalted sign. Danger to father if it’s with a malefic or weak.
If Saturn is well posited in Libra, Capricorn, Aquarius, or Gemini the native has a scientific and philosophical bent of mind. By nature his is studious, meditative, investigating all that is hidden in the womb of the earth and above. He has an interest in Astrology, geology, archaeology, mineralogy, and metaphysics. A devoted religious spirit. If afflicted, it is unfavourable for voyages, travel and foreign affairs. Under Mars, madness or serious mental problems, their unawakened mind betrays every shade of stupidity, religious bigotry, loss through litigation, relatives by marriage, over-confident and slow to comprehend. This Saturn is favourable if in Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Pisces and grants good fortune in the 36th year. Common man starts livelihood at 20, of status at 27. Growth of inherited wealth.
Love marriage with natives or foreigners. Good education. Favourable for teachers and lawyers. Sometimes good for independent business and step-mother. Good for younger brothers if in Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces.”

If both benefics and malefic aspect, the native is usually well-to-do. He follows a hereditary position like preacher, teacher, or healer. The father of the native has great influence over him. He will be dutiful son and do many charitable deeds.”
BPHS 11th lord in the 9th house: “The native will be fortunate, skilful, honoured by the king, and wealthy. They don’t have to work to gain wealth, it comes by good fortune; occasionally by gambling, speculation or shares.”

Work as a preacher, professor, guru of gurus, meteorologist. Martin Luther King and Osho both have this. Their work is likely to be through the church, temple or university. If some sense they go away from the rat race, the normal way of developing a reputation in society; instead they devote themselves to higher wisdom and knowledge. But it will not be easy or quick. These are not necessarily entitled scholars with a PhD and Dr. In front of their name; their widow comes through experience, travel, pilgrimage around the world. There are several really serious explorers, pilgrims, people who make profit through good fortune, educational foundations, schools and places of higher wisdom.
Father figures tend to be older, colder, less accessable and perhaps not much help; Saturn brings much self learning, little faith in gurus, one needs experience to believe.

Rules the 11th & 12th houses for Pisces ascendant.
Phala Deepika Saturn in 10th house: “The native will be a king or minister, or depend on agriculture. He will be brave wealthy and famous.”
Jataka Bharnam Saturn in 10th house: “Makes a prime minister of the kings court, exceptionally prudent, courteous and official manner, chief of villages, officer of cities, extremely clever dexterous and wealthy. They make slow progress in their career, lack happiness from father, perform religious celebrations with cheer and according with family tradition.”
B.V. Raman Saturn in the 10th house: “The native becomes a ruler or minister. He will be an agriculturist, brave, rich and famous. He will be dispassionate and work for the down-trodden masses. He will be judicious and work in the capacity of a judge. The native visits scared rivers and shines and becomes an aesthetic later in life. His career is marked by sudden elevations and depressions. If associated with the 8th lord in a malefic navamsha, the native gets a tyrannical superior officer.”
Chamatkar Chintamani Saturn in the 10th house: “The native gains a livelihood slowly, wins at war, misuses judicial and administrative powers when granted under the influence of this Saturn. Death of parents in childhood. Lives on goats milk and earns by his own hands. A hard life. A treasurer or judge with powers to do justice. Denied patrimony. Saturn dasha brings royal status, always happy, noble, honoured, affectionate. He will be a minister, curious, wise, and wealthy. If in Pisces he will be immoral and perverse with wicked sons, but takes Sanyas. If weak or in an enemy sign the native will be cruel and miserly, living by service, greedy and bilious, obstacles to work and progress. Maraka for father; trouble for mother. Gain and success through the body; conveyance and friends are denied. If influenced by benefics there will be success. Fortune after 36 if in a kendra, public service, social worker, capable to run government offices; many friends and much honour. A senior district officer. Interested in agriculture, a king or a minister, gallant, reputed. A discriminative and intelligent commander, affectionate and loyal attendants, maintains status in foreign lands, fearless and proud. The native goes for a holy dip at age 25.
“This Saturn indicates power, pride, ambition, and lust for material and worldly gain. If well aspected and positioned their perseverance and industry will ensure success. They might have slow progress, but they will gain by strength of character. A favourable Mercury influence indicates government officials, land surveyors, managers, lawyers, scientists, geologist, architecture, mining, engineers, and other employment which requires care, skill, diligence, patience and great effort over time.
“Affliction or unfavourable placement, denoted adversity after success; absence of opportunity. For businessmen there will be financial setbacks, dishonour to professionals, defeat to politicians through failure to gain popular support. Affliction from Mercury indicates menial labour or service positions like coal handler or gardener. Saturn in Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, Gemini, Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces gives favourable results; but not in other signs. Separation from parents is almost sure — death, adoption, travel, business conditions, change of vocation, setbacks or imprisonment — reason may be any. There is demotion, suspension, termination, imprisonment, and chronic diseases are familiar gifts under an afflicted Saturn. Father and son cannot progress under the same roof. If Saturn is in Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, or Gemini the native is a teacher, administrator, occult scientist. If in Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn, Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces, Libra and Aquarius he is a Sanyasi or a writer, astrologer or preacher. If in Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, Gemini, Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces the native might be a lawyer, advocate or senior judge. Trouble through family, sensual, reputation as both sexologist and vedantist.”
BPHS 11th lord in the 10th house: “The native will be honoured by the king, virtuous, devoted to his religion, truthful and subdue his senses. Capricorn ascendant might deal in building material, real estate or land development. Aries ascendant will get success in their undertakings but it will come with a delay. They find the path for wealth late in life and always take the right path. They believe in following the book in regard to their religion. They may seek success through occult practices. They gain wealth through shares, through the income tax department or through an advocate related to taxation and finance.”
B.V. Raman 11th lord in the 10th house: “The native prospers in his business and makes good profits. His elder brother will also be helpful in business. He will earn some prize money for original contributions to his field of study or profession depending on malefic of benefic influences he will earn through fair or foul means.”
BPHS 12th lord in the 10th house: “The native will rise through royal persons and will enjoy only moderate paternal bliss.”

This brings losses tot he reputation and possibly even trouble finding work. For many of there people there has not been much good come of this. Uninspiring work career. Long career with many setback, losses to reputation and expenses to maintain your position and continue growth and expansion. Losses and gains get mixed so do networks and foreign places.

They will be separated from elder siblings, friends, connections. They might go away from the network due to some shame, especially if Sun is involved. Though he has the blessing of long life, his death is sudden and he dies away from home. If Aquarius ascendant there is no malefic effect.”
B.V. Raman 1st lord in the 12th house: “Same results as 1st lord in the 8th. In addition there will be many losses, visiting holy places and no success in business enterprise. Spiritual exile. Lots of loneliness and isolation, they can be the introverted spiritualist, remaining aloof, keeping to themselves, withdrawn. They could end up in an ashram or a monastery, these days it could be a foreign NGO or living abroad doing spiritual retreats. Of course this can also be hospitals, prisons, foreign educational institutions.
They have a rough Saturniam personality, doubters. Voltair was a infamous doubter. Skeptics who stay behind closed doors, sequesters in a simple contemporary conservative atmosphere: dark spiritual philosophical themes like the skull on the desk. There can be heavy brooding with this Saturn; the weight of the past bearing down upon them.
This Saturn brings exhaustion, chronic fatigue, ennui; its becomes a long steady dream on the vital energy. They sleep, but they don’t get rest. Mars or Sun will disturb the sleep and make them restless. It’s not exactly a depression they suffer from, unless moon is involved. Sun involvement is more about hiding the face in shame. They can be stuck in the past, detached from their physical body. If Mars conjuncts they might be medicated or on drugs suffering from heavy metal poisoning of have some other blood disorder.
Diet can be bland, limited, lacking nutrition. This Saturn aspects 2nd & 6th house, the food they eat and the medicine they take. But it also restricts the diet, late in life they will no doubt have regulate what they eat and learn to see food as medicine. It can be a tough lesson. In any case, poor diet, gut health negatively affect by Saturn and blood pressure. Stiff, sore, tired feet, I’ve been walking all day. Stiff hips, facial tension.
Isolated contemplative people, they don’t say much, this Saturn owns and aspects the 2nd house so he has a good grip on it. They might be slow to speak as children and not very vocal generally; they don’t speak unless they have to, or perhaps unless ‘spoken too.’ This helps to bring some Sagittarius gravity to the words they do speak. This Saturn can also be good for learning a foreign language, taking on a foreign identity, and these kinds of things.
Family wealth can be lost, possibly from exile or moving abroad. These people are not showy or flashy about wealth anyways, they could be rich and no one would know. They might be practically living in pyjamas. Possibly a foreign style: Pyjamas can sometimes be quite dignified, setting formal but relaxed tone. Their wealth is more likely to come from abroad for foreign sources, long term projects like an NGO or retreat, hiatus. They will likely look like and live like a poor person, but it’s possible they are sustained by a fairly deep well of wealth; they just don’t like to speak time money and energy needlessly.
These folks have likely been taking care of themselves since they were babies. They might be stuck in conflicted pessimistic thinking such that this life is nasty brutish and short. Moon will say much about early childhood nourishment, but this Saturn suggests malnourishment (in every sense) early in life.
This can be a good position for cloistered spiritual life, foreign volunteerism and service. It’s possible ones own family were immigrants or exiles with limited resources. Faith may be the only thing they have, and though this Saturn will be filled with doubt, they will also embrace that truth from all sides.
Losses and expenditures are reduced. They would do well with a meditation practice, Mantra japa is a must. They can get into a nice rhythm with this kind of thing; and get excellent results.
Saturn Mula 12th House
Lord of 1st & 2nd houses for Capricorn ascendant.
They have a strong anti-government approach; strong social criticism, exile, late life seclusion. . They might act as if they themselves are a shadow government, regulating things from behind the scenes, from exile, from prison, from the imagination. They are often sent away from the family at a young age, at least for a time. It may be to a religious or government institution. It may be associated with fear of going to sleep, being left alone, isolated. Additional malefics will heighten the fear, while more benefic influences will lessen it, or at least allow them to do some productive or useful work while away.
There might be many reasons for their fear of sleeping, if Mars is influencing, it might be fear of attack in the night, bad dreams, restlessness, some sort of psychosis in likely. With Ketu and Moon they are likely to fall into complete insanity as was the case with serial killer Albert Fish.
