Mike Holliday is a Vedic Astrologer, philosopher, yogi & traveler who has spent half his time since 2007 in India seeking the secret knowledge; following lonesome, pointless pilgrimage routes; and connection with the

ancestral root of humanity thru simple living with traditional societies. The other half of the year he is typically in Canada travelling and teaching across the country and living as closely as possible to nature.

Vedic Astrology:

Mike is a gifted Jyotisha specializing in Kundali interpretation for self knowledge to help people recognize their own individual nature and their connection to the cosmos. Jyotish is the science of light; the eyes of the vedas; it shines a light on life so that we can see ourselves more clearly.

Vedic Astrology offers insight into both linear time and the cycles of time that we face as individuals. Mike offers prediction of past present and future, as well as traditional & contemporary remedies to help people get the most from life.

Philosophy:

Mike has been studying philosophy his whole life. Since 2007 he has dedicated his life to the philosophical quest for truth along the pilgrimage routes and holy towns of India and around the world. And has made his home in Varanasi, India where he studies Vedic Astrology, Kashmiri Shaivism, and Indiaology in general.

He teaches yoga, philosophy & astrology throughout India and Canada as well as online.

Travel:

Due to overwhelming interest in his travels, Mike began sharing his off track pilgrimage adventures to holy places and tribal lands far away from the typical tourist destinations.

Mike has been living half his time in India since 2007. He has traveled the world and grew up traveling Canada, which he still does most summers. He is a natural nomad & pilgrim who has lived on the road most of his life.

You are welcome to join him for:

Yoga & Traditional Healing

Mike grew up with martial arts, Judo and the Kung Fu. His first trip to India in 2007 was to follow the Buddhist pilgrimage routes and study in Varanasi (near deer park where Buddha gave his first sermon). He took his first yoga class in Varanasi that year and began learning about hindu culture, vedic science and Indian philosophy. He follows the classical approach to yoga which emphasises meditation, breathing, steadiness of posture, and the use of knowledge and experience for empowerment.

Mike’s healing journey began with his own chronic sciatic pain and unbalanced lifestyle that was the cause of so much spiritual & mental suffering.

The pain led him to an understanding of the physical body as well as the various interconnected subtle bodies eventually curing himself with yoga, awareness, and meditation.

In addition to classical yoga and vedic astrology, Mike has studied Yoga Therapy, Thai Massage, Ayurveda, Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and takes some influence from Shamanism.
